The best restaurants

17/09/2026: Lovely restaurant and bar. Recommended by our tour guide . Had lunch - special was tandoori chicken with salad mashed potato mint coriander chutney . I had soup of the day and bread. The food was just awesome!! Amazing flavours! Highly recommended if you look for a flavour some lunch!

15/09/2026: Walked in on Tuesday at 6 pm. Table was available. Nice looking place. Good (same as everywhere in Ireland) selection of beers. Nice wine list. Ordered prawn starter,which was very good. Beef and guiness stew for a main. Really good. Had it with chips and they where very good. Staff where fine, but a bit transactional. No chatting, small talk etc. The menu has some amazing sounding dishes, and based on what I had, it's very well made. But the prices are a bit out of touch. I get it for a tourist town, but lobster for 50 euro for the first 500 grams, the an upcharge beyond that is silly.

17/09/2026: Our waitress Ashina was absolutely amazing! So kind, fast and beautiful! The food is fresh and has real good portions!

09/08/2026: Disappointing. Food quality is not up to standard, black rice was burn with no flavour, worst patatas bravas I had, they were raw and only had mayonnaise. Service is also lacking as they didn’t fill our water during the whole night.

29/06/2026: I had a wonderful meal last evening. The staff were excellent — friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. The food was absolutely top‑class, full of flavour and great portions. Prices were very reasonable for the quality you get. A brilliant experience from start to finish. Staff, food, and price all 💯.

14/06/2026: Came back to this great eating pub after 6 years, really friendly welcome,had onion rings for starters and huge sirloin steaks cooked rare for main, the onion rings were really freshly cooked,hot and crispy and the steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted great,one of the best steaks I have had in a long time, all the staff are helpful and friendly and I can't recommend this place enough,it does get busy at peak evening times but they turn the tables round really quickly, not the cheapest meal but so worth it.

03/09/2026: Service is shocking. Workers are the rudest people on the earth. Food is nice but unfortunately the absolute disgraceful behaviour from the workers led us to leave and cancel the order. Very disappointed as this has been an ongoing issue in The Seven.

19/09/2026: The food is served pipping hot, the menu is creative (try the panko pickles), and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable (merci Sam !). A solid choice when you crave good quality burgers and wings.

26/09/2026: Lovely food, friendly staff, comfortable seating. Got the chicken korma, half of it was just chicken, lovely and soft, with plenty of moisture inside. The naan bread that came with it was delicious, nice and soft as well. It also came with mango chutney and rice. The staff were lovely. I came in without a reservation and saw the sign, but I asked in case, and they managed to squeeze me in.

20/09/2026: Dined there with friends Saturday evening 19.09.2026. Absolutely fantastic food, lovely courteous staff, a great atmosphere there and the place is spotlessly clean too. I have booked again for November and really looking forward to going back there. Great place and highly recommend it.

26/08/2026: This was such a cool little Diner. I loved all the quirkyness of it.it was realy different. And our robot server was realy cool too. We had breakfast here and it was delicious.

15/08/2026: Nice food, but I found it a bit expensive and the portion size wasn’t exactly huge. 5euro for a pint of water is like something you’d see in Italy or France. Friendly staff.

11/08/2026: I visited early August with my husband, our toddler and my mother-in-law, and I’m so glad we decided to give it another try after not having been in years. I ordered the roast special of the day, which was lamb shank, and it was a huge portion! I struggled to finish it, but it was absolutely delicious. The gravy in particular was divine, and I always think you can tell a lot about a restaurant by its gravy 😂. This one definitely passed my test! The others had fish and chips, which I of course had to sample too, and they were very tasty. The service was quick and friendly, and I really liked the atmosphere. It’s a lovely, smaller restaurant, and the noise levels were low enough that we could comfortably enjoy a conversation while eating, which is always a bonus when dining with family. Overall, we were really happy with our meal and the experience. I’d absolutely recommend Bayleaf Bistro and would happily return.

29/08/2026: Galloping green coffee was great, and the barista was nice and quick at making drinks. Would order again. The person who was working there at 2:30 pm on Saturday 29th August.

28/08/2026: I have to say, I absolutely love this place! It’s become a real special Friday treat for me to go a little out of my way just to grab a coffee here. The staff are always so friendly, chatty and welcoming. I especially love when there’s no queue because I get a chance to have a little chat with the girl behind the counter, who is always so jolly, cheerful and happy. It genuinely puts you in good form for the day! And, of course, the coffee is absolutely lovely too. ☕️ I really, really recommend this place. If you’re travelling along the N11 and passing the old Galloping Green, do yourself a favour — stop in and grab a coffee. A lovely little Friday treat! 😊

29/08/2026: ABSOLUTELY GREAT are the words that best describe “Hug a Mug Cafe’s” outstanding service, food, coffee, cakes and good cheer. As a tourist who has traveled all over Ireland and beyond, Hug a Mug Cafe ranks in my book as the friendliest and best place to enjoy a meal and a most wonderful atmosphere of welcome and hospitality. Another thing that makes them special is how welcoming they are to children. You won’t find a better place to be. It’s worth the drive (or stroll) - no matter how far. I look forward to a return visit with my family. The sooner the better.

29/08/2026: The best chocolate brownie in Ireland!! Just perfect. The chicken wraps were great too , and finally found a pleasant cup of cappuccino that does not numb the tongue with bitterness. Great place , good ambiance in a rather laid back street off Wicklow (laidback compared to Dublin downtown). Highly recommend you stop here for a good bite .

05/09/2026: Chicken was inedible, tough and smelled, we threw most of the order out. There was far too much veg compared to chicken in the main dish.

20/08/2026: I recently visited Camilo Thai Food, and I was really impressed with the experience. The restaurant has a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, with tables available where you can sit down, relax, and properly enjoy your food instead of just grabbing something to go. The staff were also one of the highlights of my visit. Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s always nice to visit a place where the staff genuinely make you feel welcome. As for the food, the Spicy Bag was definitely the star of the show for me. 🌶️🔥 It was full of flavour, well-seasoned, and had just the right level of spice. I’ve tried quite a few spicy dishes in different places, and honestly, this is one of the best Spicy Bags I’ve ever had. Overall, Camilo Thai Food is a great spot if you’re looking for tasty food, generous portions, friendly service, and a relaxed place to sit and enjoy your meal. I would definitely recommend giving it a try, especially if you love spicy food! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. 🌶️🍜🇹🇭

31/12/2025: I arrived at 6:30pm on New Years Eve without a reservation. And when the woman in charge heard I was a party of one she immediately found me a spot. The curry chicken was great, and a huge serving. And it also included garlic bread AND chips! And since it was a special night I ordered the bread and butter pudding. They added every extra possible, and it was amazing! Thanks to all for making my solo night a memorable one! (And for keeping my glasses safe until I returned for them.) Highly recommend!

28/12/2025: Brilliant place to go for food and drink, the staff are so friendly always interactive the bar staff are great banter so welcoming a 10/10 experience my new spot Well done The balgriffin Inn you have it just right ✌️

16/08/2026: Very well run pub Staff are on point and very friendly. Spotless clean glasses and smiling drinks. Security staff also very nice.

15/08/2026: Unfotunately it was Bad experience . I Would Not and recommend the Resteraunt the Service was Unattentive. After placing an order, no one followed up on it . Despite the positive reviews, I ended up on the losing end of the situation
