17/02/2025: Me, my partner and our 4y.o. son went to restaurant for Sunday family meal. At the entrance we asked for table and we were told to wait a moment. After around 10min we got information, that one table just paid and they have to clean the table. We end up waiting around 15min at the door for table. We did not get even menu to have a look of what we want to order. On the little table at the door it was menu marked for T/A, so were not sure if sit in menu will be the same. I would like to add also, that upstairs restaurant has tables as well and they didn't use them. We order starters : garlic bread, garlic bread with peppers, chicken and cheese and chicken wings. Garlic bread was terrible ! Slice of bread grilled with some butter. Terrible presentation. Wings - 4 wings on the table and bad presentation as well. My son order pizza from kids menu and he wanted a little bit of plain pasta on the side. We were charged 7.50e for pizza and 7.50 for plain pasta! You clearly need more ingredients for pizza and pasta so where is the logic in this price ! They don't serve tap water or MiVadi and forcing You to buy drinks. We also had some wine, beer and juice for child so its not like we were trying to avoid paying for drinks. I would like to add also, that I had lovely view from my table on waitress in black shirt standing in kitchen, eating food, licking her fingers and go straight away to serve other customer without washing her hands! We left 120e in restaurant and we will never come back there!

12/02/2025: I visited Athlone for the first time last weekend with my friends, and we were looking for a place to eat when we found Di Bella, an Italian restaurant. The ambiance was decent, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered garlic bread with cheese, pasta, and Coca-Cola. Unfortunately, the garlic bread was the worst I’ve ever seen—it was just plain white bread with cheese on top, and the quality was very poor. It tasted bland and completely missed the mark. At that point, I lost all hope for the meal. The pasta was slightly better than the garlic bread but still very basic and underwhelming, especially considering this is an Italian restaurant. It lacked the authentic flavors I was expecting. The only good thing? The Coca-Cola. Overall, a very disappointing experience. The food was low quality and lacked taste, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a proper Italian meal.

28/12/2024: Ordered a hot dog and cheeseburger meal, was asked what drink I wanted at the counter. Total came to €13, when I received my order and arrived home there was no drink or chips in the bag and the "cheeseburger" was a plain patty between two buns. And as for the hotdog, I was given a battered sausage!!! Terrible attention to orders. Have to give one star as the chips were excellent but I wish I had my own to eat and not my friends :((

19/12/2024: Absolutely disgusted I got two taco fires two cans of coke and an extra taco sauce the price was not justified for what we got I am absolutely appalled of how the food tasted and looked will not be going back again

18/01/2025: Just ordered big order for the fussiest people ever well when I say there wasn't a chip left the food was absolutely amazing everything was 10 out of 10 thank you San Rena all 15 of use where extremely happy best kebabs n burgers we've had since moving to Kells.

25/01/2025: Unfortunately this restaurant has deteriorated in recent times. Waited forever for our food. Had to ask for knives and forks. The restaurant needs a paint job, it's looking very tired and old.

12/01/2025: We went to grab breakfast on Sunday morning, it was busy and staff did their best to accommodate their customers. It is a beautiful cafe and a good place for breakfast.

14/02/2025: just stayed here for 2days .found the staff very friendly room very clean and warm .natasha serve us very well at the bar 🍺🍺..didnt do breki ..so cant comment on that...only down side there is no parking ..had to park on street so your running out to keep the metor top up till 6pm then its free till 9 the following morning 😡those of use on a budget ther is loads of little cafes around the outside of hotel and cheap and cheerfull.☕️🥨🍳🧇hope this may help anyone staying here 🇮🇪☘️

14/02/2025: hi stayed here for two days great hotel clean room lovely warm water when showering staff are really nice and friendly and lovely clean hotel with great shops and cafes all around got my nails done across the road very cheap compared to dublin and they were amazing
