10/10/2025: I visited Bunsen Blanchardstown on Friday evening (October 10th), and despite the place being incredibly busy with people constantly queuing, the experience was fantastic thanks to the amazing girls working on the floor. There were only three staff members managing all the tables and service, yet they went above and beyond to make sure every customer was looked after. They were constantly on the move, multitasking minute after minute, all while staying friendly, calm, and professional. The food was, as always, top quality fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. A special shoutout to the girl working Friday evening, dark hair in two braids, wearing a North Face T-shirt, she was an absolute Wonder Woman, absolutely incredible! So kind, attentive, and hardworking. She truly deserves recognition for how well she handled the chaos. But let’s be clear, the owners and upper management should be ashamed. Having only three staff on the floor and three in the kitchen for such a busy location is completely unacceptable. The fact that these workers are forced to carry the entire operation while management sits back and lets it happen is disgraceful. Bunsen has built a great name for its food and service, but that reputation doesn’t come from the owners, it comes from the incredible frontline staff who are being stretched to their limits. These girls aren’t just doing their jobs; they’re saving your brand every single shift.

24/12/2025: This place is rapidly becoming one of my favourite pubs in the whole of Dublin. A little dingy and run down but there's nothing but the perfect pint served here. Can't wait to get back!

20/12/2025: Bald man behind bar sneezed directly on our pints, when we asked for new ones he scoffed and said we could either pay or leave with no drinks. Safe to say me and my wife left there promptly.

16/06/2026: Nice place for a drink, with friendly locals. Pool table, outdoor smoking area - nothing fancy. Live music on Saturday night by local lad on guitar which created a fun atmosphere and got the people up dancing. For those who like a late drink, be careful - the bar closes at 12 midnight on Saturday nights.. when the music stops. Nearest pub to North Beach Camping Park 🙂

04/06/2026: Amazing experience at Sultans Today. Food was delicious especially the kofta and highly recommended it! The owner was very friendly and attentive towards us and made sure we had an excellent evening. Atmosphere was nice including the music and the setting was beautiful. Definitely will be going back again!

03/06/2026: I visited Sultan Restaurant for the first time today with my wife and daughter. While the restaurant appears well-maintained and the overall infrastructure creates a positive first impression, our experience unfortunately did not live up to those expectations. From the moment we arrived, we did not feel particularly welcomed. The service came across as indifferent and lacked the warmth and attentiveness that one would expect when dining with family. Although the presentation of the food was reasonably good, the quality itself was disappointing. The taste was average at best, and the freshness of several dishes seemed below the standard one would expect from a reputable restaurant. Overall, the experience fell short in both hospitality and food quality. Given the combination of underwhelming service and unimpressive cuisine, this visit did not leave a positive impression. Regrettably, what was intended to be a pleasant family outing will likely be our first and last visit.

11/02/2026: I asked the guys to whip me out a burger quickly cause I needed to catch a train. They complied and the burger was 5/5. Top quality service well done.

28/11/2025: We were on holiday and staying in Milltown for 3 nights and decided we wanted to go grab some food and drinks at a local pub. We stopped at Larkin's Pub and immediately we knew we were in the right place the owner Mike helped us immediately and was full of great information of places to see around the area. We also came back a couple nights later on Wednesdays they have traditional Irish music being played right in the bar. Was great to listen to had great drinks and the locals were fun to talk with. If you're in the area stop by and see Mike and the rest of his crew. Tell him the farmer from Oregon sent you.

25/10/2025: Lovely Pub. I was on the way from Tralee we stop for a quick bite, good pub grub! Toasted sandwich with chips & salad, fire was blazing needed on a cold October evening. The Guinness looked good. Friendly staff and customers.

17/05/2026: I loved the toilets smelt so fresh, but i dropped my burger in the urinal, it made me cry , i went outside and coloured in the kids page and then i listened to micheal jackson on the dukebox, would defo recommend to family and friends and collegouges and old friends from school but not my neighbour john, he never cut the grass outside my house

17/05/2026: I wasn’t impressed with my dining experience today, me and my friends came for a wholesome breakfast which we THOUGHT would be nice, me and my friend ordered matcha not expecting a whole lot but we received a NEON GREEN drink that tasted like someone put a spoon of sugar and green food colouring in milk. DISGRACEFUL When i received my MAPLE BACON WAFFLE, i NEVER revieved my maple syrup (it’s in the name) i asked for some maple syrup and still never received it, absolutely terrible dining experience 😠😠

09/05/2026: Fantastic little cafe, great coffee, great staff. Lots of outside space to sit and enjoy the world go by.

28/06/2026: Great sandwiches, we tried the coronation chicken sandwich and the acai bowl. Lovely staff.

13/06/2026: Really gone down. Make you wait to be seated while there’s loads of tables free. Food arrived but not correctly made. Only half of the breakfast made it to the table. The chef probably knows what’s on the horizon. Will give this place a miss going forward and will tell friends and family. Not surprised that the sister restaurant has closed in monks town.

06/11/2025: The baristas are really friendly and make excellent coffee! The atmosphere is also fantastic. Especially if you sit upstairs, you can just switch off and enjoy your coffee in peace and quiet.

02/11/2025: Great place to chill. Awesome to have lovely well behaved dogs welcome. Staff friendly and great coffee. Setup meand tables are a bit close together and clamped. Toilet is upstairs, just a little challenging for an elderly family member.

17/05/2026: Cute little cafe with coffee and pastries. Hard working staff. Really good at multi-tasking and pushing through a lot of customers in a small shop. We ordered some soup and premade sandwiches. Wouldn’t suggest ordering a tuna melt. And the wraps were cold and soggy. Carrot and sweet potato soup was pretty tasteless. And the baked potato had been reheated 2-3 times or overcooked badly. Coffee was good and pastries were suitable.

13/04/2026: During the week there's nowhere better to get your coffee on the go. Staff are friendly and the coffee is the best

01/04/2026: Amazing food and amazing service. We went there 2 nights in a row 🤩 and it was really good! The butter chicken is really good, and also the size of the starters is pretty good and you get to try different things (like the tandoori chicken -2 big pieces in the picture or the lamb kebab -4 pieces). Really recommended

01/04/2026: We read a review saying it was the best butter chicken they'd ever had, so we had to go and see for ourselves. It was fantastic. We loved it so much we went back the next day. The service was also very attentive. Thanks to the anonymous reviewer and thanks to the restaurant team.
