21/01/2025: Serves organic Dexter beef burgers raised on their own farm . Also has a farm shop. Well worth a visit.

22/12/2024: I'm writing this review for the 3rd time now. This company does not care about quality in their coffee, because if they did, they would thrive, to make sure every vacuum coffee tin is vacuumed so freshness is kept. 8 times out of 10, the coffee tins, have no vacuum and it's really annoying, because the coffee smells stale. The inconsistency of it, shows a lack of quality in the manufacturing process and and respect for the customer. I'm just tired of it! This happens to every company that gets too big, and only care about the money. There's obviously a problem with the tin the coffee comes in, and a problem with the manufacturer making it, because one tin is vacuumed and another is not. Really bad company!

27/01/2025: We had dinner today Jan 26th, with family. While our mains etc were good what stood out was a dessert of jelly and ice cream for our 4 year old. One of us had to get a knife to cut the big chunky pieces, which tasted rubbery, it wasn't at all suitable for a small child and its something for other parents to be aware of. Definitely not something we'd ask for again. Our service was excellent, we met a lovely lady, thank you .

27/01/2025: We are just back from a 2 night stay, rooms are lovely food is gorgeous but the staff made the stay they were so helpful the owner is lovely man made us feel very welcoming an big shout out to Declan the best bar man an all the bar staff yous are great, definitely be back thanks so much 😃

10/12/2024: I used to love this place years ago, but the service has gone downhill a lot, while waiting on my food other people that came in after me where being given their food alot faster, and i noticed a few others complaining about this too when I was in there last time which will be my last time. the chicken which they are well known for is still ok, not as good as it once was but the chipa in there tastes horrendous now, I used to love this place but unfortunately will not be back after that last visit due the standard of food and also the service.

05/11/2024: Fantastic place Just popped in for a quick pint, and I stayed for 4 It was my first time in since it was taken over 2 years ago. It was as if I was in my local bar in the city. Chatting with the bar tender and the locals as if I'd known them all my life, it was amazing. I really do 💯 recommend this place for a visit.

10/10/2024: We came here this morning to have a quick snack while waiting on our car to be fixed nearby. My husband had the mini breakfast and I had the soup ( which was butternut squash) and brown bread. We both enjoyed our meal and also ordered two slices of cake to take home ( coffee and carrot) both of those were also very nice. The service was prompt and professional and the cafe and toilets clean. This place has never been empty any time I've been in but we have always been able to find a seat. I've seen reviews about it being expensive but I think it's no more expensive than anywhere else in Ireland in general. Also I think the portion sizes are adequate as generally everything on the plate gets eaten and less food waste is a good thing. If you are in Edenderry and passing by definitely drop in .

04/09/2024: Overpriced €14 for chicken salad, 3 cherry tomatoes, and a few leaves and a morsel of coleslaw - wouldn’t fill a hole in your tooth!

15/11/2024: the manager is mental!!! screaming down the phone incoherently, & i mean SCREAMING then told us he would refuse to cancel our order , swearing and cursing.. we got refunded anyway thru uber eats .. the guy on the phone, who i assume is the manager, really needs to work away from serving customers !! Avoid Avoid Avoid !!!

28/10/2024: Our regular Saturday night treat is always finger-licking good. The order is always ready for collection bang on time and I’m greeted by name by the lovely people working there. Highly recommended

25/01/2025: €45 (including tip) for an omelette, and Bacon Egg Sausage and Black Pudding. 2 coffees. I think that's crazy. The card machine is then pushed at you requesting a tip if no less that 15%. Food was okay but it was breakfast and hard to get too wrong. Back portion if the restaurant was cold with constant draught. Very pleasant staff but at that price we won't be back
