The best restaurants

26/12/2025: Two night stay. Standard room which was clean, warm and large enough to accommodate two. Breakfast included in rate. Reception and dining room staff all exceptionally courteous and helpful. Good variety of hot and cold dishes available for breakfast. Dinner menu is standard fare @ thirty euro per plate. Quiet atmosphere given the time of year. Few guests. Situated on the busy N81 road in Tallaght so some might find the traffic noise intrusive. Ample compliment ary car parking available. One of the few hotels that remain open for the entire Christmas period in Ireland, seemingly. Only one negative observation - the lighting in both the bedroom and the restaurant area is rather dim and makes reading difficult. Very good value for money overall. Three star hotel but a four star guest experience.

03/03/2026: The room I got was great! It wasn't big but it was clean and cosy and perfect for my one night stay. The receptionist Jessie was great, she was kind, helpful and polite. The bar and wait staff in the bar area are brilliant, they were professional, polite, over all 100% legends. Food was good and given a great portion, loved the cutlery, dessert was delicious and everything was reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend

18/02/2026: didnt let me in for a drink because I was wearing joggers, went Tully's instead was miles better. Avoid this place

06/03/2026: Delicious and flavourfull chicken, with fluffy chips and other accompaniment. There's a bogof offer on their dinner box every Tuesday.

26/02/2026: Beware the misleading option on the app to schedule a time for delivery. Our food was delivered 45 mins earlier than requested, so it turned into a very expensive microwave meal by the time everyone was home. Customer service yet to respond, one month later.

27/01/2026: The opening hours are either not correct or they don't always open at that time. We ordered food for a private funeral gathering for collection at 1pm -through the AI order assistant after double checking the opening hours-. When I arrived to pick up the food the restaurant was closed. Fix your opening hours and ordering assistant.

30/01/2026: We've passed this place for years but never stopped in but did for the first time two weeks ago and again tonight. It's excellent. Family run and it shows. The pizza is utterly delicious. Thin base with a unique crunch cooked to perfection. We will keep coming back!

22/10/2025: The food was okay — the ramen tasted fine, but the restaurant was really dirty. The tables were sticky, the floor wasn’t clean, and the overall hygiene just made it hard to enjoy the meal. It’s a pity because the food itself isn’t bad, but the place really needs to pay more attention to cleanliness.

12/10/2025: Didn’t get a chance to try food but the cocktails were very yummy. The atmosphere was really good vibes. Walked in and somber was playing, ones of my favourite singers. The music is kinda loud but not too loud that you can’t talk. Good deals on cocktails 2 for 15 is good especially for actually good cocktails!! Had my birthday drinks here :)

12/11/2025: Excellent meal at the hotel. Lovely setting, good choice of options for all and excellent service. In particular, José was our server who was so nice; he gave great recommendations and excellent service all evening. Would highly recommend!

05/02/2026: Section booked for a going away party. Plenty of empty tables. Would not serve more than one drink to large group that work in a nearby hospital as we ‘weren’t rugby fans’ according to the bar staff that said this and were very rude and condensing towards a large group made up of mainly women.

10/03/2026: Our favourite place to eat pre COVID . We got take aways and ate outside from a limited menu during lock down. Had a late lunch here today, Tuesday as it was fairly quiet and I had vunerable people with me. It was great to be back and the menu is back to normal. We had chilli with rice , a marinaded chicken sandwich and a perfectly sized small portion of cod and haddock in wine sauce all from the specials menu. All top quality and very tasty. Great variety of choice . Best place to break for a decent meal on the Dublin/Letterkenny route. They have an EV charge point too. Couldn't recommend it enough. Lovely atmosphere and always decorated for the season. Pumkins everywhere today.
