10/08/2025: I just met a founders of that amazing place this weekend and must say, girls are unbelievable! Idea of Rustic Boowa is great! Hard working girls bringing healthy food to their local community ❤️ I really regret that I’m living in the other part of Ireland and can’t have their yummy food every day, or at least, every weekend! It ‘s worth every money to try such good quality and organic food! Well done girls! Congratulations to both of you and your team!

01/06/2025: Wouldn’t waste your time or your money . Didn’t appreciate the attitude of the senior bar man and the manager was told we were advised not to return to the pub very unprofessional behaviour and made us feel very uncomfortable.

17/08/2025: Fantastic function room and staff! Mark and Eddy are so sound and professional! I went in a few months ago to book the function room upstairs for my party and they explained the whole process and details regarding prices, food, decorations and DJ. Everyone is very welcoming and accommodating; absolute stars. All the staff, particularly barman Ben are so helpful, calm and kind. Love the wood and design of the space, very beautiful and comfortable whether you want to sit and relax or dance the night away. The playlists they have are solid, and they have disco lights they can put on by request. Food platters are delicious, note that platter is split among several plates (handy for a big party tbh!). The upstairs space is split into two areas connected by archways, and was used for two separate parties our night which we didn't even notice honestly. I never had such a big party before and it was a massive hit! Thanks to the team at Scholars for making it a such a seamless and fun experience. Don't hesitate and book your function at Scholars ASAP. Big fan if you cant tell. I will be back for more parties🤣👏

10/08/2025: Outstanding from start to finish! The Purty Kitchen nails flavour, service, and atmosphere. Juicy buffalo wings, melt-in-the-mouth fish & chips, and a rare steak sandwich packed with garlic aioli, smoky tobacco onions, and pepper sauce were unforgettable. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a cosy yet airy setting make this a Dún Laoghaire must visit!

25/07/2025: Buzzing place in South Dublin. Extensive menu, something for everyone. Nice staff, very welcoming. Runs a thin line between pub and restaurant but I think that they get it right. I wish them well. Gig venue upstairs as well so it’s got it all

06/07/2025: Not sure why this place has such high reviews. Server was friendly but after selling me on the lamb burger informed me they were sold out. 2 errors on my wife's order. Burger and wings were mediocre, fries poor. 'Traditional' music had as many American country songs as Irish. Overall disappointing first stop in Clifden.

29/06/2025: Excellent pub. The food was very good, and the welcome was very friendly. Great musical atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening.

02/08/2025: Had an absolutely scrumptious meal here last night. It started with not one, but two complimentary starters. First was dates wrapped in ham and the 2nd was salmon cream cheese with cracker dippers. The service was great and the staff really friendly and attentive. The Chef Thomas and Manager Ann were on hand to answer any questions and ensure all guests were having an enjoyable dining experience. Fabulous menu and we will definitely be back. 31/7/25 We came back and can't wait to come again! This place is excellent! Again Thomas didn't disappoint and Amy took such great care of us. The crab and mango was delicious, the quail fabulous, Chef's Special Steak and Halibut to die for! Can't wait for next visit.

19/07/2025: We happened to pull into this restaurant without knowing about it. As soon as you walked in we were greeted not only by the staff but the chef personally came out to meet us. They were welcoming, attentive and informative. We were then treated to a couple amusement bouches. The food was spectacular. I had the risotto and I have never had anything so good. If you’re driving by you have to stop.

07/08/2025: Lovely food, and fantastic friendly service from Mark. As a regular customer, I highly recommend this place. Food is always lovely and service is always really friendly and efficient. It's always a pleasure to come here.

31/07/2025: Struggling to find a restaurant in Drogheda open for lunch we came to Casanova and were very happy to find it open and even happier to enjoy an excellent lunch. Between us we tried pasta, salad, grilled chicken and tiramisu and they were all excellent. Note there is no alcohol licence here so bring your own. Recommended.

10/08/2025: We held our wedding in Angler's Rest in August 2025 and had a fantastic time. Jenny, Agata and Anna were incredibly helpful throughout the process, from arranging our viewing, getting us booked in, sorting our tasting and answering all our incessant questions. Guests said it was some of the best food they'd had at a wedding and we we couldn't have been happier. Would highly recommend as a Dublin wedding venue.
