17/08/2026: We visited around 1 PM and really enjoyed the atmosphere and overall vibe of the pub. Unfortunately, we were made to feel very uncomfortable by a male local at the bar who kept monitoring us, questioning what we were doing, and following us outside when we went out. It felt subtly targeted.

04/06/2026: Service was very good but could benefit from redecoration. No parking on premise, but public parking available less than 100 metres away.

19/09/2026: Very nice chicken burgers, the tenders a good aswell. Quality of the chicken is really good. My only complaint is if your menu says kimchi, use bloody kimchi. Or rename the dish as gochujang cheese fries cause thats what it is.

04/07/2026: I took a delivery today from peking ashbourne. The delivery was fast, which I appreciate. However, there were several issues with the order. I ordered a boba tea, but it didn’t contain any boba. I also ordered egg fried rice, but there was no egg in it. The chow mein noodles were not dry enough and were quite soggy. The Pad Thai noodles were also soggy and didn’t include the peanuts that are typically part of the dish. Overall, the food quality was disappointing. Please pay more attention to quality control and ensure that orders are prepared correctly before delivery.

02/03/2026: Grab a poke bowl for on the go. Food is nice enough to go again. I enjoyed mine, the daughter found it average. We both ordered the salmon. Im coeliac and the staff (although lovely) didnt know anything about it. Luckily, they have the allergins on the wall. Its a quaint food stall in the Blackrock Market laneway. No parking nearby.

27/07/2026: I was at the Axis theatre recently and the staff there were very friendly,helpful and kind to deal with and myself and my friend had a brilliant time at the Aladdin panto we went to see and we couldn't be more happier with the price of the tickets we paid for the show and we're definitely going to be going back there again to see more pantomimes in the future and I hope the theatre will have other shows on there that I'll like to go and see

16/09/2026: I used to eat here a lot when I lived in Dublin. Came back after a few years - food was still very tasty but portions much tinier. Prices are steep. Still recommend!

14/07/2026: What I think of this place? It’s okay but not brilliant, 4.7? Maybe 4 at best! Positives, I do like the layout, the style and decor of the restaurant/cafe, and thought the mocha was nicely made. With that said, a few things let our experience down. Firstly, when we went to order I didn’t realise they only serve lunch items from 12 onwards. Nothing particularly wrong with that, but it renders at least a third of the menu useless. At least that. The item I went for was the mushroom and onion omelette. Overall it was a bit bland and could’ve done with some seasoning, though it was cooked fine. We were also asked to move from where we were sitting for a table of 4. While I didn’t object (mainly because he asked nicely), I do believe we shouldn’t really have been asked to move. There was plenty of other space available, so I don’t see why the guy working there couldn’t put together a table somewhere else in the restaurant. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable expectation. On top of that, when I went to the bathroom downstairs in the gents, the toilets looked spotlessly clean but the light in the cubicle was nonexistent and the door wouldn’t lock. Not the most comfortable situation, especially when someone could easily open the door on you. That ought to be fixed. When you combine all these negatives, the food being okay but not brilliant, being asked to move despite plenty of other spaces, half the menu being unavailable at 11:30 AM, and the toilet issues with the light and lock it makes the whole experience a little disappointing. The positives like the nice mocha and decor were there, but unfortunately these things didn’t make me feel particularly welcomed or valued as a customer.

01/05/2026: Absolutely perfect. Huge room. Very warm. Clean bedding. Great location just across from the beach. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere in the bar area too. I highly recommend! I would definitely return

04/08/2026: Came here with a stag group on a Saturday evening pre and post meal. Got to say just an absolute joy of a place that I’ll remember. Proper chatting pub with friendly bar staff that greet you with a pleasant smile and welcome. Lovely patrons that were happy to chat away and recommend places we should visit later in the evening. And a lovely pint of the black stuff. I hope to be back some day

28/07/2026: Really good food every time I order. Everything is fresh, tasty and arrives hot.They’ve also added milkshakes to the menu, which I really loved, especially the strawberry one. The staff are always friendly and the service is quick. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good takeaway in Rathangan!

26/08/2026: The staff were extremely polite and efficient. We had the seafood chowder and buffalo wings for starters. Both were very tasty and zero complaints. We then had the roast beef which came with a nice selection of vegetables, roast potato, yorkshire pudding and potatoes. I must say the portions were quite generous and extremely tasty. All in all, it was the perfect meal from start to finish. Highly recommended!

12/05/2026: I visited this restaurant twice in two days, and have tried their seafood chowder, beef brisket sandwich and Smoked BBQ platter. With this quality, they can already open up a popular restaurant in any major cities across the world. Staffs were super friendly with a big smile. Strongly recommended.
