14/07/2026: Best cup of coffee I've ever had.

13/07/2026: I love this spot, especially when heading off of the luas to work. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the coffee is delicious. One of my top spots in Dundrum.

30/08/2026: We booked PF McCarthy's for day two of our wedding last weekend. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Meg looked after us the entire way and made sure all our questions were answered and requests met. She was laid back and easy to deal with - which was a perk, seeing as we had the actual wedding day to worry about too - but never left us feeling neglected or concerned. The food was unbelievable, with a huge amount of options to choose from and varied price points to suit your budget. The vegetarian options were a particular stand out and left our meat eating guests looking at them with envy! Great selection of drinks, particularly for myself as a non-drinker. The pints were nice and creamy, or so I've been told! The staff were extremely professional and adaptive on the day, and went above and beyond to make us feel looked after. We had visited most pubs in the village a few months before hand, and settled on PFs as our favorite based on vibes. Their hospitality on our day 2 exceeded our expectations and left all our guests delighted and full of praise.

23/08/2026: An authentic, village-style restaurant/pub with an exceptional atmosphere. We ordered a variety platter, and the standout dishes were the delicious tomato soup with seafood and the chocolate fondant. That evening, a fantastic singer and guitarist played live, accompanied by a young percussionist. They performed popular songs with soul and passion.

28/08/2026: I ordered fish and chips, and it was delicious.

27/08/2026: The chips were ok - 7/10 - but the fish had been pre battered and was thick and soggy.

16/09/2026: This is a great place to stop near Kilmainham Gaol. The fish & chips were delicious. Friendly service and not busy on a Tuesday afternoon.

14/09/2026: It’s a heartwarming pub , we drove to Dublin from Kildare this morning for bringing my mum to st James hospital , during the time waiting for my mum we found this lovely dog friendly pub , they are not only providing amazing food but also made some fresh grilled chicken for my hungry puppy , because I forgot to pack her some food this morning 😂🫶🏻🫶🏻 thank you to the fabulous staff Sophie and another male floor staff ❤️❤️❤️!!! Will be back next time visiting Dublin

15/06/2026: Fabulous hotel with parking available right outside on our arrival! Lovely staff, wonderful room. Extremely comfortable with lots of lovely touches, wasn't expecting a gift upon check out! Wonderful location, close to town.

09/06/2026: Great location. We were concerned about parking but there was no issues. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Bed was very cosy, slept well. Food was average. Nice touch giving a candle at checkout. Would stay again.

02/08/2026: An absolute lady! our first stop on hen of 26 people and while she wasn't expecting us, she delivered an amazing service.

21/07/2026: Visited with my dad in '06. We where on a guided tour and I vividly remember the painting on the wall in the pub and the good times we had. Took a picture of the painting and the people on the guided tour. Revisted 2 years ago on our honeymoon. Still the painting was there. My dad died several years prior to our marriage and honymoon and I showed the owners a picture of us there back in '06. Had a lovely time there with my wife as well. And a couple of pints of Guiness. Asked for a wee dram of Redspot, the owner asked if I was sure ('cause it's a bit steep) which I was. He poured a dram, looked me in the eyes, said, "for good old times sakes lad" and filled the glass quite a lot more than usual. A toast for my dad so to speak. Which was and still is something I will never forget and am gratefull for to this very day. I know it's been a while but thank you. This meant and means so much to me still. 08/08/2026: Taste was ok but charing way too much for thin slice of bread. Small spread of guacamole and 3 hard poached eggs. 15 euro for not much on the plate.

25/09/2026: I like the food here but I feel very unsafe when I sit down to eat due to aggressive people coming in and demanding money. A disclaimer - of course I'm empathetic to their situation and what they are going through, the crisis in Dublin overall is genuinely awful, and I acknowledge it is generally a broader systemic problem. The issue is I've been intimidated by people asking for money, who sit down opposite you uninvited or stand above you while sitting down having a meal, sometimes with others. At one point I was physically approached when I stood up to leave my table. You feel vulnerable as they demand and persist from you, and there is little you can do. Like you're physically sat down in the middle of having food, you feel sort of trapped. Unfortunately it keeps happening. While till staff may eventually approach them, it's not always immediately effective. It's a shame as I like the food. But I cannot sit down here and enjoy a meal as due to the lack of security I feel unsafe.

24/09/2026: Amazing and delicious food! My fav is their chicken wings with bbq sauce

24/08/2026: The best part of the meal was the amuse bouche of celery soup. The salad had too much dressing and was almost all lettuces, with minimal amounts of the other listed ingredients. The Irish chicken roulade was beautifully presented but quite dry. Altogether a disappointment, based on reviews and personal recommendation.

21/08/2026: Perfect service, delicious fish, and incomparable foie gras! Thank you for a wonderful evening! It was worth every penny… Embarrassing, those know-it-alls with the bad reviews. Comparable to Swiss standards!

15/09/2026: Great breakfast place in Temple Bar. We got the Normal Breakfast and the Irish Meat Omelet. Drinks were the Cafe Mocha and a Cappuccino. Coffee was very good. Food was good.

12/09/2026: Fabulous wee cafe/bar. Food is scrumptious and plenty of it. Afternoon Tea is beyond belief. Finally the staff led by a lovely lady are brilliant. A must visit place.

13/09/2026: I had a great experience at Istanbul Restaurant! The staff are very respectful, lovely, and the service is really fast. I ordered the Half Pounder Burger, and it was absolutely perfect! And the other day i bough donner , The lamb, chicken, and everything else tasted fresh and delicious. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend this place
