28/01/2026: Super friendly staff, food is good and prices are fair. Hidden gem in the Cork landscape

23/10/2025: Seems to be only a haven for racist and fascist ideologies. Walking down the street, I took off a sticker for an openly fascist political party on a pole near the cafe. Almost immediately, three men ran out from the cafe, dressed in clothes that indicated they worked there. They screamed at me, threatened me, and intimated that they had put up the sticker. I have no idea if the owner holds these views or is aware that at least three people working there do so, but it certainly casts doubt on the cafe’s name and reputation.

14/02/2026: I previously reviewed Lemongrass quite high, but after my visit today I have to lower it massively. Such a disappointing visit. Starter came out at regular timing and was delicious, but then we seemed to have just been forgotten for 50 minutes for our mains, despite several members of staff and we think the manager coming up to us to check on us multiple times. This was fine, whatever. Our main finally arrives, noodles were very greasy for my partner so she couldn't finish them, and an extra portion of chips we asked for were forgotten and had to ask for them again, another 5-10 minutes to get those. Once we finished and plates for main taken away, another 15 minutes for desserts to show up. We come to pay and because we were waiting so long they would "only charge us for starters, desserts and drinks". But sure didn't they double charge those so they didn't miss out on too much money? €68 euro for "2" starters, "2" desserts, 1 portion of chips, and 3 drinks (which were just cokes btw, nothing alcoholic that could've possibly bulked up the price). Other people arrived, were served, ate, and left before we got our mains. Can safely say I'm never going here again.

14/03/2026: ODERD TRUE JUST EAST. NO CHIPS WITH DELIVERY. DROVE TO STORE TO BE TOLD ITS JUST EARS PROBLEM. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW AS MCDONALD'S PACK THEN SEAL THE BAGS FOR DELIVERY? MANGER VERY RUDE AND DIDNT WANT TO HELP. BRLIVR HER NAME WAS OGLA OR SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES. 3RD TIME THIS HAS HAPPEND SO WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN

14/02/2026: Very slow service. The staff ignored us and were not bery friendly. We waited for menu for over 20 minutes before they noticed we didn't have menus . Then after ordering we left before meal was ready as we waited from half seven to almost 9pm before ur meal was ready. Everyone who came before us was being served and looked after. The staff just ignored us like we were invisible. I have never felt like this in a restaurant in my while life. Will never visit this place ever again and will never recommend it to anyone i know

A bartender who treats you condescendingly from the start and even forbids you from participating in an internal discussion because it doesn't reflect his own. Absolutely fascist idiot and a disgrace to this beautiful country. Feck this cunt.

06/02/2026: We had such a fantastic time here with the boys. The atmosphere and food were outstanding. Unfortunately my dog, Lisa 🐶, didn't win this time but better luck next time. If only her legs ran as fast as her mouth! Ha..Ha.. We had a great night out. Looking forward to coming back.

25/06/2025: Was visiting Monaghan and randomly dropped in here. We had coffee and two fallafle wraps. The wraps were amazing and very flavoursome, whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing. Service was also great

24/09/2025: Food is soooo tasty, we loved the black bean sauce curry with egg fried rice. The sweet and sour soup was a little too sour but everything else was absolutely delicious.

27/10/2025: An excellent lunch spot when walking the Boardwalk at Arcers. Lovely staff. Delicious food. Will come back to stay for a night.

13/09/2025: If you're looking for good food, good Guinness, and a cosy atmosphere, this is the place! Very generous helpings for the price, and lovely staff. (And if you want to try Drumshanbo Gin this is a great place to enjoy it)
