The best restaurants

20/06/2025: Ordered in for delivery, the 2 pizzas came an hour late and were stone cold, the pizza dough was also raw and also the pizza we ordered wasn’t correct. We rang for a complaint and the girl on the other end rudely hung up the phone when we demanded a refund. Not happy atall and would not recommend and in future will not be ordering from this place ever again.

11/06/2025: Snowflake rude staff and the food isn't great. Better go to Lucianos just a minute away where the staff are friendly.

02/07/2025: Hair in my friends food, extremely dry chicken burger (not close to fresh) with barely any sauce. Got the exact same burger two days ago and it was lovely and juicy and this time it was old chicken that’s been left out all day as it seems.

29/06/2025: Stopped off at the diner which is one of the few fish and chip shops we have come across in the Cork area. We had carry out chips which were absolutely excellent . Freshly cooked and delicious. As regular holiday visitors we will be back.

11/03/2025: Rudest person serving. Asked what soup was on today and she just points to notice board. Other order for tomato and cheese toastie, she says ‘On’… bringing food to tables and she walks through people queuing without as much as an ‘excuse me’. Manager needs to have a good chat with this person. Younger staff were much more friendly with customers.

21/01/2025: I was there at lunch time today. I ordered a roll. I eat the same one in obriens liffey valley all the time, they even know what I order before I go up . Today in manor Mills the girl was confused when I asked for my roll anyway, it was completely stale like as if it was sat there days. When I brought it back and told the girl it was stale she replied "yeah but you didn't want it toasted" so I mentioned no I wanted a fresh roll and this was really stale like REALLY stale. She said again "yeah but you said you didn't want it toasted". So in order to not have a stale roll it had to be toasted. Not the standards of obriens I'd be used to, I always eat I'm liffey v or the jervis as I'm an autistic creature of habit so i know this is bad standards. I then ordered a blt as the woman wasn't impressed that I didn't want to eat my stale roll and she could of fixed it by toasting it. Anyway, my blt was made fresh... on stale bread I could of broke my tooth!

30/06/2025: At the till, there was no question about membership in kildare Village, and membership gives 10% discount, so it should be asked before processing payment to all customer. I needed to ask if they accept the membership and she told me I should have said it to her beforehand to get the discount and that its now too late. Staff should be train basic customer service because not all customer will be aware of this discounts.

19/01/2025: Dinner at the Hardyman Hotel in Galway was underwhelming. The dining room lacked atmosphere, with cheap furniture, plastic plants, and unused tables giving it a storage-room feel. While the staff were friendly, slow service and poor training let them down. The food was good, but the space doesn’t match the charm of the hotel. A missed opportunity in an otherwise lovely setting.

19/11/2024: Tuvimos la desgracia de ir a este restaurante el fin de semana pasado, simplemente deberíamos haber girado y salir después de nuestra 1 calle unos minutos, ya que podíamos ver claramente a dónde iban las cosas. Estuvimos de pie durante 4 minutos con 4 o 5 empleados entrando y saliendo y ninguno de ellos reconoció que estábamos de pie allí. Cuando finalmente nos sentamos (estuvimos reservados durante semanas) nos dieron menús y nos dejaron 20 minutos antes de que nos pidieran incluso una orden de bebidas. Solo había otras 3 mesas sentadas en la noche y un muchacho en una de ellas tuvo que subir y obtener menús 3 veces ya que el personal seguía jugando con ellos. Las apuestas eran deliciosas, por lo tanto las 2 estrellas, pero todo lo demás estaba muy por debajo de la par para un llamado restaurante 4 ☆. Incluso el pudín salió quemado y la roulade apenas se veía en los platos que eran tan pequeños. Nos sentimos muy decepcionados e insultados por nuestra experiencia.

10/05/2025: Barely edible chicken burger. Ordered the deal with drink and asked for garlic mayo. Received only the burger...no chips ordered at the time despite pointing to sign for meal deal. No prices on wall everything is 88.88 Will never darken their door again.

29/01/2025: Don't waste your time. The kebab I ordered was smaller than a petrol station wrap, barely any salad or sauce. Taco chips weren't homemade, just regular fries with barely any toppings. Embarrassing.

12/06/2024: Loved this place! Reminded me of Steak & Shake in the states. Food was close to American but just different enough to let you know you're in Ireland! Would definitely visit again if I ever get back to Galway.

11/06/2025: Their food is absolutely delicious! Very well prepared and consistently good! We've tried everything on the menu. The vegan options are just out of this world! Soo much flavor and their sauce/ gravy is to die for! Delivery is also super fast! Not a month goes by without ordering from here! Highly recommend it!

15/03/2025: Very rude waitress brought out the wrong food and was very rude and dismissive when we told her the food was wrong. Will not be returning until they change the rude staff member. My friend has been very poorly since eating at the restaurant. Don't go to this place awful staff and food makes you ill

08/03/2025: Happy to discriminate We went to dine in Feast today as we heard a lot of good things about it Unfortunately the owner doesn’t seem to understand the legalities of service dogs and is happy to discriminate and ironically for somebody working in hospitality was most inhospitable We went in and sat down as far as the way from the kitchen as we could as it was an open kitchen and understand that food hygiene is very important to most proprietors A lady came over and told us we would not be served as dogs are not allowed. I explained to the lady that the dog in question was actually a service dog and had the cert to confirm the same I asked the matter to be escalated as the waitress wasn’t getting the in subtle difference between a dog and service dog and I have never been denied service to a restaurant once they understand the situation The owner came over and was immediately very defensive. She claimed I was being rude but clearly she was flustered and just did not understand the legislation. I gave her the example of a guide dog coming in and would she withhold service and her answer was no but the parallels seemed to be lost on her when I pointed out and asked her what the difference was to which she had no answer but became intent on just getting us out and holding her position rather than realising the error of her position. What annoyed me as much was the owners claim of me being rude when I was merely pointing out what she was saying was incorrect and I was trying to be sure she was clear it was a service dog. I never once raised my voice, never once cut her off when she was speaking she was handling the situation poorly and then just threw out insults I am acutely aware of the importance of kitchen hygiene, which she tried to hide behind but given we were sat at the furthest point away from the kitchen it was a moot point on her part. I have also eaten in restaurants with open kitchens with our service dog and it wasn’t an issue It was a very awkward situation and very embarrassing I would never go back nor recommend the restaurant due to the owners position of seemingly being comfortable to discriminate against people with disabilities I take no joy in witting such a review and maybe the owner was having a bad day but the treatment we received was nothing short of a disgrace

12/06/2025: We had a lovely lunch at the Lough Avoul Inn, we ordered the lobster and it was delicious! It was caught locally in Glengarriff and was so fresh and cooked beautifully, and was dressed with an exceptional sauce. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome.

01/06/2025: Good food but management were so rude & distespectful to staff in front of customers. 'How many times do I have to tell you' was one of the comments made to the waiter when he asked the owner to repeat an order to him. Would not go back for this reason alone.

21/04/2025: Fix your opening hours. Google and your own app says you're open at 6.30 on weekdays, you are not. Twice I visited at this time and you were closed. One of those times I had ordered and PAID via the app before visiting. Yesterday (20/04) i went at 10am and you were closed. Your app and Google says you were open from 8.30. Unacceptable.

26/05/2025: I enjoyed the delicious all day breakfast with a cup of coffee and toast, the portions were generous, the service was lovely and the value was excellent

07/05/2025: Absolutely vile chips weren’t fully cooked asked for a tub of curry and it was filled up a quarter of the way and the sausages wernt even bartered properly very rude staff iswell
