The best restaurants

03/07/2025: I ordered for DELIVERY on a Wednesday evening . I made the call at 9:24pm the male on the other end of the phone took my order and asked me to spell out my address for the delivery , he said it would take 15/20 mins . 35 mins later I ring to see where the food is and the lady on the phone states it’s there waiting for me ? The male I spoke to , to make the order had my order down for collection. At this stage it was 10:15pm we were so hungry waiting on our food . I had complained to the lady on the phone and told her that her colleagues had clearly made a mistake so I asked her to freshen our food and send it out again , I was so hangry at this stage . I asked the lady on the phone what could she do for me and all she could do was take the delivery charge off with was €2.20 . I ring back to add two cokes to my order and I explain to the lady how frustrated I was that her colleague actually got me to spell out my address for the delivery so how did he get so mixed up that it was for collection ? The lady on the phone basically laughed at me . So unprofessional and not atal taking the responsibility or the situation serious , she was so rude . The delivery came and we were met with a lovely delivery driver and I had explained to him that I was not paying for the two cokes . He agreed with me after I explained the whole situation and he had to ring the lady in the Chinese shop to tell her that she can not charge me for the cokes because it was them that made the mistake . I am writing and explained all of this because i work with the public in my job and provide a service and I would never treat anybody especially if I was in the wrong like that lady treat the whole situation for me . I will never again order from the sea palace portmarnock .

15/01/2025: Honestly, really used to enjoy ordering from this place. It's very unfortunate that I have to avoid it now. Last time we ordered from here we found multiple hairs in the beef dish. Very unhygienic. Seems to have deteriorated quickly in recent months as we used to order frequently.

27/08/2024: Not great food steak was burnt and cold chips cold and wife's chicken curry not great microwaved but then found out it was closing since the food being cold

29/07/2024: A spacious room, but the carpet was a bit dirty.

07/11/2024: Prices have gone up food quality has gone way down order double bacon double chicken couldnt find the chicken, on a number of orders. Chicken tender they taste plastic and hard, chips use to be lovely crisp now their soggy dont know if its new management but last few months quailty had really gone down hill

18/10/2024: Fast and hassle free delivery Good pizza Customer service is excellent... employees remember preferences on pizza orders.

01/04/2025: €17.90 for fish and chips with a can of coke and garlic sauce I think is quite pricey😬 however it was delicious. I gave 1 star for the atmosphere because for the whole time while I was waiting for my order, what looked like a senior staff was giving out to one of the newer staff who actually served me, and by the way was very pleasant and professional. The older senior staff was not teaching him - he was giving out quietly but quite disrespectfully while waving his hands and throwing bags around. It was painful to watch and I actually felt bad for the younger guy. I was going to ask for a receipt to see a breakdown of the stuff I got as it seemed a bit expensive but I didn’t after seeing the scene I described because I would have just stressed the young guy out.

17/12/2024: Extremely rude employee (the italian guy) and bad food. Avoid at all costs

13/03/2025: Small spice bag, overcooked chips and popcorn sized chicken mostly batter and little if any peppers and onions. €9.50 with water plus card charge €0.50. Waste of a tenner and won’t be going back again.

23/02/2025: Used to be good. Very poor food, chips soggy, vegetables don’t exist and no seasoning on food. They just serving anything anyhow hoping you won’t come back and complain.

07/05/2025: They use cheap products chicken is stringy and processed and, sauces like water and lack flavour. Never again!

26/02/2025: Tofu spice bag is probably one of the best around. So glad it was put back on the menu!

31/05/2025: Never ever should the person I dealt with today work with customers, absolutely shocked !!!

21/06/2025: Delicious food and fast delivery. I ordered some Malaysian Curry and Duck with Orange Sauce.

17/05/2025: Ordered a small munchie boxed priced €16.50 for collection. When we arrived they asked for €22.50. When questioned, they said we ordered the large and tried to make us pay the full amount. We specifically ordered the small because neither of us were hungry but needed to eat. So after discussing the situation back and forth, the woman took the 2 cans of Coke away that were included in the large deal, which was 100% okay with us. We paid €16.50 and left the shop……. But when we got home and opened the box…. 95% chips……..I’ve had issues over the years with this place especially with service but that was the final straw. I’ll never be back. Chicken were also like rocks.

28/04/2025: I ordered food for collection from the website of the restaurant as given here. My order was confirmed and my card charged, but when I the restaurant was shut down, because it was Easter. Today I went there actually to collect the food that I paid for a week ago, but nobody was able to help me. You can keep the 11 euros as a tip for all the food I got from you in the last more than 9 years Thank you

27/04/2025: Honestly very poor quality food and very Bland flavour plus not what is advertised on the site menu..the quality of food and staff Don't justify the prices for there services...I highly recommend not wasting time or money on this Business....

30/06/2025: I’m a regular customer to pizza max and order multiple times a week but have noticed the last two times i ordered they changed the pepperonis on the pizza and I am devestated and honestly wont be ordering again until they bring back the “old pepperoni” there “new ones” are giving the whole pizza a horrible taste and ruining it please bring back the old pepperonis but other then that a great restraunt and always lovely well mannered delivery drivers

29/05/2025: I’m really disappointed with Pizza Max right now they got rid of their meal deals. Their old deal included a pizza, two sides, two drinks, and two dips for €20. Now, it’s €24.40 without the Coke and dips. Paying more for less just doesn’t make sense. Pizza Max has always been a budget-friendly option, but at this rate, I’d rather spend an extra €10 on Domino’s for better quality pizza.

28/05/2025: Lovely food and lovely people running the place. They gave us free curry sauce. We got pekora kebab and it was very tasty.

26/03/2025: Were usually not fussy but really awful food...it was a Tuesday night so alot of other takeaways closed. Gor the Indian dishes... horrific oily sauce. Staying at centre parcs. Drove down to collect as had read reviews re. Poor delivery. Also forgot half our order.

29/04/2025: I just prefer food the food was so dry the chips are cold I paid money for dry food so disappointed and 3 Neely chunk in it

17/05/2025: Spice bag is not over seasoned and is not dry and it was good. the pizza was good aswell
