The best restaurants

28/07/2026: I heard they got a new Heating system, But the don't know how to use the switch, I call it the Ice Box, even in Summer time it can be cold, But it seems to be the same in a lot of pubs lately, they seem to be allergic to switching on the heating, I won't name the rest of them, my other locals... The Manhattan, have the cheapest Pint up until 12.30 even day, €5, you couldn't go wrong 👍

16/07/2026: Went here this morning with a friend for tea & scones. Lovely cafe with a good selection and a beautiful Japanese Style garden out back with lots of tables. I had popped over yesterday to see if I could reserve a table in a particular area (required due to a medical condition). They don't normally take reservations, but I was delighted this morning to see they had saved me a table in the area I requested, even though they were pretty busy. That was very nice of them - I'll definitely be back because of this kind gesture - and the food is lovely!

08/07/2025: We had a lovely meal but more importantly, the pints were lovely, no line cleaner taste. Friendly staff, lovely character to the building. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area for the spuds. 5 ⭐

27/05/2025: Could not be a worse experience. Service was beyond appalling. Male server got the drinks order wrong, even after confirming it with us. No apology just into a huff. Customer service was non existent. Anyways, ordered pulled pork wrap. Absolutely terrible, no flavour, no rub or sauce used. Pork was hard, not shredded or pulled. Stuffed in some dry lettuce, no onion, no jalapeños, no cheese, no beans, no rice. Awful in every way. Place was deserted when we went in. Can see why. Sad

18/03/2026: Excellent Chinese, even showed how to use chopsticks by owner.

15/03/2026: Very good takeaway with a great variety of food, not just Chinese. I went back again yesterday and everything was very tasty. The menu has plenty of options and the service is always friendly and quick. I’m always happy to order from here.

Her friendly attitude, attention to detail, and exceptional service took our experience to another level. She made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. 14/08/2026: Lovely cafe, the staff accidentally took for 4 meals when I only ordered 3, I didn't notice when paying and they only realized when the 2 dishes came out. They offered me reimbursement immediately, no issues at all. Food is good, atmosphere is good, staff are excellent

16/05/2026: I had a lovely time catching up with my friend over brunch in 33 cafe in Skerries. Food was absolutely delicious, coffees were 10 out of 10, service ( lovely young people working away looking after every single detail) was outstanding. Thank you to the chefs in the kitchen. Thank you to the management of 33 cafe who were able to bring an alternative place to Skerries where we can have a coffee and a bite for a reasonable price.

23/07/2026: We have been to this bar more than once and it is a must if you in Bunclody. The staff are class and it’s always such a nice vibe. Would highly recommend.

09/06/2026: A very quiet place to spend a pleasant time. There's plenty to do on site (pool, darts, board games, etc.). The person who served us was also very kind.

17/06/2026: We arrived here to find the pub closed. We asked around and apparently it isn't often open. Don't be fooled by the opening times given.

28/05/2026: Great old pub for a quiet pint.

28/08/2026: This pub already existed when the Titanic docked in Cobh. Today it's frequented by dockworkers. I recommend it for an authentic Irish experience. The elderly lady who runs it is very friendly.

06/08/2026: Oldest pub in Cobh, friendly, right after work, a group of friends in their fifties sharing a pint and the service is pleasant. Worth a visit.
