The best restaurants

11/11/2024: Nipped in quickly for a drink and a choc chip cookie. Their service was really quick, so quick in fact that before I had even put my choc chip cookie away in my bag, my drink was ready. There were friendly ladies at the counter. The place was clean and tidy too.

10/10/2024: I am (was, now) a regular customer of Starbucks. Really needed the toilet but was refused due to their customer only policy. I can understand why they need to do it but I was by myself and didn't exactly look like I was going to cause trouble or leave the place filthy. A little mercy goes a long way! I'll never purchase anything from them again.

18/12/2024: Do not count on these guys. Its a gamble. Service and quality was much better at first but has gone way downhill. You might get a good day but you might get them on a bad day and they give 0 efs on a bad day. Today they took my money but didn't deliver because of a "technical issue" leaving them without access to YOYO the online ordering portal. When i called to find out the problem and reorder food i was told "no, maybe tomorrow" in the past ive been Left waiting hours for food that may or may not even arrive. Disappointing.

20/11/2024: Worst food I've eaten in a long time. Way too much cheese on the pizza and no need for rosemary on the garlic bread. I'm sorry to have to write a negative review but this was honestly just not enjoyable at all.

21/12/2024: Ordered a Munchy box everything is dry not worth the money

21/12/2024: Curry triangles were empty, littered in salt . The chicken in my 4in1 was rank.. went in the bin.. wasn't enough curry sauce in the 4in1 or 3in1... Shredded chicken was bland with very little veg. Cost 35 quid for pure dirt. Most went in the bin . Can of coke was nice tho ..don't order here

06/01/2025: Great chipper. One of the best chippers in drogheda. Definitely gets bonus points for having good opening hours and being reasonably priced. The milkshakes are unreal also.

04/01/2025: Has to be a change if chef...ordered singapore noodles about 3 months ago and lovely, ordered again and average benefit of doubt...ordered yesterday and the noodles were swimming in grease, inedible...also ordered spicy chicken balls, ate the meat out of 4 and the picture shows the remainder....absolutely swimm8ng and disgusting....€26 , will never order from here again

19/09/2024: I lived opposite that pub in the 90s-00s, it was at 548 NCR, weekends were crazy in that area. The waiters are very good, professional. Greetings

02/11/2024: Food absolutely terrible, quality of food very bad 👎 food served cold well below temperature should never be served to people guaranteed to get food poisoning. I personally went to Ferraris takeaway to collect my food can't blame delivery guys for this one, I went back with the food manager didn't know what temperature food should be served all she could say we are busy, please don't use this as a excuse for serving cold food. I will be going further with this. Jacinta.

15/11/2024: Hillbilly's Mahon Point you do the name a service, taco fries on point here and as good as the Fermoy branch in Inver , crunchy chips generous portion fresh mince and cheese, doing Cork proud🙏

22/09/2024: I've had no problems until a lot of it has changed cause this place cannot be found on just eat and when you go through the link it's closed aparently they have an app now but that can't be found amd honestly you do be waiting quite a while to get through to them on the phone but in person service is absolutely fantastic but I really hope they get the these problems fixed soon

01/12/2024: My partner and I regularly visit The Burger Project to enjoy their delicious burgers and pizzas. The food and service are usually excellent, but unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience with a female staff member this evening. We placed an order for a burger and were informed by her that we would be notified when it was ready. Typically, they provide a device that alerts customers when their order is ready, but on this occasion, we were not given one. We proceeded to sit down at a table area, where there is always some music on. After a while, this lady approached us and rather abruptly shouted that she had called out our number three times and left before we could say anything. My partner went to the counter to collect our order and attempted to explain that the music was quite loud, making it difficult for us to hear her calls. However, she turned her back to him and disregarded his explanation. After finishing our meal, I approached the counter to inquire about her name, but she declined to provide it, citing that she was not permitted to do so. I expressed my dissatisfaction with her behaviour and emphasized that her treatment of us was impolite and unacceptable. Considering that she was the sole female employee working that evening, I believe it should not be challenging to identify her and address the issue of appropriate customer service with her.

29/10/2024: Brilliant, the little thing that buzzes when your food is ready is so clever. The cheese and bacon chips were delicious, and only €5.90. I recommend it.

23/11/2024: I've been in here three times in the last two weeks and I've had the same experience every time, so it seems fairly consistent enough to warrant a review. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the horrible atmosphere inside the shop. You can feel then tension in the air, the way staff talk to eachother, and just the general work ethic of staff. The staff just seem so uninterested in serving you, and do so as if you're a burden to them. I know things get tense when it's hectic but at the times I've been in, there's only been 2-3 people in the store. All three times I've ordered a different sandwich and they were made incorrectly every time toppings/sauces left off, salads forgotten, etc. I ordered takeaway so this was only discovered once I got back to work. The staff don't even seem to know what they're making, constantly looking back at the menu to see what's supposed to be on the sandwiches (and still managing to make them incorrectly.) There are plenty of other options close by that would be much more welcoming and deserving of the custom. Better management is needed if this store wants to improve.

10/10/2024: Called to let restaurant know that the spicebags were going downhill a bit. Far too much onion, literally only 2 tiny pieces of green pepper & no spicebag flavour, just onion flavour. The lovely girl on the phone asked chefs about it, and I heard them all start screaming at her in Chinese. I felt so bad for her. They sounded so angry, it was frightening. I don't think I'll order from here again. I understand that spicebags aren't actually Chinese and the chefs may have seen it as unnecessary or silly but they screamed at that poor girl who did the phones. All because THEY let their standards slip.
