03/02/2025: A magnificent place that makes you feel like you're in a Hollywood movie. The hospitality is at the highest level and they always smile at you. Andrei told me the history of the place and served me the best coffee in Dublin. Every time I'm in Dublin I pass by and I recommend you do as I did.

09/11/2024: “I really enjoyed eating the food at this place - an experience I just can't describe in words! The potatoes were perfect, a real treat, and at an extremely affordable price. The pizza was absolutely divine, probably the best I've ever had. My boyfriend, who is from Germany, was also impressed and told me he had never tasted anything like it before!
We also ordered taco fries, I think that's what they're called, and were amazed at how tasty they were. I would happily recommend this place to anyone! 10 out of 10 – delivery was fast and overall experience extremely pleasant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

The food is superb.
The prawns in beurre blanc were fantastic.
An amazing Veal that was so juicy and flavoursome.
The service is fantastic.
Can't recommend this place enough.
21/11/2024: Made a cake on order for an event we were hosting. The chocolate biscuit cake was phenomenal and the cake looked absolutely fantastic, really exceeded the brief all round. Thank you.

18/10/2024: Visited 2 years ago and still remember how amazing the shakshuka was. Went today but aware they close at 4pm, I rang up first. Kitchen closes at 3.30pm and we got there at 27 minutes past. We were not rushed at all. Had a triple decker and the best avo on sourdough toast ever. Can't praise this place enough. Staff and food are absolutely fantastic and spotlessly clean. We will be back on next visit to Ireland.

16/12/2024: Pub was quiet, dark and maybe too relaxing. I accidentally fell asleep for about 20 seconds whilst sat in the corner. Was actually more like a long blink. Was told to leave. I wasn't intoxicated so I think a warning would have been more than fair. Not getting asked to leave. I sensed it was more the fact I wasn't Irish. The bar man wasn't aggressive and actually seemed a fair bloke. Just perhaps racist undertones.

24/11/2024: Himalayan Lamb (recommended by staff) was outstanding…very “clean” lamb chucks cooked a red medium. Curry sauce tremendous. High praise for daal, chicken roganjosh, and garlic chili chicken. Exceptional friendly staff brought papadum while waiting. Visiting from U.S.A….Love Ballina.
01/11/2024: My sister and I visited this restaurant on Halloween night, based on a friend's recommendation.
The food was delicious, the service was great.
Prices were very reasonable.
No taxis were available after our meal to take us back to our hotel, so, the restaurant owner arranged transport for us.
We were very impressed and will return next time we are in Ballina.

15/02/2025: I got the pizza with ham and pineapple the pizza was nice but I was given pineapple that was out of date and didn’t realise until half way done that I had realised I said it to the waitress and she also said it was soar and she brought the remaining pizza into the kitchen and then came out saying that the oven does that to the pineapple I just agreed and in my head said I’m never going back they charged me full price for the pizza and put me into a bad mood for the night
30/01/2025: Popped in for quick dinner. Have heard mixed reviews. Had to come home and cook after what I had so….! Had a buffalo chicken burger. Chicken thigh in some sort of southern coating, small bun and frightened with some dressings. Small bowl of chips. I actually asked waitress if I had mistakenly ordered a kids burger! Fish and chips other half had was ok apparently. Will try again at some point as would like to have somewhere fairly local to go but it’s far too expensive for what’s on offer or at least what is presented. Fairly poor. Staff absolutely lovely though. Wouldn’t encourage us back for food at least.

06/02/2025: The selection is massive, and everything is so tasty. Loads of vegetables, fresh meat, perfect noodles or rice. Inexpensive and fast. The Noodle Box is absolutely fantastic. Can't be beaten for value and taste!!
