The best restaurants

11/02/2025: Went in there on the bank holiday Monday. We love the food there but was very dissappointed with the service. Ordered our food and drinks and got the drinks. We were waiting 40 minutes for our food. Multiple people came in ordering takeaways and about 7 takeaways went out and we still hadnt been served. My partner and I decided to leave and he paid for our drinks. When he want to the counter the girl behind the counter was quite rude. Not one person working there asked why we decided to leave or anything. While the food is lovely the service for seating is very dissappointing.

11/01/2025: The food was ok but the toilets were dirty and the restaurant front was unclean. The tables were sticky, the walls and doors were filthy.

12/01/2025: Love the Yaki soba from this place. Tonight I ordered a Satay chicken which was supposed to be mild as per description, however my mouth is on fire and my boyfriend, who tried it as well, confirmed it is hot. I couldnt finish it

10/01/2025: Great for vegetarian and coeliac/gluten-free. They have always been ready to adapt dishes, swapping meat for tofu or excluding gluten-containing ingredients. I am a very sensitive coeliac but I have never been sick after Soba. The staff are also exceptionally nice.

23/12/2024: Large portion of fish & chips, good value. Only thing was the batter wasn’t crispy enough, too doughy.

26/11/2024: Amazing value and fresh food and Victoria the owner helps my child pack her bag with the food as she can’t manage on her own due to disability. Really great pricing.

03/02/2025: We stayed here for 4 nights and honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough. All the staff are so lovely and helpful they can’t do enough for you. It’s very clean and the food is delicious also! Can’t wait to come back, Thank you all

27/01/2025: Room is really clean and spacious double bed is huge and super comfortable mattress. Staff are so friendly and the food is lovely cooked fresh to order so u wait a little bit longer but it's worth it we had tempura chicken which was lovely and the homemade curry and the smokey bacon burger couldn't fault anything very nice and reasonably priced breakfast was lovely

27/01/2025: Very simple place and basic, limited food menu with unreasonable prices. Not a very friendly staff. The music playing is badly adjusted so you can only hear the repetitive bass all the time, annoying. With such nice places in the neighborhood it's impressive they're still open.

29/11/2024: Very poor customer service. I was just there this afternoon and these 2 girls at the counter has absolute zero personality. They kept talking between themselves and were both busy on their phones. My coffee took a while to be made by the “barista”. No excuse. C’est La vie is not how it used to be.

12/01/2025: We dined inside. The service was just dreadful, asking & re-asking for our food. Young man taking orders had no interest in his job today! No one was clearing tables & they just stayed stacked up with dirty crockery. All very disappointing.

25/01/2025: This place is an absolute joke. Had a booking for 10 for 6.30. Didn't get our starter until 7.30 waited until 8.15 for a main that was cold and was taking forever to serve. Staff were completely ignorant and was told we still had to pay. I paid for my starter and we all left. Nearly 2 hours sitting there and not a sorry nothing. Might be 20e for an early bird but even if you don't get it your still told you have to pay for it. A jug of water with a squirt of orange and 4e there charging. Never waste my time or money in there again. Awful restaurant.

24/12/2024: I went into this restaurant today (Christmas eve)with my family of seven. We ordered starters which was OK. The problems was when we ordered our main courses. I had ordered scallops in black bean but they brought out prawns in black bean sauce they must have asked 5 times who ordered the prawns meal. I said I had ordered scallops. They were not really believe me but I repeated that i had ordered scallops They brought out 5 of the meals for the family but didn't bring out my grandsons meal. They had brought out the chips and rice for him but not the meal which ment the rice and chips were cold when his mains arrived much later. I sat and waited for my main course while my family finished their meals. Eventually my scallops arrived and when I cut a piece to eat it was freezing cold in parts. I went up to the waitresses and told her i would not be eating the meal. I was so let down by the services it ruined the meal that we had been looking forward to. I would never go back I could have been really sick had I eaten the scallops.

23/01/2025: Not the review I want to be leaving as the food is very nice but today I went and collected my take away but for the 4th time they have given me the wrong order , I really like this restraunt and food but I need to be getting the order I ask for !!

22/01/2025: Not trustworthy if you have an allergy or intolerance. Previously was told the poppadoms are gluten free (fried in separate oil) and I double checked with every order to make sure. Tonight I was told that the poppadoms aren't gluten free. I explained that I had been told they were before by someone else. The man on the phone basically ignored what I said and just wanted to know if I wanted anything else with my order and that it would be 25 minutes. Extremely dismissive, no apology or explanation provided for the misinformation. I have been eating here for 17 years and was diagnosed as coeliac 3 years ago, so I need to eat gluten free. Very very disappointing, sad to say I will never return here.

14/12/2024: Beware when ordering online, i ordered online twice and one time it didn't arrive at all and the second time it took nearly 2 hours. They also don't bother replying to messages.
