19/12/2025: I've been here for a work night out. They have a great selection of cocktails. The Shak has great pizzas. Atmosphere was very lively and relaxingat the same time. Great outdoor area.

07/12/2025: I had dinner at the Anchor Bar recently and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening meal. We ordered the turkey and ham, and the fish and chips — both dishes were generous, tasty, and well prepared. A reliable spot for classic, hearty food.

03/08/2025: Brunch time on a Friday! Place was very busy, but the staff did a great job keeping everyone attended. I had the small breakfast with a very nice coffee and the brown bread is DELICIOUS.

06/03/2026: Staff very friendly and a lovely atmosphere among them all. Pint of Guinness very very good. Had garlic mushrooms/chicken wings for super starter. Steak dinner/house burger was absolutely super and great value. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.

25/02/2026: Had to do something rather urgent time-wise and decided to ring the Cill Aodain to see if they could help me. Have to say the lad I was dealing with over the phone could not have been more understanding, obliging or kind - his name is Lorcan and I have to say unequivocally that he is an outstanding representative for your Hotel. Have never done a review of any sort before but just had to do one this time to say thank you again to Lorcan

14/10/2025: Would have giving 5 stars as the food is delicious but we ordered it the other night and it took nearly 2 hours and we only live about 20 minute drive so that was disappointing.

03/09/2025: It was a great family outing and a way to spend an hour exploring. Crag Cave is marvellous and very reasonably priced. The self directed tour is a nice idea - the kids ( and us , their parents ) really enjoyed it ! We'd recommend it.

18/12/2025: Every morning, I take my eldest into the city for gym. While he works out, I wander to a nearby café with my laptop for a pot of tea, a bit of writing, and some much-needed peace. (I love my big Irish family but there's a lot of them!) Yesterday, I found myself at @delishcafes in Raheen, tucked between Christmas party chatter and the scent of scones. I was perfectly content, so much so that I ordered a second pot of tea. When it came time to leave, I reached into my bag… no purse. I’d left it in my coat at home. I sheepishly approached the manager who was juggling a very festive, very busy café and explained the situation. She didn’t blink. No fuss, no questions, no “let me take your number just in case.” Just: “That’s no problem at all. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Her generosity melted my embarrassment on the spot. I walked out of Delish with that lovely warm feeling that happens when someone meets you with grace instead of suspicion. That’s the spirit I want to carry into the rest of the season❣️

07/10/2025: Yummy coffee and lunch, they were dog friendly in their outdoor seating when I visited a while back, which was great 👍 pleasant loal small business, happy to support.

01/02/2026: Worst breakfast I have had in a while ! The porridge and scrambled eggs were terrible. The milk smelled bad as if it was expired. We couldn't even finish the food
