22/08/2024: One of the best , if not the best food in cavan town.. clean, great service, Friendly staff , the food is well presented and tastes good. The half chicken tastes as good as nandos and their new chips are lovely. I cant say anything bad about the food quality. The delivery is quick under an hour and usually 40 mins for the cavan twn area.

26/01/2025: Every time we pop in the vibe is immaculate. Wine and cheese selection is top notch. We're always tested with new wines we'd never usually try and we always leave happy. Staff are very helpful also.

07/01/2025: Cool spot in a central location, it's a nice place to swing by when you want a light lunch - the toasties are great but the service is sometimes a bit lacking.

30/05/2024: Went to a Celtic night at the Boardwalk and had an amazing evening, especially thanks to the lovely bartender named Louise. She made incredible cocktails - and mocktails, while being very kind and helpful. Very nice place to try it you stay in Dublin for a couple of nights.

05/05/2024: We’ve been staying here on and off for about 20 years and I’m afraid on our last few stays, the experience hasn’t been as good as it used to be. It’s still an impressive, huge bar but it used to have fairy lights everywhere making it more magical. Some of the staff both at reception and in the bar seem a bit fed up but not all of them. The rooms haven’t changed at all so although comfortable, they really could do with being updated. Impressive reception hall but as you come in the main door there’s a couple of chairs and a very scabby table. Just seems tired and neglected. Our room overlooked a side alley which wasn’t pleasant but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also no fault of the hotel is that there’s quite a few hostels all round it. On a plus side, the breakfasts are still good with something to suit everyone and we were pleased with our fish and chips at dinner one night. Vending machines in the lobbies which is handy. Toilets always clean. No Celtic nights for the three nights we were there but had a good Irish music night. It’s still nice to come back to it at the end of the day for a few drinks rather than roaming about the city at night. We will be back but it’s sad to see changes and would be nice to see some money being spent on it.

05/12/2024: Not happy…! 4,60€ for a regular quality coffee is not fair. My coffee was not good at all, a burnt sensation and not creamy at all. The 0,80€ extra for plant-based milk is too much… Not coming back!

14/02/2025: Worst Restaurant Experience Ever!! Owners greed at their best. I went to this restaurant for the valentine's day and they just didn't bring the food for over 75 mins. We asked if they could get some food for the little one which went to deaf ears. How would I expect 3 young girls to know what's it about feeding a little one. There was an old gentleman who kept asking for his food as well. Why would you take delivery orders and new customers if you are unable to serve? Horrible service.. never experienced such uncaring service in my life.

14/02/2025: Ate in previously, was lovely food but service was poor. Ordered today for takeaway at 19.43, food was delivered at 21.40 after 2 phone calls to prompt delivery. Food was borderline stale having been cooked likely an hour previous. Had called at 21.10 and was told the food would be with us in 10 minutes, the lady was rude and hung up on me when I tried to clarify if the food was out for delivery. Had to call at 21.35 as there was no sign. Will not order from here again.

02/01/2025: Still the best Guinness in Rosslare and still five star service from the majority of the employees. but we went yesterday and were definitely forgotten about and didn't feel listened to by our server. It was a little disappointing as we have not been in a few months and were really looking forward to it. We ended up having to bring it in takeaway boxes and it tasted and looked thrown together. Hopefully next time I'll be editing the review again back to 5 stars.

18/02/2025: Went here in a Saturday night. The waiter was great and took into consideration our dietary needs. I felt listened to and understood, and they confirmed with the kitchen which dishes could be gluten and dairy free. The food was really good. I had the onion Bhaji starter and Chicken Tika Masala for mains. I've been enjoying Indian food for 35+ years , this was the best CTM I've tasted. Would highly recommend the place. It was a little too spacious for me so loses a star for atmosphere, and they need to get their background music Bluetooth sorted :)

29/01/2025: Revising my five star review down to two after having ordered a delivery. Food arrived without drinks but whatever; these things happen. The driver said he'd return with my drink. An hour later, food was long finished and still no drink, so I called. They apologised and said the driver never returned, but they'd send him back immediately. Two hours later and still no drink. By that time I was ready for bed, so I told them to forget the whole thing. They offered "something on your next order", but I probably won't bother ordering again. A real shame too because the food really is excellent.
