08/09/2026: Got takeaway and did the “make your own” sandwich. It was amazing. I’m so happy I got to experience the Irish griolladh.

02/09/2026: The coffee was below average, but the rest was decent.

21/06/2026: Best pub and best pint of Guinness in Ennis....end of.

14/06/2026: A beautiful, old bar with a great atmosphere. Friendly service and very good beer. There was live Irish music that evening and the place was packed. A hidden gem!

02/08/2026: My friend and I had dinner here last night and we'd highly recommend this place. The food and drink was of a very high quality and the service was excellent. There was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were so friendly.

17/08/2026: Lovely atmosphere very nice staff was very clean. Myself and friends had 2 x Irish breakfast and 2 x mini breakfast tasting really good . Thank you to all the staff on that day .

30/08/2026: I visited Murphy's Restaurant today 28th August 2026 as came to Castletownbere on a weekend break. Absolutely lovely staff, kind, courteous, helpful. The food was amazing, tasty and well presented all fresh not shop bought produce. Only flaw, and this is just a tiny, tiny remark, the food on menu isn't what was served, the food on chalk board menu is what is served, so on menu is only a drinks menu, but it also shows food, maybe so as not to have customers order from this menu, just get a drinks menu list, now, it wasn't the staff fault people were ordering from this menu, as when I was seated IF PEOPLE WOULD ONLY LISTEN,,,, the staff stated the food menu is here (Which they brought out on a CHALBOARD MENU), and the drinks are on the pamphlet list, but obviously people weren't LISTENING.... 100% EXCEPTIONAL FOOD. CUSTOMER SERVICE 100%

25/08/2026: Very accommodating and welcoming to us with our dog and 2 younger children in the covered outside area where they put the heater on for us. Fantastic service and friendly staff all round - the little one was dead impressed with his bonus ice cream 😋 Decent food and portions also, you should definitely consider if looking for dinner.

15/05/2026: Big pub Very cold pub, heating non existant Toilets need a really good clean. Staff all lovely, Guinness nowhere near as good as it used to be.

20/04/2026: Cool pub which has everything. Busy on the day but heard it was good Guinness there but was only average imo. Has a lot of little rooms so easy to find your own space.

16/06/2026: We had our day two here and I would recommend. They had the place all nicely set up for us. We were able to get food in as they didn't provide any. The cocktails were great and all the staff very friendly. I would come again next time I am in Tralee. Flash is very hospitable.

05/05/2026: The best craic in Tralee, great music, fantastic atmosphere, amazing cocktails. Fabulous bar staff ,lead by Flash.... He's excellent at his job, a real people person, couldn't be more helpful and so funny ,plus a wiz at the cocktail's ... like Tom Cruise style 🍹🍹😍😍😍 also Luke one of the bartenders was a lovely lad ,super helpful. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Tralee.

31/05/2026: Amazing food and a great atmosphere. I also want to give a special mention to Jorge and Osvaldo — they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!

11/09/2026: Small Greek restaurant with a limited selection. Long wait for the food, but otherwise fine. This was indicated beforehand, though. Staff was friendly. No Greek beer.

24/08/2026: I have to say, I think this is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had, so far. The food is always consistent also. Pity the tubs of curry sauce aren't bigger though 😁

06/07/2026: The staff are lovely in there, the food is amazing, never waiting long for my food, the best Chinese in new Ross maybe even Wexford too, my only bone to pick: recently the spice bags seasoning has been too salty the last couple of times I ordered, hoping it changes back to the old seasoning, highly recommend though x

13/09/2026: Went in for my breakfast with two friends and had some delicious pancakes while my friends got the eggs on avocado toast which were also fab! Was a bit quiet when we were in but will definitely be back!!

31/08/2026: The staff were very nice however the food was appalling and myself and my partner can’t believe we paid 13€ for each sandwich. The avocado was brown, chicken hard, we asked for no peppers and got them. Cheese smelt rotten. Worst thing I’ve eaten in a while. I’m a student and 13€ is a lot of money to spend on a sandwich already, but it being that bad, we left extremely disappointed. Wouldn’t go there ever again. We went here about 6 months ago and it was lovely , chef must have been changed over…

08/08/2026: The chef’s choice menu was amazing, although the halibut was less flavorful than the rest of the dishes, and we enjoyed sitting at the counter and watching preparation. Service was friendly and professional.

20/07/2026: Lovely place, the service was very good and the food was great !

23/06/2026: Stopped in just me and the wife for coffee/lunch . Place looked empty and was asked if we had a reservation. We didn't have one and where told they where booked out 🤔(place had lots of empty tables) Pity its like that as its a beautiful looking spot .

14/05/2026: Fabulous spot. Beautiful grounds. Lovely outdoor tub and sauna. Meal was dissapointing and overpriced.

25/07/2026: Good old classic Café, get your fry-ups and coffee here. Lovely breakfast, absolute best in the area, good pricing but limited seating so get there early. Very convenient.
