The best restaurants

30/12/2024: I ordered from Dino’s Grange last night, and it was a very disappointing experience. This is my first Google review, which says a lot about how poor the food was. The fish burger consisted of two small pieces of fish, mostly batter with barely any actual fish inside. The fish in the fish supper was similarly disappointing—tiny and again mostly batter. The curry sauce was bland and lacked flavor, and the chips were not fresh but clearly frozen. The only positive aspects were the potato pie and the friendly staff, which is the only reason I’m giving this review 1 star. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to Dino’s takeaway.

13/12/2024: Really went downhill. Chips arnt good / cold. Peas are rock hard. No sausages , no fish available. TINY portions. “ large chips” are now small

03/01/2025: Always a tasty and reliable takeaway. Good selection of dishes. Quick service. Good price. Favourite Chinese in Midleton.

21/11/2024: Food was tastleless and the women at the front desk was very ignorant and in no way helpful. Also demand cash over the phone yet had a card machine we could use. Stay clear!

30/10/2024: Restaurant is in a great location and for the area, the prices are relative. Pretty, modern and well kept. Staff aren’t so attentive or easy to communicate with, nonetheless polite and friendly. Food was okay - well presented and served hot. The naan was great but curry itself was average. Appreciated the complimentary chocolate. €200 for 6 people without starters. Don’t think I’d go back.

14/09/2024: Unreliable, third rate service and unprofessional are just three descriptions I have for Spice delivery service. Lied to on three occasions as to when food was finally to be leaving the restaurant. Over one hour late. It could have been two hours late if I had not contacted them myself. They put the phone down on me while discussing the late delivery with the manager. I will never eat at/from this place again. Ritu the other curry place in Carrigaline is far superior all round.

11/01/2025: Lovely traditional Irish pub with the benefit of excellent food. Perfect for meal and/or drink after a walk. Coffee is good also.

28/10/2024: Establishments in Kerry are normally very friendly and happy to welcome customers, this was not the case today in this bar. The rudeness was awful to paying customers in this day and age. Would never go back again. Shame because it is a lovely bar and nice food.

12/11/2024: Delivery arrived after 1 hour 30 mins and cold. Called to complain and was challenged on time it took to arrive (told it was ordered 30 mins prior only - had to share the time stamp from Revolut!). Then lady on phone half accused me of trying to get free food etc. regular order previously but won’t again, terrible service.

01/01/2025: This is terrible service I ordered at 1:45 and they keep updating on just eat that it will be delayed and won’t arrive till 3:30 this is ridiculous

27/12/2024: Says open til 10pm but at 9:15 the guy says it’s closed

29/09/2024: This place has excellent food , only flaw is that the curry sauce that comes with the spice box is very small, least give option to upgrade to bigger container 🙏

21/08/2024: I am so pleasantly surprised!!! I always went to the other Chinese as it looks better had better reviews but woman in the big restaurant on the corner was so rude I’m not planning on going back there. So here I came and was delicious!! The best won ton soup I had very aromatic so very happy with that rest of the food delicious too!!! Defo best Chinese on Donabate!! And so cheap!!

26/08/2024: 5th time at The Grill, never disappoints, we were collecting for 8 of us to take back to our holiday home. Everyone was starving, and everyone was absolutely over the moon. 4 amazing fresh, and lovely battered fish and chips. 4 burger and chips, that I finished the last quarter of one were as good as we have had in some of the top places in central London. Mary and Breda were lovely, telling us all about what was going on, and where to go. Chef/Captain David loved telling us about how the fish were caught (didn’t ask about the beef) Seen a couple of bad reviews, not sure about that, we ate here 3 times over our month here. And honestly got better each time. Until the next time.

21/08/2024: Always ensure I take a visit here for at least one takeaway family dinner after being on the beach all day. This year, we had 3 suppers after the beach, and each one got better and better. Everyone wanted a mix, kids had burgers, adults had fish - all bloody superb. Only complaint, we were all too full!! Mary and I think Breda were lovely, telling us all about what was going on. Hope to enjoy very soon

12/08/2024: Someone fro Mizzoni's came to our house and yelled at us for giving the restaurant a bad review for a pasta dish we never ordered. We have not ordered ANYTHING from Mizzonis in 5 years, ever since we had a realy bad pizza from them.

25/07/2024: Pizza was delicious and the place was really clean and neat.

02/01/2025: The cheapest place to satisfy your mild hunger in the center of Waterford. But for the price you will sacrifice quality. It takes time to find a free table; self-service terminals either do not accept card payments, or do not give a receipt, or do not work at all. Sometimes it's downright dirty here (like today), and sometimes it's super dirty. If there are many items in the order, check the availability of everything right at the checkout; several times I came across a situation where the staff mistakenly missed something. My coffee and pie were cold today.

20/12/2024: Not a bad Mac, but very busy often and little space to sit, that's a problem.

10/01/2025: My experience was satisfactory. It was 3 AM and the place seemed quiet. I've ordered Big Mac, seasonal pie with chocolate and orange filling and toffee latte. Got my order after about 10-12 minutes. Not bad. If all of the sudden you get hungry over night, I recommend this place to provide a relief.

04/01/2025: McScammers!!ORDER1717 Can we have a poll, which McDonald's is the worst in Ireland?? Most of them have horrible reviews. Why?? - I was driving through Maynooth, the child being hungry with the glimpse of the big M signage - went in to the drive through and ordered 2x McSpicy Burgers, "9 Chicken SELECTS+1 Dip" - Paid in full! simple enough!! Collected the order, drove about 1KM, and child complaints. I wanted SELECTS. These are NUGGETS! Went back, checked the bag - no sign of any receipts!!! Dodgy!! Asked one of the ladies about my order. She went defensive and started telling me that there is no such thing as "9 Chicken Selects"., "Its very expensive"- "blah blah!!" I have paid in full, I want what I paid for. Then came one more person to confirm, finally received the Chicken Selects as ordered and also the reciept!!! Point to note: 9 Chicken Nuggets cost: 6.65e 9 Chicken Selects cost: 15.50e Nearly SCAMMED for 8.85e!! Customers beware!! Check before you leave the drive through!! Best Part - Not "1 Sorry or apology for the messup"

10/11/2024: Food is great here but customer service is awful !! Lady on the phone is extremely rude! Recently ordered off just eat and my order was cancelled, I rang and was told "too far". when I queried why they have this range set up on just eat she became hostile and told me to "contact just eat" when I was about to ask for my order for collection she hung up on me

19/10/2024: Food is great and ready quickly. I find the staff to be rude in general. They are not pleasant to deal with. I try to order online as much as I can. No dine in available.

18/01/2025: Great place if you like surprises, you never know what you’re going to get, not much point of them asking you what you’d like to order

11/01/2025: Ordered an iced latte through the drive through today. The milk had obviously gone bad or the machine was not properly maintained as the iced latte was slimy and the texture was off. I ended up throwing it down the drain. Disgusting experience.
