17/05/2026: I don't think I have ever eaten Beef cannelloni with no sauce. Sauce holds it together, without it, its like dry pebbles. There was ample sauce on top but the mince was inedible, making the pasta too difficult to eat.

13/05/2026: Stopped by this takeaway with my husband yesterday for the first time and decided to order taco fries… little did we know we were about to have the best taco fries we've ever had and trust me I’ve tried quite a few around Dublin. It genuinely made my day. I love spending money on really good food and these were worth every cent. Not a single chip was left behind to tell the story. Huge compliments to you guys! We’ll definitely be back again and again!

17/04/2026: Honestly it’s terrible, never ever do I review food but that was a joke, garlic cheese chips tasted like shite, burger tasted still frozen and plus the LARGE garlic cheese chips was half full, never ever get food from here

02/06/2026: Staff were lovely, place was empty on a bank holiday Monday, we should have listened to our gut, food was very disappointing. There were 3 of us and none were happy with our food, chicken was tough, fish was overcooked. It's pricey too. Would not recommend.

25/03/2026: We ate there Monday evening 4 off us must say i was not impressed with the food I sent my starter back twice because it was not cooked properly and my main course was no better all of our main courses were not upto par such a pity as it looked a nice place to go i sent them a message after we went but heard nothing back

17/03/2026: OK place. Reasonable prices, wife and I ordered burgers. Not impressed, cheap cheap cheap, you can find better quality ingredients at a chipper. Place needs TLC. Staff were nice thought.

01/06/2026: SOMA was our final planned café stop in Cork, and given the strong reviews, we arrived with fairly high expectations. I'll admit that seeing multiple locations initially made me assume it was more of a commercial coffee chain, which usually lowers my expectations a little. In reality, it feels much more like a small specialty coffee group that has simply expanded successfully. We visited on a weekend afternoon and it wasn't overly busy. A few of us grabbed takeaway coffees, and I went for an iced black Americano. The coffee was well made and clean in profile, leaning more towards bitterness than acidity. There wasn't much in the way of fruit or citrus notes, and on a warmer day I think it might have felt a little heavy for my personal preference, but it was still an enjoyable cup. We also picked up some protein balls. Fair play for offering healthier snack options, but let's be honest, protein balls rarely win any awards for flavour and these weren't the exception. Service was probably the weakest part of the visit. The team came across a little cold and transactional, although it was only a brief interaction so I wouldn't read too much into it. One thing I really liked about this location was the setup. It's clearly very laptop friendly, with plenty of seating and lots of people working away on their computers. If I lived in Cork, I could easily see this becoming one of my regular work cafés. Overall, a solid specialty coffee spot with a good setup, competent coffee, and a space that encourages people to stay awhile. Not quite my favourite café in Cork, but definitely one I'd happily visit again.

16/05/2026: We were in Cork for a day-trip & looked up the best coffee spots. Hard to believe that this place was on the list. Unwelcoming, unfinished (??) interior. Pretentious/grumpy staff. Dirty tables. Coffee menu isn’t clear & if you ask any questions about it, they answer you in a condescending way, like you’re an idiot. The only good thing about the place was the quality of the coffee, but not worth tolerating bad customer service & bad atmosphere.

12/04/2026: We didn’t stay at the hotel, only dined in the restaurant. Overall, the food was quite good—typical of Irish restaurants. The steak was excellent and the staff were very friendly. There was a mistake with our order, though, and the pizza arrived much later. They apologized a lot for it, which we appreciated, and remained very kind throughout. The wine wasn’t great and was quite expensive, but the steak was fantastic.

24/12/2025: Went here on Christmas Eve and although the place was extremely busy we were served promptly and the food was divine. Staff were amazing and performed so well under pressure. 100% spot on

04/04/2026: Food itself was nice. Was disappointed to not be able to edit burgers (e.g. remove sauce) on the screen so had to order at the counter but member of staff was more than happy to help. Ladies toilets upstairs didn't have any paper in and neither of the toilets would flush.

06/03/2026: I will not be supporting the Bandon road supermacs any longer due to inconsiderate management. A week prior I ordered from a different supermac and honest mistake, placed another order and forgot to change the pick up address. I immediately called the supermacs and asked for my order to be transferred to Bandon supermacs, which they were 100% willing to do. However. Bandon supermacs was not willing to accept the transfer order from the other supermacs francise, even though they called to confirm the situation. I have been coming to Bandon supermacs every friday in support of the business, but will no longer do so.You have lost a loyal customer.

16/05/2026: I had a lovely time catching up with my friend over brunch in 33 cafe in Skerries. Food was absolutely delicious, coffees were 10 out of 10, service ( lovely young people working away looking after every single detail) was outstanding. Thank you to the chefs in the kitchen. Thank you to the management of 33 cafe who were able to bring an alternative place to Skerries where we can have a coffee and a bite for a reasonable price.

08/10/2025: Food always consistently good, staff demeanour depends on their mood. Coffee however is a roll of the dice (amazing if you get one certain barista), undrinkable bubbly muck (anybody else).

07/10/2025: sadly the day i've visited the café they couldn't serve food other than their bakery items. i didn't like the banana bread, it was too soggy and stapled dirty dishes were at every table inside. needless to say, it smelled very badly in the outside sitting area.
