21/09/2025: The best fresh bread in town. They their vegan soda bread and vegan pastries. Lovely staff. You can also get a bread with vinegar and oil tasting.

15/05/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at The Cedar Rooms in Farnham Estate! The food was amazing from start to finish—every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. What made the evening truly special, though, was the outstanding service. Our waiter, Isla, was so friendly and helpful the entire evening. Her warm hospitality and attentive care genuinely made the whole experience even better. We highly recommend dining here and will definitely be back!

05/10/2025: Long day walking the Cliffs of Moher and we were looking for someplace to eat and rest our feet. Gatto Rosso let us do both. I have an extreme dairy allergy so Italian restaurants are always a challenge. Add to that our server was very new and I ordered a no cheese pizza. Not gonna lie, I was worried. I shouldn't have been. Either the manager or the owner came out and confirmed that I wanted a no cheese pizza and assured me it would be free of any dairy. What I got was one of the best pizzas I have ever had in my life. I ate the whole darn thing because it was so good. SO got pasta and loved it. Oh and the beer was excellent. We sat outside in the beautiful weather and people watched. When we are back in Galway not in a heat wave I will gladly sit inside. Great food, great location and exceptional service. Thank you!

26/09/2025: Food was ok the pizza was a bit raw and the prices high even considering the location still a bit to much (Margherita 17.50) Service was ok a bit slow but friendly. All in all acceptable but not really good

19/05/2026: Baffling lack of customer service. Waited an hour and 45 minutes for a stone cold pizza to be delivered

15/05/2026: First pizza was burnt. Second pizza was only okay. Not very good especially for the price. I recommend avoiding this establishment.

22/10/2025: Arrived late after a long flight and went straight to bed then found in the morning the toilet didn’t flush. If we hadn’t had this issue then the hotel is fine for a short stay close to the airport.

22/10/2025: Handy for staying after a late flight arrival, very expensive to not have breakfast included. Room smelled very musty and of stale cigarettes, not ideal.

23/03/2026: Servers were really nice, food was raw and dripping oil + batter, when sent back was met with overcooked chicken and i mean pure rubber. Food poisoning cheers🙏 Not the servers fault just the unqualified chef with an ego

29/12/2025: I come here regularly and love the menu and variety but I’ve ordered soup on 3 different occasions and its extremely over salted!! Also music is way too loud.

05/04/2026: I have been going to Sandymount house regularly since 1992. I used to work in Quinnsworth in 1992/93/94. I enjoyed the pub especially when Leinster Rugby , Irish soccer and Irish rugby play at Lansdowne or Aviva. The bar men past/present are very friendly, and courteous. I recommend this beautiful pub. Top notch pub. Excellent pub. Very popular with Irish Rugby fans and Leinster rugby fans.

16/05/2026: Awful Food, will not repeat. Service was fine. Crab meat ravioli was actually just 95% mushroom with some crab shell. Carbonara was less than basic. Greek salad for 14€ was similar quality to a old tesco meal deal salad with about 3€.

14/05/2026: Service was lovely, and the restaurant was very nice. Unfortunately the sirloin stake was very chewy and fatty.

18/04/2026: The food was really delicious. We ordered samosas, naan, pilou rice, and chicken tikka masala.

19/05/2026: Lovely friendly place, great food. Second time here. Both times I was travelling from kerry. First time had cooked breakfast, yesterday liver, mash, onions and gravy. What a treat to see the liver on the menu.
