07/04/2025: i told the chef to give me more chicken and he told me to have a straightener ouside in the dunnes stores parking lot as we went to have a straightner and he sparked up some zaza and thew a chicken ball at me his name was lukas p he needs to be sacked asap pls x

15/03/2025: Chicken balls taste absolutely vile, taste like fish, horrible texture Chips are tiny

18/03/2025: Brutal. No service at all and zero delivery. Waited 1.5 hours for nothing...avoid and spend your money elsewhere. They even had the cheek to charge me for zero order.

24/02/2025: Home delivery order that arrived super punctual. The food was well cooked and the portions were a good size.

22/02/2025: First time ordering and will be the last, ordered pizza and fries which took ages to arrive and both were cold, pizza tasted stale like it had been reheated. Never again, waste of money.

31/01/2025: Food is muck honestly worst pizza in Tallaght. Don't waste your money on this place.

07/01/2025: Used to really love ordering from here a few years ago but I don’t know if it was bought by someone else or change of management I’m not sure but it’s been terrible since, so stingy with toppings I’ve had to order pizzas with extra to make it somewhat normal. sides are either cold or burnt never right, honestly not going to waste my money in here anymore

31/12/2024: I found a piece of metal, like a staple from a cardboard box, as a topping on my pizza. See pictures attached. I called them and they wouldn't give me my money back but said they could do another pizza for me - I don't know how this would be OK especially as I made it clear I was worried about consuming any food from this place. I eventually got through to Four Star head office who returned my money but this branch and their management/customer service is a joke - let alone their food safety standards.

11/12/2024: I order two meal deals but only received one portion of chips when I tried ringing to rectify their mistake nobody answered the phone I must have rang 4 or 5 times

02/11/2024: Ordered online and was told food would be ready at 16:16. Drove from my house in Ardee only to be told we don’t open till 5 yet online it’s says yous open at 3. Very disappointing and it’s clear service has gone down in the past few years.

29/10/2024: AVOID WORKING HERE !! I can speak as an employee as opposed to a customer. Was working as a delivery driver here for an evening. I was the only driver for what is famously known as a busy bank holiday weekend for deliveries (other restaurants plan ahead and normally have 3-4 drivers on these type of weekends). They were very rude, constantly complaining badgering me during a very busy evening and was also sworn at by the chef, which was very disheartening as I was trying my best as the only driver to get all the deliveries out as fast as possible. Treat your employees with respect first and naturally service will get better !!

28/10/2024: I had used this place a lot. I had a €25 voucher and ordered a meal. After 1.5 hours I eventually got through on the phone to be told the delivery car had broken down. No message. Nothing. I might get the food in 45 minutes. I asked for my money back. Absolutely useless service. Avoid

02/02/2025: Waited an hour and half and no sign of delivery I rang them back told me have to wait another half hour

23/02/2025: Unfortunately the one good thing they did the dry and spicy bag which had plenty of chicken now has plenty of stringy chicken which is mostly batter and completely overseasoned. How this place has multiple locations is beyond me. Durt

02/02/2025: I’ve ordered from Summer Inn multiple times, and overall, it has been a good experience but not the best. The food has a truly authentic Chinese taste, and the quality is consistently good. Some of my favorites include the Kung Pao Chicken with Fried Rice, the Spice Bag, and the Singapore Noodles, each dish is packed with great flavors and well-prepared. That said, I’ve found that I don’t always enjoy certain raw-tasting chicken flavors in some curry dishes, so I’ve switched to crispy chicken options such as garlic crispy chicken, which have been much more enjoyable. One downside is that delivery can be a bit delayed at times, which might affect the freshness and taste of the food. Despite that, Summer Inn remains one of my go-to spots for Chinese food in Palmerstown. Definitely worth trying, especially if you enjoy crispy chicken dishes!

24/10/2024: Me and my day service went to subway today on the 24/10/24 and the service here was appalling the staff were very rude , no customer service one guy working there was rude to my friend and other customers , key worker got hot chocolate it was poor and lumpy, milk was out of date , absolutely terrible never coming here again.

29/03/2025: The place is an absolute mess. Kids seats are dirtier than the floor, tables are very sticky same as the floor. They never have paper to print your order and they never clear the screen from the completed and collected orders so you don’t know if your order is ready unless you stay next to the countertop and wait for them to shout your order number. This is a disgrace for the fast food industry. We will definitely call the consumer protection and HSE on this place!

26/03/2025: Only writing a review here as uber eats unfortunately doesn’t give you the option to write one. Ordered the new Minecraft nuggets meals, some burgers and a mcflurry. The food arrived more or less on time, yet it was somehow all cold to the touch. The little boxes you get with the free Minecraft toy inside had clearly been tampered with as both boxes were ripped. One of the burgers had so much sauce it was basically inedible, as it was soggy and almost falling apart. The other one had sauce spilling out of it and looked as though someone had smashed it down with something heavy because it was incredibly flat. The mcflurry was halfway melted when it arrived and only for the fact it was put in the freezer straight away upon arriving it would’ve been inedible. Really unhappy with this order as this was supposed to be our dinner for tonight; Keep in mind this particular restaurant is no more than a 5 minute drive away. Honestly one of the only upsides is that our delivery driver was an absolute gem, was super quick with arriving and very polite.

16/03/2025: I live in Kilkenny and choose Langtons for breakfast with a few family members for a catch up we arrived and were seated at 10 45 am Saturday 15th March 2025, a lovely waitress came to our table we gave in our order,Tea and Toast arrived very quickly but from their the wait began,at 11:35 2 Raw (fried ?) Eggs were handed to one family member, so by that time the toast and tea was cold,,2 breakfast called the Works was what we could only describe as inedible,followed by scrambled egg which was cold and sat on a slice of bread which made the bread so wet and cold it was awful to say someone would be expected to butter let alone eat a sloppy slice of bread, next was steak and 2 poached eggs by this stage we called over the waitress and showed her the 2 poached Eggs were truly and utterly raw ,we did point out politely the rest of our foods cold potatoes cubes , burnt sausages ,bacon slices were like rubber and full of grease, black an white pudding was rock solid over cooked ,the waitress apologised and informed us that we would not be charged for the steak and raw eggs,the list is endless, over all this was a very disappointing experience from a place that I always highly recommended to family and visiting friends but sadly I won't be recommending Langtons food to family/ visitors again. Might I add the waitresses were lovely...From a very disappointed customer..

15/03/2025: Went into the tea rooms this morning quarter to 11 got tea and toast straight away. Waited to 25 to 12 to have a breakfast served to us on which I got 2 eggs. One wasn't even cooked my friend got a steak breakfast, the the egg was absolutely raw. It was disgusting. How could you serve people with this food? 2 of my friends got a fry . The bacon was like a cardboard. The egg wasn't even cooked. The black pudding was disgraceful. Went to pay the bill. They did not charge us for the steak. Breakfast as the egg was disgusting, but they still charged as we left the tea rooms hungry. We are locally people will never eat there again horrible experience.

19/02/2025: The meat and the wrap itself are top class but boys…the salad is terrible. Fix that and you’ll get 5 stars. Tabbouleh belongs on a kebab…you don’t even offer it as an option.
