27/02/2026: Very bad experience. One staff member had a terrible attitude and was extremely unprofessional. They gave me more fries and barely any chicken, and when I politely pointed it out, he responded with arrogance instead of fixing it. Completely disrespectful behavior. Very disappointed.

01/11/2025: We had a great experience at this restaurant inside Shannon Springs Hotel. The food is very good quality and freshly prepared. The staff are polite, friendly, and always willing to help. The bathrooms are kept very clean, which is always a plus. There is free car parking available, and the prices are quite reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: The service and atmosphere is excellent here. We had a family meal here after bringing a family member to the crematorium and I have to say that the staff were beyond helpful and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend The Old Lodge Gastro Pub

30/11/2025: I visited Super Kebabish this evening and placed my order. No one bothered to tell me how long I would have to wait, but I waited patiently anyway. My kids were hungry, waiting in the car. After 40 minutes my kids came inside worried. And during all that time I watched food being handed out to people who had arrived long after me. I even heard the woman taking orders asking where the receipt for “that guy” was — clearly referring to me. When I tried to repeat my order, she literally turned her back on me and ignored me. Then she tried to push a completely different order on me. When I asked if they even had my order, she didn’t answer. When I tried to explain what happened — halfway through my sentence — she decided to ignore me again and started talking to another customer. I have never experienced such disrespect anywhere. My kids were hungry, I was hungry, and finally I said I was leaving. I actually saw relief on this woman’s face — and not even a single “sorry.” Nothing. Let me add that I didn’t see the owner, who always treated us well before — polite, smiling, professional. That’s the only reason I liked coming back there. What a disgrace!!!

19/03/2026: Service is extremely slow especially at the drive through

11/03/2026: The chicken was wet with grease I couldn't eat it, the onion rings were also soaked in grease and couldn't be eaten. Milkshake machine was broken. The staff were laughing and joking with each other when we walked in but were quiet and abrupt when taking orders felt like we interrupted some school friends chattering. Wouldn't be back with the state of the grease on the food.

13/02/2026: I really like the shop ... Fresh meat has a wide range so as fish ... The only one thing was shocking it's a price for fresh vegetables... I paid €5,70 for just one white cabbage which is really too much... However, still give 5 starts as it's only thing I didn't like and the rest of experience is great from helpful staff to very competitive price for meat and fish

21/12/2025: I was refused of service after 2 pints. I stumbled little bit with chair and lady at bar said that I was too drunk. I had to look better place to watch darts World Cup.

14/12/2025: Booked a table for my birthday Saturday night the 13th of December and all the staff members were incredibly nice and welcoming to me and my friends. They volunteered to help with the cake we brought to the bar, keeping it in the fridge until we got drinks and accommodated us to a nice area. There was a nice live music during the night. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

08/02/2026: Two stars for the food and the front staff. Avoid the mango lassi. When we complained about the lassi, the chef/owner came screaming outside to see what the complain was. He came out screaming ‘what do you want in the lassi’. When we took the same tone with him, that’s when he lowered his voice and apologised and then changed the lassi. I wouldn’t highly recommend this. You can choose Cinammon Bazaar in Ashbourne or even Mehfil in Coolmine. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Hope this review reaches the owner.
