The best restaurants

17/03/2026: Visited KOI for the first time last week and was really impressed with everything, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the service and especially the food, this is a great restaurant and definitely the best Chinese food in Bray, I've already recommended it to several people and I will definitely be back myself very soon, fab 👌

02/03/2026: Encouraged by good reviews, I decided to visit the restaurant. it was Sunday afternoon, When my family and I went to the restaurant, there were only two tables occupied, I thought the waiting time would be quick for the three dishes we ordered. To my surprise, we waited 55 minutes for the food we ordered, the rice in the dishes was definitely reheated, it was rice cooked at least on Friday or Saturday, my child who loves rice, unfortunately after trying two or three spoons he didn't want to eat it unfortunately the chicken in sauce that we ordered was not the freshest either, after two hours we were all sick.

21/12/2025: Not a place I would visit again staff dreadful could not care less about customers more interested in chatting to other staff not helpful only short of sleeping on till 😴 need a good manager

16/06/2026: A review like this just won’t do Renvyle justice. I have been coming for over twenty years for holidays, spending time with family and some great weddings. Firstly, the setting is stunning. When you leave Galway city behind and drive out through Connemara, you feel yourself switch off and start to relax. Secondly, the staff are second to none. They run a brilliant hotel and they are a large part of its success. Thirdly, the food is delicious. It’s consistently always been excellent and there are options for all appetites and palates! Dog friendly as well for those with a four legged friends. I always love my stays there, and I always love going back. Renvyle holds a lot of special memories from over the years and it’s a place I’m incredibly fond of.

08/03/2026: Me and my wife were treated like royalty by Brid (co-owner) . The meal was amazing, portions were just perfect, the choices on menu were adventurous, we both were full leaving together with a lovely bottle of wine / baileys coffee consumed and the company was amazing also. We had the pleasure of chatting to Gareth after our meal(head chef and co-owner). Lovely people and so down to earth. Guys if want to treat your loved ones to a great night I would recommend Campagne 1 million percent. We will be back definitely. Alan

28/03/2026: So fab! Brought my granny last Sunday and everything was amazing. Beef ribs and the chocolate dessert were absolutely delicious. Service and everything was lovely - bathrooms were gorgeous! Owners were lovely, will be back

22/05/2026: Went here after hearing great things. Wish I hadn't. Bought a spice bag for my daughter, sorry a tray/they don't do bags, I now know why!!! Ordered her a small one, and by christ was it. Served in a small bag inside a small rice tray, about 4 pieces of chicken with a handful of chips thrown in. An absolute rip off at €9. Won't darken there door again. Fork in pic so you can grasp the scale of the tray. How are they getting away with this. Its bleeding disgraceful

17/05/2026: Spicy Long tray with satay sauce, it was perfect, served in three minutes, so fast.

29/12/2025: As Italians, we loved this pizza! Congratulations. The only shame is that they aren't very well equipped to accommodate on-site dining.

20/05/2026: A grand hotel, except we were so disappointed when myself and my wife and our adult son arrived back from a show around midnight and were refused a night cap drink in the bar by a very ignorant bar man who informed us that we could order a drink in the hotel lobby but we would have to wait 30 minutes. Then the girl at reception told us we could only order drinks from our room. We did so and our drinks arrived in 15 minutes and paid the exorbitant price of 42 euros for 2 whiskeys and a pint of Guinness. I should say it left a bitter taste in my mouth about the staff and service in this hotel.☹️

19/05/2026: We had an excellent stay. The staff on reception were fantastic and very friendly. The room was fantastic. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the house burger. Staff in the bar/restaurant were fantastic and very friendly. Breakfast had a wide selection and food was fantastic. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Highly recommend The Talbot for a fabulous stay.

02/05/2026: Excellent food and staff despite an extremely busy restaurant they managed to fit us into a window perfectly. The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable about the menu and its contents. The food was excellent and overall 5 star experience

06/05/2026: The food at Layla's Rooftop Restaurant is very good, with Italian dishes that are well prepared and full of flavour. As French/Italian people previously living in Paris and used to elevated dining experiences, we were however a bit disappointed by the service, which sometimes felt somewhat pedantic rather than genuinely warm and refined. Considering the price of dishes, this should definitely be addressed, as premium should never rhyme with pretentiousness.
