18/12/2025: Bad service, a guy rudely came into the basement and asked people to leave the table because he had reserved it and needed it. It doesn't matter that at least 20 of us go there once a month. If u go keep in the first floor better

01/02/2026: I went yesterday with friends to this place, and I really regretted it. First, each person—even non-shisha smokers—must pay €10, which does not include a drink or food- for nothing. On top of that, you still have to stay only 1.5 hour, and you must pay at least €22 more if you want to stay longer. When we ordered shisha, it took almost 30 minutes to be prepared, and it didn’t taste very good. Hot drinks took nearly 40 minutes to arrive, and there was only one friendly, poor waitress working. It wasn’t a great experience.

01/02/2026: Visited this place for the first time and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is amazing—warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. The service was excellent, and to top it off, the owner himself is incredibly polite and gentle. Definitely a spot I’d love to visit again!

08/05/2026: It’s the best Chinese take away in Edenderry highly recommend although they can be slow picking up the phone sometimes due to inexperienced staff taking orders which in fairness isn’t a big deal. Highly recommended

24/12/2025: Rang a collection on cristmass eve and was told it would be an hour which is understandable because they were busy after 2 and a half hours we eventually got our food whitch was over 100 all good but when we got home there were 3 trays of rice missing so we rang back down and explained the woman on the phone apologised and said that they would be ready when we went back down after over 45 minutes they said they had no rice left then produced 3 trays of boiled rice with awfully scrambled egg i asked for a partial refund or atleast our next order to be discounted and was told there was nothing that she could do so safe to say ill never be back there and going by the 5 lads who were also waiting more than 2 hours I'd say they won't be back either

You come here for a proper smash burger, probably the best in Dublin—even if no one will ever say it out loud. The fries, thin and crispy, are impeccable for those who love this style. They don't use pork, but what they do with beef and poultry is top-notch. There's real substance, not just aesthetics. Unlike other city chains that invest heavily in branding, storytelling, and stage presence, here the focus is entirely on the dish. And it's a choice that pays off, for those who recognize quality. The place has a rugged and authentic soul, but there's a practical aspect that deserves attention: the smell of fried food is very persistent and risks ruining the experience. An improvement on this front would help further enhance an already excellent gastronomic offering. I keep returning without hesitation: for me, it remains the best burger in Dublin, even if few are ready to acknowledge that. 🍔

28/04/2026: I recently ordered from the plaza to change from my usual go to places locally. I ordered chicken in Sichuan and it tasted like a mix of kung po and sweet and sour. It was absolutely under par whatever they served me. I got yangzhou fried rice it was also underwhelming , dry and a bit flavourless but black / dark I’ve never ever seen a yangzhou fried rice this dark but still lacking flavour. I heard the Chinese starters & mains are the best things but for nearly 30€ for a starter main and fried rice delivered it was such a bad choice to order from here. Sometimes best not to change from the usual places or things you order. I will add the delivery was perfect the time was as stated and everything was hot and well cooked. But the flavour was just so strange from the Sichuan. Not even much heat for a Sichuan dish? 😂

23/04/2026: The food was amazing. The portion sizes are huge. For someone on a budget this place is 100% great for a date night. Could not recommend it enough. The staff are the most friendliest people i have ever come across in my life. Value for money is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ my husband said the chips are not frozen unlike most places!

17/03/2026: One of few family owned pubs still around. Jukebox and beer garden to the rear accessed via a large lounge. A lounge and bar separate. Dart board in Bar. Plenty of tvs to catch up on sports etc.
