08/08/2026: Here today for a family event. Beautiful pub, excellent kind staff. Great place for a family gathering. Plenty of room outside. Very clean with fabulous atmosphere.
16/07/2026: Had to attend a meeting here recently and while decor and atmosphere was nice inside, it took a while to be noticed at the bar when tyring to order a drink. After the staff member served several people ahead of me if finally go my order in.

They were black and discoloured with no flavour at all. It was a great chipper before the new owner came and ruined it

Satay was flavourless, ribs were all bone, salt and chilli chicken was rubbery, chicken wings were flavourless… forgot both the curry and bbq sauce.
I’ve ordered from here for the last 15 years and I will never step foot in the place again. What an absolute waste of money

15/08/2026: Me , my wife and 3 kids came here for food and a coffee and being honest Ive never been treated so well in a cafe before . Staff were so welcoming and accommodating, the food and coffee were also top notch .

31/07/2026: A gorgeous place for a coffee and bite to eat. The cakes are gorgeous and the coffee first class. Thanks you to the staff who were so friendly and welcoming and let me sit working for an hour or two while I waited for my daughter to finish a camp at the facility. I would certainly come back. 15/05/2026: I love the cafe in The Pastoral Centre under the new management. The athmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is great.
The menu offers a good mix of sweet and savoury dishes but the highlight has to be the pastries- freshly baked by Breege, a pastry chef. Definitely worth a visit.
