The best restaurants

28/11/2025: Food was okay, not bad but not good either. The staff are friendly and fast, I actually felt kinda bad for them because it was so busy.

09/11/2025: I got burger with fries but it took like 2.0 minutes and then my food was cold . About the fries it was not fresh at all. About the burger the bread was so soaked and the meat was so tough to chew. Omg the worst meal I’ve ever had 👎👎👎

02/01/2026: Great food and nice place to come with friends or family. Don't think they pay much attention to what plays on the TV though. A movie that's definitely rated R movie was played while I was there with my 4 year old cousin. Had to distract her somehow.

22/11/2025: Order food at 12:11 and came at 13:30 just 2 medium pizza came cold and I really want a refund or compassion as this is the second time

23/03/2026: We just had a stay at the Abbey Hotel in Donegal Town. The town is lovely, lots of food and shopping options and historic sites. A great base if you want to see Donegal. The hotel was nice, they seem to be sprucing it up at the moment, nice bar and restaurant and the breakfast was lovely. Service at the front desk a little lacking.

15/03/2026: The room was spacious & nice. There was a very bad smell from the bathroom. I noticed a previous review commented on the smell too, so obviously this was never rectified. I think asking our 16 & 17 year olds to leave the bar/restaurant at 11pm was over the top, they were guests in the hotel & with their parents. They made a big deal & was very embarrassing for us. We won't be returning.

18/02/2026: Went in here for a quick drink. Had Murphys and a G&T. Prices on par with other pubs in the area and London. They had the 6 Nations game on (Ireland v Italy). Wasn't a loud pub as sometimes you expect with pubs showing sports. Would recommend

22/01/2026: Could be a good pub but the owners distaste towards the English came across very badly. Traditional Irish pub with a great selection of beers but hate the English, stay clear.

08/09/2025: What a beautiful hidden gem this place is 👌❤️ . From the beautiful location to the wonderful staff and delicious food 😋 😍 . I really cannot recommend this place highly enough . We where staying in coosan and it was just a short spin on the boat . Can wait for our next visit .

17/08/2025: Awful experience having to wait for over an hour and as told it could take longer and could not give a further waiting time. It was a birthday celebration and family were totally disappointed. Do not go unless you have hours and hours to spare with now sympathy.

29/12/2025: I have been recently visited Spice India Carrick on my way to Sligo. Highly recommended this place if you are craving for Indian spices and flavour. Such a good place with a excellent service and atmosphere

12/12/2025: Every time I go the order is wrong. Was there not even 5 minutes ago got my take away order drove back to work and It's wrong again and I can't eat it. Tried calling and the phone is off the hook. Just a waste of time and money

12/12/2025: Horrible experience tonight, waited 20 minutes for food, it was all freezing, rotten lettuce in burgers, drinks machine was not calibrated properly. Money is hard enough earned and nearly 50 euro on 2 adults and 2 kids meals for cold food isn't good enough in this day and age. As an ex burger king manager I found the service appalling, the staff hadn't a notion what they were doing, 3 staff working a drive through, just eat orders, kitchen and till. Then a bus full of people landed in after us, i'd say they're still waiting on food! Labour needs to be increased because the work standards have slipped considerably since my time working in the chain, it was actually painful to watch!

26/03/2026: we already went to the Camden several times and always enjoyed it, but tonight they didn’t let us in simply because we were women. The security guard didn’t even check our IDs even if we went there several times and could enter without any problem. very disappointing.

The security guard didn’t even check our IDs, even though we’ve never had any issues getting in before. On top of that, he mocked us from a distance, laughing, and turned away several other groups of women as well. While we were putting our cards away, he even rushed us to clear off the sidewalk. Very disappointing. We just want it to see a football game for Ireland to be qualified for world cup… Football is not men only !!!

21/08/2025: Top place, great bar tenders up for the ball hopping and friendly locals. Well worth a visit. Lovely pool tables and a juke box too.

19/05/2025: Nice locals bar, present enough staff but low marks for the lack of atmosphere, also missing a trick not serving food.

03/01/2026: The food was very tasty, the spicy was really spicy and tasty. The staff also professionally handled a drunk, who, by her own admission, was the daughter of a local clothing store owner, who was behaving in an unclassifiable manner. (Money can't buy manners and etiquette) But the restaurant is a great place, worth trying. :)
