01/08/2026: Food is always delicious. Been ordering here for years. Lots of different things on the menu and they do great deals! Gorgeous pizza

18/05/2026: Was my first time ever eating from here, my friend who I went down with recommended it and said the food was lovely, we were waiting for the food and the blonde lady behind counter looked at me shouted “order” then I approached the counter she threw our garlic bread down and then muttered a very intimidating, inappropriate threatening comment aimed towards my friend who was waiting by the front door, after leaving we realised she did not give us our waters and I did not go back in as she was very intimidating and I felt as though I couldn’t go back in due to that. I am absolutely appalled I will absolutely never eat from here again unless the appropriate measures can be taken to resolve this, as someone who works in customer service locally I find this behaviour absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. I hope I will be contacted about this further to know what steps have taken place.

01/07/2026: Staff were unfriendly and lacked good customer service.manager delivered my food to my table just left tray on table with no interaction. Very grumpy and unfriendly. There was no napkins salt or ketchup with my food I had to go and ask. Tables were filthy not wiped down from previous customers I had to eat my food from the tray.i ordered snack box. Coke had more ice than coke. Chicken breast was extremely dry like left to long in heater.i wouldn't return .

24/06/2026: It's disgusting, unsanitary, the place is dirty, the tables are sticky, they don't let you use the restroom. How long is this even acceptable? Close this place and let normal businesses thrive. Horrible place!

22/09/2026: Great service for customer who customer was deaf and hard of hearing couple. Is the best meal ever we have!

23/08/2026: Looking for the 2nd time around, coffee and quiete ambiance for MORNING breakfast- but it seems staff are chatty , too loud with a modernize music ambiance- love the old concept though.. For milk preferences make sure to remind clients the availability of milk instead they chose their own preferences before serving them.

17/08/2026: Average food, confused and unprepared staff

06/08/2026: The food was mediocre, the staff extremely unmotivated and unfriendly. Only the "boss" or "shift manager" made any effort. It wasn't very busy, and there was actually enough staff. However, they seemed more interested in transferring milk or setting a table for four with only three people. If you wanted to order, you were treated like a criminal. The employees should consider a career change.

04/06/2026: Staff very friendly made our stay memorable. Room clean and bathroom excellent. Food excellent and service 👌

31/05/2026: Stayed nine nights. The hotel and staff were amazing! Shout out to Colin! I wish I knew the other names of the staff. A small complaint was our room was not air conditioned. We came during a heat wave. Infact we had no rain our entire stay. They did bring us up 2 fans to help us sleep at night! Thank you Maldron for making my 60th dream vacation the best!

13/09/2026: We went into this premises today for a break from the work we where doing in another property close by. As we sat at bar thus beautiful elderly gentleman chatted with us and took our order,a bottle of corona, a Heineken shandy and a pint of miwadi orange...he made us very welcome, my son went outside to take a phone call and returned to us and then this other gentleman arrives behind the bar,starring at us for no reason,and asked do we know each other,he then said out straight u are not drinking here,took the drinks away from us and accused my son being stoned out his head,several times,,,my son told him off and went outside very annoyed and angry....I told him he was totally wrong in his actions and he accused myself and the third person beside me of being very very drunk....he was trying very hard to antagonise me towards him...kept saying he so so wrong with his accusations.....I stood up to leave and this gentleman his name ...he told me Jim Clarke was his name,Clarke name on pub.....he wouldn't entertain anything we were saying but kept saying everything being recorded as if to annoy us more....I told I will be taking this matter further, asked him could I borrow a pen cand he told me what to do with myself.....my son came back in to bring me away and raised the high chair enough to lift over the foot rest at the bar and this Mr.Clarke started accusing him of attempting to throw thus high chair....we told him we we placing the chair back the we found it and hoped all his supposedly recording system sees this ....he was so rude and his accusations where unbearable and unbelievable....could not believe his actions.....hope people get to read this....it's outrageous and will be followed through on our begslf without a doubt

22/08/2026: Untrustworthy, disappointing ordered food at 8pm.. after 2 hours and 5 phone calls being told it would be 10 minutes.. 10.30 and no food. Told we would not get our food. Toast for dinner on a Sat night. Would NEVER order from here again.

27/08/2026: Stopped in for a drink, lovely staff food looks really good and a decent menu, pretty busy so maybe reserve a table. Easy parking outside and big car park across the road.

08/09/2026: Dropped in here today with my wife, 2 year old and 4 month old after a walk on the beach. Classic rural Irish bar. Immaculate inside. Couple of old boys at the bar. Local pictures, lifeboat memorabilia, Irish rugby and GAA imagery on the walls. Fantastic pint of Guinness and nice glass of wine. Fairly priced. Only staying for a few more nights but if I get the chance to return I will.

06/09/2026: We spent one night here and it was very good. The room was lovely, decorated in a nautical and modern style, and the accommodation is indeed located at the western end of the island with a very short walk to the beach. All our requests were catered to at breakfast.

04/09/2026: It looks super modern and spacious. But I don't think they have enough staff to serve on the terrace. We ended up getting up to order at the bar. And once they served us, they didn't clean the table after the people who had been eating there before (so I had to ask them to). The Guinness wasn't poured very well, to be honest (photo attached). I liked the place, the terrace, and the views. And the drinks are reasonably priced. I give it a 3.

09/08/2026: The view was spectacular and the food was delicious. The wait staff were attentive.

28/08/2026: The beer was nice. The margherita pizza was bland - the child’s pizza by contrast actually looked handmade and authentic and a nicer sauce vs the adults pizza which looked shop bought. Didnt feel a genuine Italian pizza restaurant.

19/08/2026: Highly recommended, chef recommendation risotto was delish , also we mention there is a birthday person with us, they made us a suprice with ice cream and candle and happy birthday song.. it was such a sweet moment.. thank you very much 💗
