23/09/2026: Lovely place with a nice atmosphere and excellent service! The staff were so friendly and kind! I’m glad I took the recommendation to try the seasonal dark hot chocolate, it was delicious! 🍫☕️ Definitely coming back!

17/09/2026: Amazing!! We stopped here last minute and were able to get the afternoon tea. It was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. Everyone was so friendly and although we didn’t get to try the other food it all looked delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

30/08/2026: 30/08/26: it's been a while and I don't get up as much as I d like to because of work, but just got back upon a Sunday and had a lovely Irish brekkie. The warm feeling from the team is the big bonus. Sue and Ada worked today and are the nicest folks. Always feel welcomed. Love this cafe. Hidden gem. Great spot to grab a coffee and head up to the park for a lap. There is never a queue, because its in the other side of the park. In my opinion it's better than its competitors on the other side. I'm a bit torn about letting the secret out. Owners are the best and it's great to support local. Grab one of their delicious home made sausage rolls if you want to reward yourself in advance. 23/06/2026: This hotel went above and beyond what i expected when i rang at 22:40 in an attempt to book a room for my engineers after being let down by someone else, they solved a massive issue within 2 minutes would highly recommend!!

14/06/2026: I arrived here with my family on Saturday 14th June, from the moment we arrived into the carpark everything was perfect, beautiful hotel, the receptionist was really nice explained everything in great depth, hotel is immaculate, family rooms were so spacious it was one of the best family rooms we ever stayed in & we have stayed in alot of them, beds are unbelievably comfortable. Id stay again just for that bed lol. Menu is really good, food is amazing, each member of staff that I had spoke with are an asset to the hotel, the guys in the bar in the evening were so nice also. The breakfast buffet area was so cosy and specious, each item on the buffet was fresh and beautiful. Thanks again guys.

05/09/2026: First I was told so much about the food and amount of it, so was warned to to eat breakfast. Ordered roast beef ,which consisted of two small tough pieces and mashed potatoes. Dissapointing. But the deserts were pretty good. I ended with the brownie. The waitress was lovely, just the dinner was not what was expected.

03/05/2026: Lovely carvery with excellent food and service. What impressed me most was how accommodating they were with someone who came in with limited mobility.

19/08/2026: We popped into Hogans on a number of occasions, whilst over in Ireland this week with an extended group of family members Padraig, the owner, was really friendly and helpful to us all. Service was excellent and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming Live music on Sunday was excellent and the cocktails were superb. This will now be one of our regular bases for future trips

15/08/2026: The perfect food refueling stop while passing through Mountmellick. Tastefull carvery/a la carte menu. Sandwich menu also available. Plenty of seating with very pleasant staff. Bathrooms immaculate. Looking forward to my next visit.

15/08/2026: My favourite restaurant ever! I’ve been coming here since I was a child with my family I’ve never had a bad meal ever 😍 staff are so lovely and food is incredible! Definitely worth trying
