19/07/2025: Well, I'm now a the near two hour mark for the food you said would take 45 minutes to deliver. You won't answer your phone. Even Deliveroo has given up. Close this place down.

25/06/2025: I had one of the worst dining experiences at Vela. The food was incredibly disappointing—bland, greasy, and lacked any authentic flavor. We waited over 20 minutes just to get our order, and when it finally arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait. Every dish tasted like it had been sitting around for too long, and even the rice and naan were subpar. The service was slow and indifferent, with staff barely paying attention to the tables. Overall, it was a complete letdown. I’ve had amazing Indian food elsewhere, but this place completely missed the mark. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

02/05/2025: Overpriced for the small variety of food and the food itself were all very spices, having similar taste. This new version (shahi palace or something) is worse than before. No kids food options. Would not reccomend.

25/04/2025: We wanted a lamb kebab and they gave us a mixed kebab because they were running out of lamb, they also put sauces we didnt want in our kebab and it made me sick it went in the bin €30 gone

14/10/2024: Disgusting. 2 time in a row getting awful food here. This time, sausages were frozen cold, and the toast had actual mould all over it. Got up and walked out and never going back. Worst place I've been too and when U consider the competition up the road in carrigaline etc surprised this place is still open. Tbh, based on the disgusting nonsense served today, I'll probably report them to FSA

25/09/2024: Really poor service all of the waiters were miserable and wouldn't let us order breakfast 20min before time or order lunch so we just had to wait and the food wasn't great unfortunately.

21/08/2025: The driver didn’t check our details, didn’t even say hello, he handed us our food and left. So rude… it was like a horror scene when we received our food. The bag was smothered in oil… and was soggy. We opened the bag and our food looked like it has been eaten. IT HAS BEEN EATEN BY the driver or soemthing… I will be complaining to the HSE. I am NOT coming back EVER AGAIN. if only I could show you the photos…the delivery was 10€… we only ordered a burger and taco chips.

15/08/2025: What happened to this place?! My wife and I loved coming here every so often for food as we always enjoyed the food and the staff were always friendly. We were in today, after not been here in a long time, to get breakfast. We could not have been more disappointed with what we got. Both of us ordered the smashed avocado and poached eggs on sourdough. What we got were two small eggs on one tiny and thin slice of bread....for almost 14 quid! I get that the cost of living has affected prices everywhere, but portion sizes should not be reduced. No excuses for giving us a thin sheet of paper that was apparently sourdough bread. Daylight robbery. I usually don't leave negative reviews as if I don't like the food, then I simply will not go back. However, when I went to pay for the food, there was a guy serving coffee the whole morning that took my payment. He is a middle aged guy with glasses and grey hair who I assumed was senior staff. He did not say a thing to me which was highly unusual. No how was your meal. No thank you. I even put a few quid in the tip jar in front of him. He didn't once look at me, just simply put my receipt on the counter and walked away. I have never come across the likes of it in any hospitality spot, the height of rudeness. Judging from the amount of recent negative reviews, and the lack of response from the restaurant to address these complaints, it really does seem like this place has gone to the dogs. Shame. Avoid!

08/08/2025: We’ve always enjoyed Noah & Co. in Swords Shopping Centre, so we came to the Liffey Valley branch expecting the same quality. Big mistake. The food was a disaster. I ordered the super salad based on the photo on their website – what I got looked nothing like it. It was unappetising and missing the freshness I expected. I paid an extra €3.50 for grilled chicken, and the portion was laughably small (photo attached). Definitely not worth the money. My partner’s beef burger was even worse – overcooked, dry, and so thin it looked like it had been forgotten on the grill. He described it as the worst burger he’s ever had in Ireland. We didn’t get a photo of the whole thing, but the piece he shared with me (photo attached) says it all. If you value your money and your taste buds, I’d not recommended and I will never set foot in this branch again.

08/07/2025: I usually don’t like to leave bad reviews but I hope the owner sees this. Chopped used to be amazing, it was a concept popular in the states and one of its kind. Then someone obviously see how good sprout was and tried to copy was one of the worst rebranding I’ve ever seen, I’d sue if it was my business, and doesn’t even chop the salads anymore? So locations have chopping stations that aren’t used, it’s kind wild. And to top it all off the chicken is now pre packaged, no more cooked chicken breast with your bowl, that’s the nail in the coffin. ⚰️ I’d rebrand and revert to your original concept, you know I what makes sprout so good? New menu regularly, with fresh insanely good options cooked freshly, don’t over do it, stay in your lane and you actually could have continued the success, now it’s just a subpar salad bar.

11/06/2025: Food is nice and staff are always kind but wrap is too expensive. 11 euro now for a wrap. Gone up so much lately.

10/03/2025: food is normally good there but they always end up messing up the orders with wrong toppings, pizzas cut wrong.. this is the third time this has happened to me where an order was wrong, if you want your order correct go somewhere else’s.

04/04/2025: I know if I’m writing here that it’s BAD! Genuinely worst pizza I’ve ever tasted - it had no taste apart from salt and oil - genuinely horrendous- ordered two “dip” under the “dips/sauce” section and paid 2.50€ for a “cheese” and “bbq” - received grated cheese in a small tub - sorry but where is the dip? What in gods earth do I need 2.50 of grated cheese in a tiny pot for? I have a block of cheese here - I ordered a sauce! And the bbq tasted so sour - it was bloody awful! I am so angry as we ordered this for a birthday at our house and what we got for 40€ was not worth 20 - the Chicken in the pitta was ok but tasted cheap- we ordered this food at 5:05 and it was ready for delivery at 5:15 - some people might be happy with that but I don’t think food of good quality can come out that fast and taste good and this CERTAINLY did not . People work hard for their money and expect at least something half decent . The delivery driver was professional and we tipped him but will never order again. We had wanted to order from there for months but kept putting it off because it’s expensive . Seriously try your own food .

21/08/2025: Service is absolutely terrible ordered noodles and we got kicked out just for sitting down and 2 weeks before the spice bag chicken was pink NEVER order here

30/07/2025: The store's operational hours are from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Upon arriving at 8:40 PM, I found the door locked. Despite knocking, staff members gestured that the store was closed, which was 20 minutes prior to the scheduled closing time. My travel time to the location was 25 minutes. It's really disappointing.

08/07/2025: Got overcharged, and normally wouldn’t notice but €10.50 for a pretty standard footlong is a lot. As it didn’t match the price advertised I questioned it. The rude man behind the counter told me it was because I got cheese. I normally get cheese. It comes with cheese, but apparently it only comes with a certain type of cheese, which is a little crazy. Charged an extra €2 for cheese….. that’s supposed to come with it anyway. Nothing but rudeness and didn’t want to apologise or do anything else, just moved on and practically ignored me. It’s not a lot I guess, but if he’s done it to me, he’s doing the same to others. Be mindful is all I would advise.

31/07/2025: The chipper is by no means bad and I come here from time to time but I was here recently and I have say the service left me annoyed and feeling short changed. The price advertised for a burger and chip was €6.95 and when I handed in my €10 the change I was given was €3. I know its only 5 cents but if their prices say €6.95 I expect €3.05 back. I doubt I would have been charged anything more than €6.95 if I had used my debit card. Giving your customers their correct change matters!! The other thing that annoyed me, and while I was ok with the outcome, I found the lack of asking problematic. I personally enjoy salt and vinegar on my chips however, I know a lot of people don't. When the staff member was serving the customer ahead of me he poured the batch of chips into the tray and asked the customer ahead if they wanted salt and vinegar to which they said yes, the staff member proceeded to dress the chips accordingly and served them. Then when it was my turn the staff member just bagged the remaining chips in the tray and gave them to me without asking if I wanted salt and vinegar or not. As I said, it made no difference as I personally like salt and vinegar however, many people don't and I found this to be unprofessional. I would suggest that the owner and staff need to review their business practices.
