29/05/2026: Visited The Gantly Way Restaurant for coffee and dessert. The apple tart served with custard and cream was good, definitely a strong 4/5. The coffee was tasty and well-made. To top it all off, the service was really friendly and welcoming. Worth a visit!

19/08/2025: We had one great night at the fleadh in this pub. However, on hhe second night we complained about the quality of the pints ( a new keg had been opened). We asked for new pints, which we were given. Then the barman tried to charge us for both sets of pints. We argued about the quality of our drink with the person in charge to no avail and unfortunately we left the pub feeling very unsatisfied. I just felt it was very bad customer service.

12/08/2025: Managed to squeeze in for two sessions during the Fleadh. Absolutely magic, amazing talent on both days. Unfailingly polite security staff. Good cold beer. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: Go to tramore regular with my two god children we go for a swim in splashworld, then we go for a bite to eat, recently we decided to make a change from usual places on the prom we would go for food this time we went up into the town of tramore and found that O'Shea's Hotel was open. We walked inside and were shown to a table and drinks order was taken, found setting to be comfortable warm and friendly it was fab to see open fire 🔥 on the go while there nice to see little tradition kept going. After short wait our drinks were brought to the table. And then our food order was taken by fantastic friendly waitress, she didn't leave us untill she had each order exactly as each one at table required. After short wait food was brought out and I was very surprised with what arrived at the table, i can say O'Shea's exceeded our expectations. Food was hot as it should always be and service received was total above expectations, waitress kept checking to see if everything was ok and to our satisfaction and I can not fault them. There was noting to fault them on. As for the food portions and quality of the food I'll leave pics on here so readers can draw their own opinion, all I can say is O'Shea hotel tramore thank you for the wonderful service you gave us on our visit and we plan to revisit again, keep up what you are doing as it's what customers look for and want when visiting a good business or hotel and restaurant establishment. Don't change what your doing as it works so don't try and fix it coz it is not broke.

01/12/2025: The coffee is nice enough here. I definitely think it's a good establishment in that regard. Can't comment on the pastries etc. but they all appeared quite nice. Downsides are that it is one of those cheeky places that shamelessly beckons you for a tip on the POS terminal. The price of the coffee is enough, thanks. If this is pre-programmed, you might knock it off before handing it over to the customer. And they really need to fix the deafening squeaky door, it sounds unbearable if you're sitting in there and people keep coming in.

13/09/2025: Writing a review from today 13/09/2025. Ordered a tea to sit in. The Eastern European lady did not make my tea for over 10 minutes. I stood up to ask for my tea and an Asian lady kindly made the tea immediately it appeared the first server forgot. No apology provided. As I was leaving the premises I put a paper bag in the bin for rubbish. On seeing me putting the bag in the bin, the Eastern European server removed my bag from the bin and placed it on a table and stated “excuse me don’t put that in the bin it’s yours”. It was a recycling bin so in the correct bin? She then rolled her eyes had a very negative attitude and walked away. Very rude and unnecessary behavior from this waitress. The bag was a paper bag from another premises but was clean and placed in the correct bin. Please educate your staff on appropriate customer service etiquette & if there is a policy about not putting paper bags from other premises in a bin please inform customers so they don’t have to face such an interaction as I did today.

07/12/2025: Superb. Ambience, festive decor. Amazing team. Warmest welcomes with smiles. Beautiful setting. Incredible menu, food choice & cocktails. Family birthday celebration for my husband with his sisters down from Dublin. Busy spot always. Booking advised. All round venue for scones & Tea, breakfast, luncheon and evening meals. Classy venue.

02/11/2025: Attracted by the menu we found online and as a recommended place to eat from our B&B, we went there. But they told us they don't prepare the food, when online you can find photos of ready-made dishes and even the menu. We were disappointed. Update the online pages to avoid these inconveniences for customers.

24/10/2025: Absolute gem of a pub had a great weekend couldn't have been more accommodating the staff are brilliant and dave is a little charmer would have no problem recommending to anyone thats going to be in the area

03/06/2026: What a quaint little place, however, don’t expect lobster because they don’t sell it. There is a story behind it so have someone tell you. Their cottage pie is amazing!! The staff is outstanding and honestly, kerion (?) is real easy on the eyes. 🫢

01/06/2026: Visited the lobster bar on Saturday 30th May despite pre booking a table for 8 the rudeness of the woman in charge shouting that her blood pressure was now sky high as we needed to show proof of our booking despite them ringing us to ask us to come earlier than our booked appointment as they had a large party of 26 booked in the same evening we were rushed through our meal despite food being top class this woman's customer service skills need updating the girl that served us was lovely just a shame about the way we were treated

01/06/2026: We stopped in here after leaving the iconic Sean's Bar. So glad we did! The grilled salmon was to die for! I had it with the white wine sauce. Delicious! My husband had the breaded cod. The fish was super tender and you could taste the fish. It wasn't overwhelmed by the breading. My sister-in-law had the ch8cken stir fry and literally there was nothing left on her plate! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

01/06/2026: VERY expensive sandwiches. The most expensive so far in Ireland, including Dublin, at €11.50 each. Unfortunately they were probably the worst too and definitely by a wide margin the smallest. We were expecting a really good sandwich for that price but they were very small and not worth anything like the cost. Not recommended.

16/05/2026: Delicious food! The Argentinean empanadas are to die for. The options for food are great and you can also get an alfajor if you feel for something sweet! The yerba mate options are spectacular!

14/05/2026: TERRIBLE SERVICE The company doesn't deliver on its promises and has an archaic online purchasing system. When you buy something on their website, instead of being able to pay immediately (like on the vast majority of websites in 2026), you have to wait for them to send you an invoice. When you make the purchase, they warn you that they ship orders on Saturdays. I made my purchase on a Friday at 9:00 AM, and immediately sent an email requesting the invoice so they could ship my order the following Saturday. They sent me the payment link the following Tuesday (not even Monday!), and I paid immediately. I assumed I would have to be patient and wait until the following Saturday for them to ship my order, even though they had been delayed. It's now Thursday of the week following my payment, and I still haven't received my order. In short, according to the delivery times specified by the company at the time of purchase, I should have received my order within 3 or 4 days. However, 14 days have passed and I still haven't received it. It's worth noting that this isn't my first bad experience with South American Shop, but I decided to share it because it's been the worst. I've also had expired products sent to me before. It's easy to assume they take advantage of the fact that they have very little competition in the market.
