The best restaurants

10/06/2025: Restaurant idéalement situé au bord de l’océan. Nous avions réservé notre table à l’avance, heureusement car il y avait beaucoup de monde. Le personnel était efficace et sympathique et la nourriture délicieuse. Très bonne adresse.

09/06/2025: Our introduction to monks was, if we wanted to eat on the deck we would have to come inside to order and bring our own food and drinks out. We were home from Canada and it had been a number of years since I had been to Monks. The service was rude and abrupt. The Guinness was great. The crab claw starter was excellent. My sister had asked for a salad dressing on the side and was told if it was made then no she couldn’t. The triple fried frozen chips with my not fresh catch of the day was very disappointing as was having to wait and wait for the server to come back to pay.

22/10/2025: Pizzeria Blarney never disappoints the portion sizes are great, and they always put plenty of chicken and meat in their dishes. I’ve yet to try anything off the menu that I didn’t like. The food is always lovely and so tasty. Highly recommend one of my favourites

30/11/2025: Just called in to try out and now having a lovely Sunday lunch. So glad we did - food is fabulous, staff are friendly and lovely setting. Don’t hesitate to call in if you are anywhere in Fermanagh or Cavan

16/11/2025: Had the most amazing evening here with a specially curated wine tasting and food pairing for our mama group night out. The food was delicious and the wine selection from pinxtos was excellent...the meat and cheese boards and blue cheese bruschetta were particular highlights. Atmosphere was cozy and welcoming and the value for money was incredible! Will definitely be back for girls night outs!

07/11/2025: Found out my misses ordered from here got a sandwich, coffee and sausage roll. All I can say is don’t waste your money in this place!!!! Coffee she got was 300ml of hot water, sandwich if you can even call it that was anaemic chicken on 2 slices of bread and the “sausage roll” should contain more than a trace amount of meat!!!! Near €5 for a sausage roll that’s 99% pastry and is the size of a Golfball. Do yourself and everyone you know a favour and never go here!!!! Whole order was nearly €25 delivered. I’d sooner burn the money than return.

07/11/2025: Best pizza in Waterford!!! We tried this place a few months back and since then it's our regular Friday Pizza night. Amazing customer service and the owner is a gentleman!! We highly recommend it!!

15/11/2025: We stayed one night in The Coast Lodge. Our host was extremely kind and friendly and the room was superb. We had an amazing view over the ocean and the room was clean, cosy and extremely spacious. The breakfast was delicious with everything you could possibly wish for - cereals, fresh fruit, organic yogurt and honey, crepes, scones and a full Irish or any combination you liked. We will most definitely be back- it beats Trump’s place down the road hands down!!

12/11/2025: Claimed the carrot and coriander soup was vegetarian when I asked specifically and I found a massive chicken bone in it after I'd eaten half of it 😔 I don't feel they really cared either!

09/08/2025: Ordered a cappuccino for €4.20 which is quite expensive, it was cold and very weak. Lots of other coffee shops on this street, I don't recommend this one.

01/12/2025: The coffee is nice enough here. I definitely think it's a good establishment in that regard. Can't comment on the pastries etc. but they all appeared quite nice. Downsides are that it is one of those cheeky places that shamelessly beckons you for a tip on the POS terminal. The price of the coffee is enough, thanks. If this is pre-programmed, you might knock it off before handing it over to the customer. And they really need to fix the deafening squeaky door, it sounds unbearable if you're sitting in there and people keep coming in.

27/02/2026: We often visit Fifty 50 for meals. The food and service are good, and it's great for families. Upstairs, so unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

03/01/2026: Michaela looked after us Booked a table for 7, service charge added We went with the Early Bird 3 Course Meal €30.95 Decent choices, good value I went with the Spicy Chicken Wing Starter, Satay Chicken Curry 1/2 & 1/2 with the Malteeser Cheesecake option Our only hiccup was the dessert, one of our guests has an allergy to strawberry and was given strawberry. This was rectified and an alternative provided. Please make sure to cater for all, if some mentions an allergy then write down allergy. If you need the chef to come out to the table, then get the chef! Other than that, friendly courteous staff and thank you to Michaela for an enjoyable night.

22/02/2026: Great pizza, chicken and burgers. It’s like KFC, Dominos and Burger King in one place.

13/02/2026: Order food online, was supposed to take 20 minutes, arrived 25 minutes after ordering, had to wait around an additional 25 minutes to get the food. Inside wasn't even busy, food is good as always but the wait was ridiculous
