20/04/2026: It has a wonderful "home kitchen" feel, and the decor is absolutely beautiful very clean and comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The vegan dishes are so good. They are so flavorful and unique. I initially thought it might be overpriced since it's located near a tourist attraction, but the prices were actually very reasonable. Highly recommend this cozy spot!

19/04/2026: I had the pleasure of visiting this cafe in 2024 while on a trip, and I was thrilled with the entire experience! The location is stunning, the atmosphere was everything I could ask for! I am not a fan of raspberry anything, but the Raspberry cake that I had here was absolutely delectable! Paired with a fresh Guinness and a local island pup to keep me company was everything I needed to experience to know that this will be my first stop next time I visit the island.

11/06/2026: We stopped in on our honeymoon for a quick pint and the service was great, gave amazing recommendations for tourists (and a good pour!)

04/06/2026: Best whiskey collection and very knowledgeable owner ! If you like whiskey and want to learn more or try great whiskeys you must go !(According to my hubby.) I’m not a whiskey drinker. LOL. And they have gin and tonic too.

27/12/2025: I have been here two times now, and I must say I am truly not impressed. I very rarely come on to give bad reviews, but I feel like this place is a complete cop out and NOT WORTH the hype. The first time I came the food was amazing but the service was extremely slow, it took 15 minutes to get a basket of bread and about 30 minutes to get the bill. This overall was fine, but I could tell something was not fully right for the price paid. Today we went for brunch, and it was a disaster from start to finish. We ordered three dishes, one was fine but the other two both had poached eggs that were completely hard inside, essential hard boiled eggs. Also both dishes were served ice cold. We asked if they could be returned, and asked the waiter is this how it’s meant to be served and he said absolutely not. The dishes went back, and ten minutes later they came back out looking completely different somehow and with different ingredients, but the eggs came out THE EXACT SAME. Even the waiter looked at the eggs and was embarrassed but I said I don’t want to send it back as I was just done with the whole thing at that stage. We ordered pancakes which we asked to follow our main dishes, which came 20 minutes after we finished these dishes. The bill then came and there was a Bloody Mary on it that we didn’t ask for, and they only gave us 40% on both the egg dishes which were clearly not cooked right. Personally, I believe that if a dish is sent back over something as simple as poached eggs being overcooked, it should be absolutely ESSENTIAL that the eggs are cooked close to perfect the second time. In my opinion, there is a clear lack of care and consideration in the kitchen. I will not be coming back, as I really feel like the price this restaurant charges does not reflect the service or passion shown from the kitchen. Note (the first photo was the first dish, and second is the second dish which l has different ingredients but still hard eggs)

18/05/2026: Came here almost every day on our holiday, absolute favourite ✨️ We triend diffthings on the menu, I really recommend the falafel wrap and the build your own bagel (also easiest option if you have any dietary restrictions)

11/05/2026: Good coffee and the place is so nice, but the staff, can’t say about all of them, are a little rude and don’t really care about making you feel comfortable. Although I had a great coffee I left there with a bitter taste

21/05/2026: The food is terrible and overpriced. We ordered prawn Pil Pil for 11 euros and served 5 small prawn swimming in the oil with no taste at all. My partner ordered a steak and was very small that can only be eaten in small bite. Patatas Bravas awful. All the food are frozen food served 5 minutes after ordered . Calamari is very rubbery and the smell from freezer. So overpriced paid 62 euros . The food is not worth the Price.wont be back again

21/05/2026: Exceeded my expectations! The gambas, chicken croquettes, and aubergine were exceptional, and the artichokes, albondigas, and sangria were good.

11/06/2026: Small intimate place where the food was delicious and the service was awesome. A short walk from Clontarf castle through a beautiful neighborhood. From here you can take a train the Howth and see the beautiful seaside.

07/05/2026: All staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. The bed in the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was great although I would have liked a better selection of the cooked meats and cheeses. I didn’t find the chairs in the lobby or library bar comfortable so we only had drinks in the bar once. We really enjoyed our stay here and already planning a return visit.

29/05/2026: The food was good but not amazing. I loved the quality of the dishes but I will say it took too long to come to our table. We were a party of 5 and it took around 30-35 minutes our food to arrive. The drinks we ordered were okay. I was expecting better for the coconut lemonade. I know it’s a tapas places and the food will be small dishes and the high quality but we were disappointed in how long it took to get to us.
