20/12/2025: Nice Bar with Latino Vibes thanks to the excellent Carlos the Barman. We spent a perfect birthday gathering there.

29/08/2025: Fields have put a lot of money bringing their shop up to the standards of the 21st century. Unfortunately, they didn't use the opportunity to bring the standards of their toilets up too. No wheelchair accessible toilets. No excuse in this day and age especially as they are running an in-house cafe. The cafe leaves a lot to be desired. The coffee is awful, food is mediocre and the tables not very clean. UPDATE Fields had a single bathroom downstairs which they had allocated to the elderly. However, they have since taken down that sign and replaced it with a free for all. There is no sign to tell able-bodied customers to use the ample toilet facilities upstairs. Now there is often a queue for their single toilet downstairs. Had they put any thought into the design or had any consideration for the disabled they could have easily made the downstairs wheelchair-friendly and solved a number of issues. They do advertise that their car park has wheelchair accessible spaces. There are not enough of these and cars and delivery lorrie’s are constantly blocking the ramps. Wake up Fields!!

04/11/2025: Can only rate the restaurant/pub. We were five people who stayed in the area for a week. Went to the place twice to enjoy some nice and delicious food.Nice and varied choice. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

06/03/2026: What a delightful place for a lunch. My wife and I both had the turkey and dressing Toasties. She added a bowl of soup and I added the wings. Everything was just what you would expect of an Irish pub. Only better. Our waitress was attentive and got the order right. I'm sure we will be back.

18/02/2026: Fantastic dog friendly establishment. Food cooked with love. Service given with a smile. Outstanding quality, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend the breakfast.

18/03/2026: Called in St Patrick eveing . Wow so glad we did lovely restaurant with amazing attentive staff. Food was Fantastic best indain we have had in a long time .wish I lived near .Such a lovely ending to our stay in westport. Lovely relaxing old time music. What an enjoyable eveing Thanks to all. Will be returning. So busy for takeaway while we were there.

01/01/2026: Delicious food, super professional and friendly service, tried several dishes like sizzling roast duck, tandoori prawn sizzler, Tikka masala, and few starters. 10/10👌

05/02/2026: Delicious food, beautiful decor (we went just after Christmas), great service, friendly staff. The portion sizes were big. Plenty of parking along the road. We would happily go back for a special occasion.

14/12/2025: My mum and I went here for dinner recently. The place was absolutely gorgeous, decorated beautifully. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. We ordered the hake and the fish & chips. We were so impressed. The hake and cauliflower were beautifully cooked ( massive portions too ). The fish and chips were so tasty, one of the best I’d say. The tartare sauce was unreal! Also a massive portions ( 2 big filets of fish ). We then had the apple crumble and the x-mas pudding for dessert, which were so good! I would definitely recommend this place! We’ll be back :)

15/03/2026: Stayed 3 nights at end of February. Spotless hotel . Really well maintained rooms . Great breakfast with many options for each morning . Staff are really welcoming . Lovely woman working on breakfast service. Can’t remember her name, she had black bob and mentioned she was from clones. She was wonderful and would go above and beyond .

15/03/2026: Love beautiful Hotel and event centre in the heart of Cavan with spacious free parking. Loads of meeting and event facilities with helpful staff.

19/02/2026: We had a fabulous time at the Lough Inn. We tried the tasting menu and every course was generous and delicious. Our anticipation before each course was met with pure satisfaction and Thomas and Ann were lovely hosts. Thomas provides a real culinary experience which I would highly recommend.

18/02/2026: Had such a lovely evening here. We went for the six-course tasting menu and honestly, every single dish was gorgeous — full of flavour and beautifully done. The French-style food was amazing from start to finish. The service was really friendly and made us feel so welcome. We also had a beautiful wine which topped it all off. Just a really nice, relaxed night with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.

23/03/2026: Sorry the place in lovely......but for the price the food was very bland the pepper sauce was so weak €36 for a rib eye steak. wasn't as good as you would expect I was sitting at the bar with lots of staff right in front of me but I still had to ask staff for everything 1 girl I asked two times before getting dessert menu. Then waiting 10 minutes before a nice older man looks like barman came in and he was great... But it's good to see so many young staff getting work . But please get the girls away from the glass polishing machine. They are addicted to rubbing their hands on it 😞 Again I'm sorry. But disappointed.

10/03/2026: Fantastic pub, with a great atmosphere, very friendly staff , lots to choose from on the food menu's, with some tasty bar snacks if your peckish ...very experienced boys behind the bar pulling pints and serving drinks.. a classic , open plan layout, caters for all ur party needs, big or small .. couldn't recommend it enough to anyone... 10 stars , absolutely loved my experience there 👍😜

17/10/2025: Love going to this Osteria, every time we are in Waterford we pop in, the food is amazing just like in Rome. We always leave with a few extra tubs of tiramisu.

10/11/2025: Great to see a restaurant of this standard in Kildare. With the Hangman’s closed, we’ve been short of somewhere special locally, and O’Dooles has definitely stepped up. It’s a proper night-out spot – not just a pub meal. We had a group of 15 last night and everything was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the place is spotless. The wine list is well chosen and fairly priced, drinks looked great, and the food was full of flavour across all courses. We also had a coeliac with us and the kitchen handled it perfectly – clear communication, careful preparation, and a gluten-free starter made fresh, which was very much appreciated. It’s great to have somewhere like this on our doorstep in Kildare. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.

07/11/2025: We had a really lovely experience in O'Dooles restaurant for my brother’s birthday. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing from start to finish. Great cocktail menu and lovely bar area for a pre dinner drink. Margarita was fab. The prawn starter was delish and the chickpea fritter to start was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed the main courses the Seabass for me was perfect and so flavorsome and my brother was very happy with the Veal chop. Desserts were great and the Cheeseboard - we are all still thinking about it! Great atmosphere in the restaurant. We can’t wait to go back. Thanks again to all the team at O’Dooles!
