The best restaurants

19/11/2024: Staff were lovely, very fast service. Place itself is a dump, tables were filthy, wiped down with a grubby cloth. The salt and pepper tops were vile, chicken was over cooked, salad tasted awful, soup was so bland. Glass provided was grubby and spoon had someone's chunky food remains on it. Toilets are right beside the kitchen which has an open door

12/12/2024: Beautiful bar on Barrack street Cork. Was a cold December night when I Visited here but the fire was on and the place was warm and cosy. Large covered smoking area to the rear of the premises

17/12/2024: The photos of this restaurant do not do it justice. It is in a beautiful, scenic situation. The interior is beautifully laid out and the decor reflects it's origins perfectly. I can imagine eating here in the height of summer would be lovely. If the presentation of the food was less pretentious and by that I refer to the horrible presentation of the fish and chips, the oblong plates and tiny 'casserole' pots it would definitely be somewhere I would return. The food was okay but the chips were disappointing, frozen fries, not good for the price paid.

14/10/2024: Originalmente teníamos otros planes para cenar el sábado 5 a otro lugar, pero debido al personal grosero en ese lugar cambiamos nuestros planes y por suerte vinimos aquí en su lugar. Nos recibieron tan cálidamente al entrar, nuestro camarero era tan educado, feliz y amable. Todo lo que pedí se adaptó a mis necesidades dietéticas fácilmente. Cuando el camarero me vio compartiendo un poco de mi entrante con mi pareja vino a informarme que el suyo también estaba libre de gluten para que pudiera probar el suyo! Los dos nos reímos, pero nuestro camarero estaba en la pelota! Cada comida fue una experiencia increíble, nuestro camarero repetidas veces se aseguró de que estábamos contentos con todo, que por supuesto que lo estábamos. Desde que hemos cenado allí hace 9 días hemos recomendado este lugar a más de 20 de nuestros amigos y familiares y todavía hay más para recomendar este lugar también! Si usted está indeciso sobre dónde cenar, no busque más que aquí, el cuidado y la atención al detalle, la presentación de la comida, a la experiencia de sus clientes es evidentemente prioritario y el personal es realmente feliz aquí, que siempre es una gran señal!

20/01/2025: I recently had the opportunity to dine here and tried the chicken curry with boiled rice and a side of chips. The chicken curry was flavorful, though I had requested it without onions, and unfortunately, onions were included when the dish arrived. That said, the mixed meat dumplings were truly exceptional—perfectly bite-sized with a deliciously crispy exterior and a savory pork filling that was full of flavor. Overall, the food was excellent, and the experience was enjoyable. Be sure to make a reservation, as it gets quite busy, but you’re in for a great time!

16/01/2025: Surprised, good portions and authentic Cantonese and Hakka cuisine restaurant. Way better than my previous experience in another restaurant.
