26/05/2026: A very sweet little hotel, beautifully decorated and incredibly relaxing and cozy. It felt very homely, and the owners were exceptionally kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

25/05/2026: Lovely hotel, very good value, decor is full of old world charm. The room was very clean. Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious. Staff were very welcoming. Would 100% recommend.

06/06/2026: Beautiful shop, lovely enthusiastic people there who are genuinely interested in you and your love of books. We didn't have a coffee but I think there was coffee making facilities if you wanted to have a longer browse. ❤️

20/08/2026: I was very shocked to have this desert presented to me. It had fallen apart and had little to no biscuit on the plate . I watched the cheesecakes come out to a group beside me and they were much bigger slices and together . I would also like to add that I was sitting for 20 minutes on my own before the desert came . It was a set menu and desert was to arrive after they collected my main course plate . Workers were walking by me constantly . Nobody asked how my meal was . Eventually someone copped that I was waiting for the desert . There was enough staff to deal with the little crowd in there but I felt ignored . My advice is to show the same care to solo travellers as to groups or couples .

30/08/2026: I highly recommend Sushi Planet! 🍣 We order from here regularly and are always happy with the food. The sushi is fresh, delicious, and the portions are generous. Everything is always carefully prepared and packaged. I especially like the consistent quality — everything is great every time. The staff are very friendly and polite, and orders are prepared quickly. You can really see that they care about their customers. Definitely one of our favourite places for sushi in Dublin. We’ll definitely be ordering again! 👍🍱

02/07/2026: This is a fabulous pub! We visited when it was very quiet, on a mid-week early afternoon, so we kinda had the place to ourselves. The barman was very attentive, friendly, helpful and happy to chat and answer any questions we had. Great decor, nice chilled atmosphere. The beers we had (Smithwicks & Beamish) were absolute beauties! Quality beer, well kept! Highly recommend this place, fantastic!

31/08/2026: When we visit Longford, Ireland we always stop into John Duignan's Tally-Ho Pub. This location has been a pub since 1875 and was the Winner of Pub of the Year (Longford) at the Irish Restaurant Awards 2022.Our most recent visit was when we were in town July 18-23, 2022 for the Farrell Clan Rally. A comfortable pub in the heart of the city open from 5pm-12am daily. A great place to catch a rugby match or just to share a pint with friends. Nothing fancy here just fine beverages and great service in a friendly neighborhood pub. Thank you to John D. & his staff. Hope to see you at the next Farrell Clan Rally in 2026. We came over again for the quadrennial Farrell Clan Rally 19/07-25/07/2026 in County Longford, IE. This is our favorite pub after a day of exploring when staying in Longford. And only a five minute walk from our room at The Cathedral View Apts. The owner, John Duignan is the epitome of the Irish pub owner, affable, welcoming to locals & visitors, and always pours an honest pint. This pub is open 5pm-12am seven days a week. No meals are offered but there'a a good selection of Taytos LOL. Draught beers are the most popular and they offer all legal spirits, ciders, & wines. We went here after exploring & dining each evening we were in Longford. There really is no reason to go elsewhere for a pint, live music, & great craic. Thank you John & John for your hospitality. The decor is tasteful and creates a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere right away.We opted for the warm dishes (no sushi), and the food was simply fantastic! You can immediately taste that everything is prepared with super fresh ingredients. On top of that, the staff was attentive and very friendly throughout the entire evening.The absolute icing on the cake was the wonderful, witty, and charming Irishman sitting right next to us. We had brilliant conversations —he shared our deep appreciation for the great food and made our evening truly unforgettable.A flawless evening with excellent food and genuine Irish warmth. We will definitely be back!
