The best restaurants

05/08/2026: I stopped in Tralee this morning and asked a lovely tall young lady where I could find a coffee shop, a good one if possible. She told me about Maddens ,even offered to walk me to it. I found it easy with her directions. Thank you so much. It wasn't a good coffee shop It was a great coffee shop, one of the best. Well worth a finding on your trips to kerry. Great coffee, sweet things and a great social space. Keep up the great work.

26/07/2026: Been here many times, the place is beautiful, and it’s clear a lot of heart goes into it, but the good vibes seem to stop here. I am always surprised by how indifferent and frosty the service is! No welcome, no good morning! Even when the customer first offers a greeting of hello, or how’s things, barely a response. Definitely not happy faces (today included). Customer gives thanks when picking up the coffees, no you are welcome, or have a good one from staff. Just frosty silence. I don’t get how a small town coffee shop gets away with lukewarm customer service. Truly can’t be bothered going here anymore.

12/07/2026: Crepes were tasty!! However, the overall atmosphere was unpleasant, it was unbearable to sit inside due to the smell of the food, and it was too crowded outside. It would be a better place if the workers could clean the tables on time, because we were just standing and waiting for a seat while two tables still had leftovers.

24/07/2026: This was a fawlty towers experience. Food took 2 hours and ten minutes. Starters were brought 20-25 minutes apart and some didnt arrive at all. They were clearing plates that had literally arrived on the table as there was such a time difference between everyone's food. The kids food was the last to arrive and they had fallen asleep such was the wait. The food was good but definitely not worth the wait. They got one of our orders wrong twice and appeared to have lost the orders as they returned to ask what we had ordered. We ended up just getting some of the food to take away. No excuses, no apology. A shambles.

21/07/2026: Left the kidz jumping off Ventry pier and went for pints, irresponsible I know but they're 17+ they were fine, Quinn's was fine place nice pints quick service, great to sit outside of and watch the world go bye, kidz eventually arrived and we had some nice grub, well presented and we didn't wait too long, Another place I'll be returning to.

30/07/2026: Whats the story with the baldy head fella with glasses. Being to the pub loads of times great because its pet friendly, we usually stop by for a pint and sit out on our walks but he picks and chooses when he wants to serve us. Just because hes having a bad day and cant take it out on the customers. Got told not today, what do you mean not today we always call in. All the other staff are great and friendly even give the dog water and treats, shame about that sour Man

28/07/2026: Great Irish pub with board games to keep you entertained while you enjoy a pint. Good selection of beers on tap.

22/07/2026: The Seabass was lovely. Good portion sizes. Staff were great. Kids friendly restaurant. One of the best meals I had in Wextord. Highly recommend.

10/07/2026: Disappointing experience and rigid substitution policy Visited the restaurant at the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience this morning. Since a full breakfast was too substantial, my companion and I both ordered the mini Irish breakfast. As I do not eat black or white pudding, I politely asked the waiter if the pudding could be substituted for either an extra sausage or an egg. I was informed that any substitution whatsoever required purchasing a "custom" breakfast, which is significantly more expensive. The server noted that management policy strictly forbids altering the standard menu items, and no manager was on-site to speak with. Ultimately, my breakfast arrived with the puddings removed as requested, but with no replacement component to balance the plate (as seen in the photo). We paid nearly €26 for two mini breakfasts. The experience left a poor impression. While the location is lovely, the food service feels geared toward a captive tourist market with an incredibly rigid approach to basic hospitality. A little flexibility regarding minor ingredient swaps would go a long way toward reflecting true Irish hospitality. I hope management considers a more guest-friendly approach in the future.

24/07/2026: One of the best spots in Naas. The food is always lovely but the service is even better. Nice atmosphere, too.

08/07/2026: Kelly our server was so helpful and took my wife's allergies seriously and ensured everything was suitable for her along with being friendly. It really helped make our night without having to worry, thank you.

01/06/2026: I can’t give enough starts for the meadowlands and their staff. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. Great food and lovely bar. Highly recommend to anyone.

24/07/2026: It was a great place to hold a short family event at Darbar Resturant . Service was very professional and food was excellent- Best chef. 👍 We had Halwa puri breakfast at Camden street Nawal branch . Strongly recommend for best Dine in and breakfast with tasty asian food and excellent service.

15/07/2026: Honestly you could not get a nicer Sunday dinner if ya tried! The food here is amazing, atmosphere is always great. Staff mostly smile and are very pleasant except for one barman who doesn't seem to know how to smile or even speak, grunts well though! Wouldn't let him put me off. I'll definitely be back
