09/03/2026: Bar was full of fox hunters, they had just been back from watching their dogs rip apart foxes. Found out afterwards this is where they meet. Did not like the atmosphere.

02/02/2026: Very friendly landlord, pub has a great atmosphere would definitely visit again. Camper stop is Basic but had all we needed.

27/12/2025: Good chow mein, but mixed up order and made chicken only instead of special, very small amount of meat either.

06/03/2026: The food is good but the tiny portions at an expensive price spoil the whole experience. Very very mean considering 90% of the food is vegetables.

13/02/2026: I get food from here regularly and food is always lovely and fresh but when I went to pay it was 50c more than usual and I always get the same thing. I didn’t question I just paid and looked after and I was overcharged (i checked Deliveroo as well) I know it’s only small but I have found this recently around cork places they put on these little charges hoping no one will notice and it all adds up. It’s already expensive enough without adding secret charges

16/02/2026: Complete and Utter Disgrace of an establishment. I ordered a pizza and it was burnt all around the edge. When I called on the phone to let them know I was told "It's not burnt only the crust is burnt". As though the crust is not part of the pizza and it's completely normal to eat burnt food? When I complained that the food is unedible because it was burnt I was told "It just looks like that because it doesn't have any sauce it's not burnt" and "do what you want". When I got to the place with my pizza I was literally given out to for the pizza being burnt and told "There was nothing wrong with it because the bottom of it was fine". Again it was burnt. Staff members did nothing but watch the situation while the OWNER herself told me to shut up and spoke to me like I was an inconvenient idiot. These people will give you burnt food like your some kind of animal and then shout and curse at you because you don't want to eat food that can cause cancer. The owner herself is angry, unprofessional and mentally unhinged. To think you would tell a customer to eat burnt food and curse at them when they complain COMPLETELY DISGRACEFUL avoid, avoid, avoid

08/01/2026: Came here for the Fish & Chips we enjoyed a year ago. Unfortunately, the waiting staff was extremely unmotivated. (Gave us a drinking cup: "what is that?" "I don't know, I don't pour the drinks") Really takes some of the fun out of going out to eat. Chips were a bit overfried, mushy peas bland. I liked the fish, even though it was not exactly obvious to me whether I actually got the "larger" fillet as described for "Dino's Special".

16/02/2026: Quality went down the loo. Delivery is always a gamble on what are they gonna possibly mess up this time. I left a review here 7 years ago that was 5 starts now I wouldn’t even feed this to the seagulls. Food arrives cold, you order a max meal and they send regular the list is endless.

01/02/2026: Very disappointed with our experience. We ordered the Chateaubriand, which arrived overcooked and appeared under the stated weight. We were also charged for an extra sauce that we did not order. Drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive, and when the steak was served, the hot plate was placed awkwardly at one end of the table which was very hot and one of us had to move with bare hands. Overall, the service and food fell well below expectations for the price. It is particularly disappointing as this is a local restaurant for us, but unfortunately we will not be returning

23/12/2025: I ordered a brownie and an americano. The brownie tasted like it was only half cooked. The coffee was just plain bad.

22/12/2025: Disappointed with our visit this morning. Barrista had zero Christmas cheer and it kind of set the tone. Got our order wrong too which didn't make things better for either of us (was corrected). Given how busy it is in town this morning, I would not be surprised if she had been left single-handed which contributed to the tone. The coffee was great though (I pop in regularly enough) so hopefully it was just the grey dreary weather getting to her. 😢

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, the lunch offerings were very limited, just a few toasties. But they also had mussels, and they were really great. Otherwise, a typical small-town Irish pub.

31/12/2025: Hi came in for tea food waiting along time no one came take my order women with purple hair and son there girl short black hair working on this day . came with food 3 men come in every day just like me come in every day never asking me if I want order food very bad asking me take what put up down came back in man Noal came up to me telling me take it down its my right put it up if not doing job right who do you think are tell me take it down Cork people don't take this well never eat have tea this place people ask me about it tell them stay away not good place
