The best restaurants

08/09/2025: Really nice cafe and great deal for açai lovers. An açai bowl (that you get to pick the contents of) and ANY coffee for €12. The açai is nice but not a strong flavour so that may be a deterrent for some. Coffee is good enough and they are generous with syrup. The toastie is one of the cheapest in cork (€5.50-€6.50) and it is nice quality. The cafe is dog friendly which is great especially if you’re walking at the lough. Would recommend!

18/05/2026: Food was incredible, drinks were cold and delicious and the single guitar player that was playing the night we were there mad with absolutely incredible. 10/10 would recommend to friends to try it out!

14/04/2026: I've been a loyal customer for years and recently me and my friend keep experiencing stomach issues after the food , no matter the dish we always feel ill for a couple of days which has never happened to us before and it's sad because we love this takeaway and have been loyal for years, it might be the oil, I dont know though, but whatever it is it has to change, ive heard a few people had similar experiences

07/05/2026: Over priced for bad food, got fish twice out of here and the batter was soggy on both occasions. Worst fish I have ever had

12/12/2025: Why are the lights always kept on. The ticket prices are way too much. I think this odeon needs an upgrade it could be a much better place to watch films.

21/06/2026: This is one of the hidden gems in Cork. It was a place that I was recommended by a friend. I had never heard of the place. When I went it has a chill atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. A must visit for a nice glass of vino.

30/10/2025: Put my order on the self serving machine and selected pay with cash. Standing waiting on my order to find out 20 mins later it didn't even go through. Then when they did make my order it wasn't even the correct order. Waste of a lunch break.

11/09/2025: The toasties are amazing, full of flavour, you can ordered the signatures or create one with their ingredients. You can eat there or take away. Definitely you should go and try for yourself

30/10/2025: The employees are chit chatting with customers and make the rest wait until they're done this happened twice.

23/10/2025: There is a female manager there that is very rude. She spoiled your time there, when you just want to have a coffe and a moment of peace, as she is constantly angry and screaming at her staff. I saw her staff, mostly young people, being over stressed and one was with tears, I assume is not a nice place to work for.

20/11/2025: Lovely little café with fab homewares. A few high chairs would be great!

16/10/2025: Love coming in here apart from one issue.. staff. In fairness one in particular. Don't know her name, middle aged lady with short blonde hair. Anyway each time we go in there we are made to feel like we are an inconvince to her. Never a nice word or a thanks. The others are lovely to be fair but I seriously hope whom ever she is has a better day the next time we are in.

06/01/2026: This is a lively pub, especially if you’re into live music—it’s definitely worth checking out. On weekends, it gets busy and energetic, with a great buzz. If you prefer a calmer, more relaxed evening, weekdays are the way to go. The place itself is huge, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, so there’s usually space no matter when you visit.

23/05/2026: If I could give more than five stars, I certainly would. My friend and I were here the week we were in town and we ate here almost every day. He had breakfast every day, I had the pancakes almost every day. The apple and cinnamon pancakes are wonderful. I fell in love with the iced tea here. Everything was perfect, extremely high quality, everything was fresh. I recommend this place 100 percent.

07/05/2026: The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices are rather high for an Asian restaurant. Alcoholic drinks, in particular, are very expensive. The ambiance is very bland, and Christmas lights as decoration in May are, frankly, out of place.

09/04/2026: Got a take away from here the chicken curry was un edible the curry was like powdery water and no flavour , egg fried rice bland . Black pepper sauce didn’t taste anything like black pepper. We ended up just putting it all in the bin waste of 30€ Gutted

29/06/2026: I already knew Pret A Manger from London and am always happy to discover a branch when I'm out and about. It's perfect for a quick and easy breakfast or a fast snack. I had the Posh Cheddar & Pickle Sandwich and the Big Apple Bowl. Both were fresh, delicious, and I really enjoyed them. We were also particularly impressed by the friendly staff. The Smoked Salmon & Egg Protein Plate didn't come with dressing, but after we asked, they immediately added some free of charge. If you're looking for a quick, easy, and tasty meal, this is the place to go.
