The best restaurants

23/02/2026: We were passing through the area around lunchtime and decided to stop by for something to eat. We noticed this place on the street and thought we'd give it a try. At first glance, it seemed quite old-fashioned in style. We took a seat and spoke with the staff who were lovely. The food was fantastic, there were quite a few locals dining in there as well—always a good sign—and the value for money was excellent. I’ll definitely go back if I pass through the area again, as the quality was top-notch. As I mentioned, it might not look like much from the outside, but once you sit down and have a meal, it’s a real hidden gem.

19/12/2025: Love this little hidden café near the Four Courts. Great coffee paired with genuinely friendly, efficient service. It’s a popular spot with the legal crowd, and it’s easy to see why — smooth, high-quality coffee, a lovely selection of pastries and light lunch options, and very reasonable prices. The space is airy and welcoming, with a charming nod to the building’s history (look for the old Medical Mission sign). A small place but well worth seeking out. ❤️🫶🏿

09/03/2026: Have ordered a goujon kebab from this place recently and it was the most tasteful thing which I’ve ever eaten.The nice amount of chicken,red onion,lettuce and sauce,everything in it is awesome.Some people may not like it because it’s spicy in the end but for me it’s perfect.Highly recommend this position

10/01/2026: ⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐ Absolutely Amazing Experience at Pizza Point! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently tried their pizza and WOW it was truly awesome! 🍕🔥 The dough was incredibly fresh and soft, and all the veggies and toppings tasted super fresh and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in their ingredients! And it’s not just the pizza you have to try their burgers, kababs, and the huge variety of meals they offer. 🍔🌯🍟 Everything is prepared with great care, rich taste, and top-quality freshness. 23/09/2025: Bovinity on Capel Street is a wonderful surprise as one of Dublin’s newer restaurants. The steaks are outstanding — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. What really makes the experience special is the way the menu blends Latin American and American barbecue traditions. You can enjoy a top-quality steak alongside a rich and creamy mac & cheese, all elevated with a beautifully made chimichurri, just like you’d find in Uruguay or Argentina. The service was excellent — attentive, warm, and professional — and the staff really added to the overall experience. To top it all off, their Italian wine selection pairs perfectly with the dishes, making the meal feel complete and indulgent. Bovinity is definitely a place I’d recommend for steak lovers looking for something a little different in Dublin, with a creative mix of flavors and a great atmosphere.

30/10/2025: Met a friend for dinner in Eaton, we had fish and chips, a glass of wine followed by a shared toffee pudding and ice cream. The food was excellent and the service was second to none. We will be back. Thank you.

In the heart of the Temple Bar neighborhood, the atmosphere was lively, music was superb, and Gabriella the bartender remembered us from the previous day and made us feel like “regulars”! Nice people serving up a fun time! 🍻 🇨🇦 🇮🇪

08/03/2026: Myself and my friend came up this evening we got foot long wraps I got chicken filet burgers sausages taco sauce and garlic sauce chips and cheese in my wrap all for €10 I would add picture but I ate it all lol nicest food by a long shot will be back again for sure thanks lads 10+++++ 100% recommend

15/03/2026: I visited this bar because it was recommended by an Irish friend. At first it looked like a nice place, but unfortunately the experience became disappointing. I ordered an Aperol Spritz for €13 and the glass was entirely filled with ice. Paying that price for what is mostly ice is already questionable. My second drink was made by a Brazilian bartender. I politely asked if he could use less ice and he made a very good Aperol Spritz. He was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, the third drink was made by the first bartender and it was terrible. It barely tasted like an Aperol Spritz and was basically sparkling water. When things became quieter, I politely asked if she could remake the drink because it clearly wasn’t right. She refused and said those were their measurements. She even said I didn’t have to pay for it, but that is not really the point. I would have preferred a properly made drink. An Aperol Spritz is one of the simplest cocktails to make and the classic recipe is well known: three parts Prosecco, two parts Aperol and one part soda water. What disappointed me most was the attitude. In a bar, especially one that presents itself as welcoming and social, friendliness and customer care should be part of the job. Fixing a bad drink should not be a problem. For my first time in Dublin this was unfortunately not a good experience and I would not recommend this bar. It is not about the price, it is about the quality and the service you receive. Ps: The Brazilian bartender who made my second drink was excellent and deserves recognition.

08/03/2026: I visited here last Saturday to be refused entry from the bouncer because there was a ‘private party’, I mean.. the whole place was booked out for a private party? Go on with yourself 😅 I must not look like a stereotypical lesbian (this appears to be a recurring theme judging from the other reviews!). I won’t come here again. Anyway, I was here before and it’s only ok.
