15/08/2026: Purchased a vegetarian paneer main meal last night. Within a short time period I suffered all the classic sudden food poisoning symptoms. It’s now almost 1.30 pm the next day and I’m still in recovery after a very long night. Never again.

Quick, friendly and very helpful. we checked in very late at the hotel and to get an excellent service at the end of the day was really impresive, must say the hotel has trained their staff well. Also not sure if this is the right place to include this compliment but......the cologne he used was amazing, we all loved it.

12/07/2026: A good, modern hotel, kind staff, big rooms with a great bathroom and very good transport links. Earplugs essential!! At the time we were there (Jul 2026) they are building something behind the hotel, work starts at the site 7am! 👷‍♂️🏗💥 A note re. Heat of summer - Rooms don't have air-conditioning and a fan wasn't available.

12/08/2026: I visited Costa Edenderry today with my baby and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The manager was the person dealing with us when we came in, and I found her very rude and unwelcoming from the start. I asked if she could heat my baby’s bottle safely behind the counter, but she initially ignored me and didn’t respond. I had to ask her a second time before she acknowledged me. She then said, “We’re not really allowed to do it.” I explained that I had never had an issue with Costa heating my baby’s bottle before and asked why it couldn’t be done. Instead of offering a helpful alternative, she gave me a cup with a small amount of water in it and handed it to me. As you can see from the photo, this wasn’t a practical way to warm my baby’s bottle. As a mother with a hungry baby, I found the whole experience very upsetting. I completely understand if there is a health and safety policy preventing staff from heating baby bottles, but I would have expected a little more understanding and compassion, particularly from the manager. Most places I have been to have been accommodating when I’ve needed to warm my baby’s bottle, especially when I’m coming into the business and spending money there. I genuinely hope no other parent has to find themselves in the same situation with a hungry baby. Even if the answer was no, I believe the situation could have been handled with much more kindness, professionalism and understanding. Unfortunately, the manager’s attitude and customer service really let the experience down. I hope Costa Edenderry takes this feedback seriously.

31/07/2026: My experience at this place was extremely disappointing. Besides feeling disrespected as a customer, I was very uncomfortable with the behavior of one of the female staff members, who, in my opinion, acted inappropriately toward my husband even though it was obvious that he was there with me. I believe any professional establishment should expect its staff to treat all customers with respect and maintain appropriate boundaries. Unfortunately, the behavior I witnessed gave me the impression of a lack of professionalism and respect. Because of this experience, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone who expects respectful and professional customer service. I sincerely hope the management addresses this issue and ensures that all customers are treated with the courtesy and professionalism they deserve.

He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations and we ended up with the midweek treat and a diablo which was amazing to say the least. Will be back weekly for sure. Brilliant 👏

10/06/2026: Great little spot but we found it understaffed and overly buisy. Older crowd inside the pub much younger crowd in the brilliant beer garden.now I would have to say it was a Sunday night of the bank holiday weekend.

15/07/2026: I booked this hotel for a work trip because I have a budget to stick to. The hotels online photos and trip advisor photos do this place no justice. What I expected was a very basic old style hotel. When I arrived I genuinely thought I was at the wrong hotel. I cannot believe this is only a three-star hotel. My room is beautiful, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail is unreal. White Company toiletries, plush bathrobes, a Dyson-style hairdryer, even a clothes steamer—these are the sort of touches that might not even be available in hotels charging several times the price. I’ve stayed in plenty of five-star hotels that don’t get the basics this right. Everything feels thoughtful, beautifully presented and genuinely luxurious. Tonight has been an education to myself that sometimes the best stays come with the fewest stars. My only complaint is that everything is too nice and I haven’t done any work!

04/09/2026: Passed by this on the way to trinity and decided to dine in for breakfast. I had a sandwich packed with meats and cheese for 7.5€ which I think is a great deal. My mom had the homemade gur cake which we were told was a popular local classic. The workers were all Irish ladies who were very pleasant people and clearly love what they do, they spoke to us and were very friendly. There’s a large section of sandwich and desserts too plus a little seating area, it’s more affordable than other places and a cute spot!
