The Lime Tree
Tulfarris holiday village
07/06/2026: On behalf of the stones family.
We would like to thank the staff and management of the hotel for catering our large group of guests of over 40 people upstairs in the Fairways restaurant, a special mention needs to go to Olga the assistant restaurant manager who was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure that our large group had their drinks orders and food order taken, so a large thanks goes to her on behalf of the Stones family for managing a large group of us, the food was amazing too so a shoutout to the chef/chef’s for the food we enjoyed it very much.
Thank you to the staff and management of Tulfarris hotel & golf resort on behalf of the Stones family.
Alex Stones.
20/05/2026: Just back from a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Tulfarris. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful. We had a lovely bright room with balcony overlooking the golf course which was not expecting! The bathroom was huge and had extra large walk in shower. My skin is looking a lot better from a facial with Sandra which really made me relax and feel on holiday. The bar and restaurant can get quite busy and being open plan, the noise level was loud. Some sound absorption materials might help but otherwise the stay was perfect! We got greatest value for the hotel on Rorys Travel Club.

Coffey's Pastry Case
Carrick-on-shannon
29/07/2026: Nice coffee. Tasty cakes and friendly service from the staff... This coffee shop has the best views in the town from the upstairs regardless of the time of year. In the summertime, they have seats on the street. Overall, it's worth a visit.
25/07/2026: I had an exceptional experience at Coffey's Pastry Case! Everything felt really good, from the delicious food to the awesome service and atmosphere. Highly recommended

Oran Tandoori
Oranmore
21/07/2026: We ordered takeaway but the owners
/staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. Plenty of options on the menu at fair prices. Overall excellent!
13/06/2026: Visited Oran Tandoori in Oranmore and had a generally good experience. The restaurant is neat, tidy, and the staff are very customer-friendly.
The food overall was nice, and the onion bhajee was absolutely excellent! However, a few things to keep in mind:
The Veg Samosas: At €6.50 for two, they felt overpriced, especially since they seemed to be made with frozen vegetables.
The Indian Kolhapuri: A warning for fellow spice lovers! It says it's spicy on the menu, and as an Indian, I thought I could handle it—but it was on another level entirely. Proceed with caution!
No Chai: I was really looking forward to a nice Indian chai to finish the meal, but unfortunately, they don't serve it.
Overall, a good spot with great service, just be mindful of what you order!

Cliffs View Cafe
Liscannor
07/08/2026: A great experience to see the cliffs from the water. Be careful if you're prone to seasickness. It's quite rocky.
06/08/2026: Eventhough the view is great, and the paving is nice if your mobility is limited, do NOT go here if you're anything like me and enjoy a scenic hike! Not worth the money, there's more people than moher cliff. Just follow the trail from Doolin or Pollboy, from pollboy surfers path is actually still accesable and you can get an amazing view of the best part of the cliffs. The walk to doolin was also well worth it, can't say the same about the 15 euros i spent on this.

Bowes Ryan Restaurant
Limerick
04/07/2026: I’m a regular customer and have recommended this place to many of my family and friends. The staff are usually so friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, I did have one disappointing experience. When I asked for a takeaway cup because I hadn't finished my cappuccino yet, a staff member named Lisa was very rude to me. It was surprising because it was so different from the warm and friendly service I usually receive here. I hope this was just an isolated incident, as I truly enjoy coming to this café and would love for every customer to have the same positive experience I've had most of the time.
05/06/2026: Excellent customer service and great range of food. Michelle and Mary never fail to make me laugh when I'm there.

Coffee Works
Dublin
20/07/2026: Everyone should be careful when paying by card. The staff might quote one price, but when you press the button, the price displayed is different. For example, an iced matcha latte with vanilla cost €9.10 (I didn't notice the amount displayed on the machine and paid accordingly. Two days later, when I opened my account details page, I was surprised by the amount they had deducted from my account). I certainly didn't buy anything else.
28/06/2026: Really nice little coffee shop! The coffee was great, the pastries were fresh and so good, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. 🙌
The staff were lovely too. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a coffee and a pastry.🤭

Ramsbottoms
Portlaoise
01/07/2026: Great, lively, classic Irish pub!! We had a cousin reunion here when visiting from the States. Jack and Billy were wonderful accommodating our reservation requests. They even helped coordinate food being brought in for us. We really enjoyed our evening here and will definitely visit again when back in Ireland!
30/06/2026: I had my 21st birthday here this week, and the team at Rams was absolutely amazing! They truly made the night so special for us it was truly a night we will never forget. The venue itself is perfect – spacious and family-friendly. I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone!

Sugarloaf Cafe
14/12/2025: In the heart of Glengarriff lies a small café that instantly wins you over with its unpretentious warmth. The incredibly kind owner greets every guest with genuine friendliness and runs the place with a calm that's contagious.
Many consider the cappuccino the best around: creamy, aromatic, and carefully prepared. They also offer fresh breakfasts that are simple and delicious, and that's precisely why they're so good. And for those with a sweet tooth, there are homemade cakes that taste of freshly baked goods, craftsmanship, and time.
This makes the café a place you'll want to return to—for the coffee, the food, the lovely people, and above all, the atmosphere, which isn't contrived but simply there. We'll definitely be back. ❤️
In the heart of Glengarriff lies a small café that immediately wins you over with its unpretentious warmth. The incredibly kind owner greets every guest with genuine friendliness and runs the place with a calm that's infectious.
... The cappuccino is considered by many to be the best far and wide: creamy, aromatic, carefully prepared. In addition, there is a fresh breakfast that does not require any frills and is just that good. And if you like sweets, you will find homemade cakes that taste like cuisine, crafts and time.
This makes the café a place you like to return to - because of the coffee, the food, the loved ones and above all because of the atmosphere that cannot be staged, but is simply there. We are happy to come back.
13/12/2025: We stopped in glengarriff for some breakfast and checked out a few different spots that we saw on Google maps. A few of them were closed so it came down to Sugarloaf Cafe or the lough afoul inn. A quick look at the lough inn's prices made us slowly back away, and as we were doing so the owner came out and called out some incoherent ramblings about soup and breakfast in quite a confrontational way. This, needless to say, converted our backing away into a swift shuffle into Sugarloaf Cafe. Best decision of the day! The lovely, cozy, friendly atmosphere made our morning. The service and food were outstanding but the star of the experience was the warm and welcoming owner who had us smiling and laughing throughout our meal! Despite having 3 tables to serve when we were there, she made time to make conversation with everyone and made us all feel comfortable. Combined with the far more reasonable pricing than the establishment over the road and this experience confirmed 2 repeat customers. If you're looking for a friendly relaxing dining experience in glengarriff the Sugarloaf Cafe is a must try!
