The best restaurants

06/09/2026: Honestly, one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in Dublin! I’ve tried Indian food in quite a few places around Ireland, but I’ve never had fish and prawn curries like this before. The Goan Prawn Curry was absolutely amazing and definitely a must try. The Konkan Fish Tikki was also really good, and the Fish Goan Recheado was another standout. The flavours were so good, especially if you enjoy proper Goan and coastal Indian food. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a lovely cosy vibe. We had a great experience overall. Definitely coming back again. Would highly recommend Konkan if you love Indian food, especially seafood and Goan flavours.

01/09/2026: I am highly disappointed with the food served at Konkan. Unfortunately, the name of the restaurant does not reflect the quality of food being served. Goan Prawn Curry: Honestly, are you really calling this a Goan Prawn Curry? It doesn’t even come close to what an authentic Goan prawn curry should taste like. Calling a dish by a traditional name while serving something completely different is misleading to customers. Chicken Kadai: This was equally disappointing. I genuinely have to question whether the kitchen has chefs who are familiar with authentic Indian cuisine. Just because some customers may not be familiar with Indian food does not mean anything can be served under the name of a traditional dish. You are free to create your own versions and experiment with flavours, but then please name the dishes appropriately. If it is your own interpretation or innovation, say so. Otherwise, if you use the name of a traditional dish, it should reasonably meet the standard and expectations associated with that recipe. Customers should now go to YouTube to compare what they ordered with what they actually received. There is nothing wrong with innovation—but there is a problem when innovation is presented as an authentic traditional dish. Customers deserve transparency, quality, and respect for the cuisine being represented.

19/08/2026: Intentionally visit this location to support an entirely gluten free business as a Celiac. The food options were incredible, and the staff were very kind. There is a public parking lot only a 3 minute walk away so we would recommend parking there if you have a car. Would highly recommend visiting this location!

17/07/2026: Attended a wedding here. No management presence, ramshackle service, untrained staff. When you see staff using floor brushes to 'sweep' the bar counter top it's not a good sign. Food no better. It's in a beautiful location with a well attended garden and a great, comfortable space inside. Wouldn't take much for it to really shine and be worth the price tag.

10/09/2026: The whole facility is superb. Very good food offering in resteraunt. Great display of flowers and shrubs with all supporting gardening equipment including BBQ. Wide range of outdoor clothing. Good range of Christmas produce coming soon.

12/08/2026: It was very good. We had an Irish Breakfast with a cappuccino and a Breakfast Burrito with a large glass of orange juice. It was perfect and a generous portion. For 35 euros, we ate much more than we wanted. The service was good and quick, the place was cozy, it was great.

08/09/2026: Amazing place, bruschetta, cannoli the best, fab wine to complement dishes. Steak is the best tasted. Lovely staff, always so accommodating to our family. Toilets spotless. I never review anywhere but we have been dining here for years and my daughter has a peanut allergy-100% safe for her, which why we always go here when in Kilkenny. Ciao 🩷

20/08/2026: have just come back for the second time this week this place is so good. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. the price is really reasonable too. We will definitely be back next time we are in kilkenny and would highly recommend Italian connection

31/07/2026: Wow, this has to be the best pizza in Ireland! We are thrilled to have found this place. Make sure to call ahead for a reservation, and bring your appetite!

06/09/2026: Service and food exceptional. Starters on the house to share. Desert for birthday girl on the house too. Quick service and very friendly waiters. Portions very generous and always offering extra rise or other sides if required. Definitely will come back.

23/09/2026: Great experience dining at the Horseshoe. We were just passing through and stopped for a bite. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The Guiness was great as well :)

25/08/2026: Was in for my Saturday nite looking forward to a little dancing but I could not DJ was not great very much the arena vibe music lots into that so if it is ur vibe you are in luck bar staff was excellent one lady never failed on knowing her glasses for every drink 🍸 Quick and pleasant 😀 the bar food is really good here on any evening or day 🥳

22/08/2026: From the organisation to execution of a surprise birthday party, the staff went above and beyond for us. Extremely accomodating, always a friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and the most delicious food! Not the first event we've had here and always a 10/10 experience.
