27/09/2025: €8:40 for two crap flat whites that were scalding hot and just dire.

05/06/2025: We had to explain what a rasher was. Then he took the order after 5 times we repeated the order. After all that he said "now wait" and started serving the next person.

24/06/2025: Dirt. Used to be good. Chicken was pink last week. Im a loyal customer. These people have an excuse always. Cash only tax dodgers! Im sick of the service here. Avoid! Go to others in ballyer

14/05/2025: I ordered a spice bag no veg and large coke got i received veg in my spice bag and no drink was changed for everything when i phoned up jullie was not very helpful keep saying yes like she didn’t care i will never eat out of there again not the first time this had happened

26/08/2025: Sizzling Chicken Tikka with a sauce on top for starter korma same korma sauce used for the special chicken curry they called it. Reception area a mess too bright no atmosphere like you see in other Indian restaurants very out dated and old fashioned pictures for skip. Man that served our drinks 5 stars 🌟. Will not call again.

17/10/2025: Very suspicious driver. Made order on Uber Eats for pizza as surprise for the kids, paid online because there is no option for cash, so order would not have been made - nevermind delivered otherwise and driver is aware of this. Bell rang, I sent my 15 year old son down to the door. He was down there ages and I heard him asking my son loads of questions. Came up with the pizza, I looked out the window 5 minutes later and the driver was still parked outside my door. A few minutes passes and the doorbell goes again, I asked my son to pick up the mic and see what he wanted. Driver says to my son can you come back down the pizza isn't paid for. My son says it was, he says again you need to come back down the food isn't paid for. The word PAID in big capital letters is written on the sticker of the pizza box, right beside the order that he read back word for word to my child as I was listening, so he clearly knew it was paid for. I thought this was very suspicious, almost like he thought my child was home alone and tried to have him reopen the door for whatever reason. Why sit outside in the car for ages and then come back to say it wasn't paid, (even though it was), if it wasn't surely he would have said it to him before handing the food over. As I said they do not have the option to pay cash on Uber Eats, it's card only. Rang the shop, the first person said sorry about that we see that you've paid and they would contact the driver, second time I rang to make a complaint they couldn't care less. Be very careful of letting your kids order from here if they are home alone. If I wasn't here I dread to think what would have happened. Very scary experience.

17/10/2025: this is my favourite takeaway pizza in dun laoghaire it’s excellent, never disappoints.

12/08/2025: Balcony with a great view, once you get used to the roof in front of you 😉 For an extra star, balcony furniture or at least a small table there, and maybe a hairdryer, would have been necessary. Some breakfast ingredients are available on site, and you can make coffee and tea not only in your room—also a plus. The restaurant is open Saturday and Sunday, the food is really good, and the student waitresses do their best.

03/08/2025: Had a meal there this afternoon. Waited nearly an hour for our meal then main course arrived but no vegetables. Had to ask for them when we had eaten nearly half of our meal. Service was extremely poor and I know it is a Bank Holiday weekend but they should be prepared when they know they are going to be busy.

17/10/2025: Everything was precooked even the toast. It was the worst breakfast I've had . My Daughter had French toast that was precooked. Not great value for money.

22/08/2025: Beef here’s proper good—tender, not chewy, and there’s loads of it in the chow mein.​ The little spicy sachets? Game changer. Not too fiery, just enough kick. Got here 5 mins late, but still hot.​ Been coming here for years—food’s always fresh, never a dodgy batch. Moved back to Dublin recently, and it’s exactly the same taste as I remembered. Missed this place more than I thought. No complaints.

31/07/2025: Always get it and does be lovely but got it tonight and was absolutely disgusting chicken balls tasted like nothing a ball of grease chicken was Like bricks safe to say il never order from there again

15/10/2025: Located inside Hotel Strand, The River Restaurant and Bar has probably the best selection of breakfast items. It is open for lunch, tea and dinner as well. A variety of hot and cold breakfast items comprise of scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes, baked beans, sausages, bacon, fresh yogurt, cut fruits, flavored yogurt, fresh fruit such as oranges, apples and bananas, two types of smoothies, porridge, variety of toppings, dry cereals, milk, variety of breads, pancakes, waffles, croissants, muffins and fresh fruit juices. It has a coffee machine with variety of coffee drinks you can pour on your own as well as hot tea selections that you can make a pot of. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Food tastes very good. A great way to start your day with a scrumptious breakfast!!!

26/04/2025: Ordered online on the 13th of April - got no confirmation email but didn’t think much of it went to collect food about 20mins later and the place was closed……it was a Sunday and around 5:30/6pm frustrating but what’s worst is we got charged for the food ordered even though they were not open!!!!

02/04/2025: Obviously closed before 8.40 on a Wednesday night as they kept hanging up on my call. All I wanted was a bag of chips 😅

28/09/2025: Just had a pizza chips and chicken it was unreal. Everything was delicious 😋 so fresh and taste. The two girls at front of house are so friendly and chatty. And it was great to see George (The boss) behind the counter. The new interior is fab so clean and fresh. Top quality food and atmosphere.

27/09/2025: Very disappointed with Borza Baltinglass. The food quality is poor overall. The fish tastes like it’s straight from the freezer with no freshness at all. The kebab is dry, bland, and tasteless, and the “chicken kebab” is just chopped-up breaded chicken fillet rolls – nothing like a proper kebab. The pizza could be decent, but it’s always undercooked with barely any toppings, leaving it half empty. The only thing that’s just about okay are the chips. On top of all that, the prices have gone up a lot recently, and the quality certainly doesn’t justify what they’re charging. Definitely not worth the money.

30/05/2025: Used to be a great spot for pizza,now it's rotten. It's like they are trying to spare the toppings - barely any cheese and the sauce is manky- tastes like tomato paste. The quality for the price is shocking
