The best restaurants

13/02/2025: Good coffee and a nice atmosphere. The carrot cake I had was only so-so. So from my experience I would say a nice place to meet up for a coffee but I don't know if I could recommend it for deserts.

19/02/2025: Last Friday I got 2 Açai bowls and mistakenly got peanut butter rather than Nutella. I asked the worker who I am unaware of the name but I can say she is Latina and she was absolutely horrible and so rude and told me not to come back here again if I make the same mistake again. As she went to hand the bag to me she pulled it back and stared at me and told me “this has really pissed me off” and then handed me the bag. The food was brilliant as always but I was just really disappointed with the service.

17/02/2025: Visited this café on a Monday morning around 10:30 with a friend, and it was already very busy. By the time we left, there was a line outside, so it’s clearly a popular spot! Service was quick and efficient, but it didn’t feel like a place where you could sit and chat for long. I ordered the French toast, which was good—one slice served with crispy streaky bacon, a small portion of fruit, and syrup on the side. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for a quick and tasty bite, but maybe not the best for a leisurely catch-up. I'll be back to try lunch.

18/01/2025: I wouldn’t be going in a hurry. We were presented with it would be 30/40 minutes wait which we agreed to and waited at the bar for 10 minutes when we then were shown to our table we then sat and waited 50 minutes just to order we had already asked 2 waitresses can we order and one addressed to us that there were 6 tables in front of us then another waitress came over to tell us it was 3 tables in front of us a table that was seated after us had given there order followed by ours and then 45 minutes later we were presented with our food. My partner ordered a medium to well which came out as medium to rare! We addressed this to a waitress but during this whole process we asked for another 2 drinks which we waited then 20 minutes for. The service and staff haven’t a clue what they are doing and we’re clueless on why we were making complaints . I am absolutely appalled by the service and will definitely not be returning!

23/12/2024: I went in here for food with my husband a week ago. The staff were great especially the bar guy. The food was really good and the Christmas atmosphere was really lovely. If I'm back in the area I will be sure to eat here again. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

03/10/2024: Rang up last Saturday morning looking for a last minute birthday cake, was expecting to have to pick something pre-made off the shelf as other bakeries had suggested to me. The lady who answered couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, she said the sponges had just come out of the oven and she would make up whatever cake it wanted. It was ready within about an hour I think. Cake was also beautiful, nicest black forest I've had in a long time. Highly recommend.

12/12/2024: An excellent spot to eat in or get takeaway with lots of parking nearby. The food was fantastic, fresh ingredients and well presented. I had a chicken kebab which was delicious, really well seasoned with a salad that was fresh and crispy. Highly recommended. Try it, you won't regret it.

22/02/2025: Food is pretty good for a bar. Some decent options for drink, great promotions. They currently do a quiz night on Wednesdays at 8pm (as of Feb 2025) which is free and excellently organised. Lots of seating, well decorated. Staff are pleasant and there's table service as well as bar.
