17/01/2026: I’ve been a regular at The Cottage Little Island for some time, but my recent pizza takeaway truly impressed me it’s convenient and easy to locate Their pizza—especially the “Cottage Special” with pepperoni, chicken, doner meat, ham, sweetcorn, mushrooms, and peppers—is always cooked to perfection 🍕. It delivers on both flavor and portion size, making regular orders feel consistently satisfying The Cottage consistently offers a wide, appealing menu—encompassing kebabs, burgers, garlic bread, and more—at great value. The ordering process is smooth, whether online or in person, and their staff are friendly and efficient What stands out: • Fantastic, reliably tasty pizza and a varied menu • Excellent service—fast, friendly, and professional • Great value, with meal deals and deals like “2 × 12″ pizzas + sides” I highly recommend The Cottage for anyone craving a delicious, no-fuss pizza takeaway in Little Island. Whether it’s a quick dinner or a weekend treat, it never disappoints.

10/01/2026: Hadn't visited the cottage for a while but our last two visits have been great. Last time we were there we got the spice bag and a pizza. The chicken in the spice bag was lovely not hard crispy dried up chicken like most spice bags ive had! Was happy we asked for the sauce on the side as it could have taken from the spice bag itself! The pizzas are really good too! Not greasy or soggy like some pizzas you'd get in typical pizza joints. Would recommend!

01/10/2025: Lovely local bar. Always fun with the regulars. Perfect separate party room space too. Lovely stove fire during the colder seasons. Pool table, live sport also. 10min walk from Sligo town and last pub before Rosses Pt if you are heading from town. Bus stop and E bikes stop right outside door.

31/12/2025: Place is absolutely milking people with their tapas / sharing plates for 15 quid. I went there with 4 friends. We were initially under the impression that 15 euro per person = 4 plates. 2 plates of food were served Food was fine but in no reality was there 60 euro worth of food on those 2 plates. If going, you're better off ordering something off the normal menu for less, if that is an option. Bouncers at the door seemed a bit short tempered / needlessly aggressive also, barking at people as they came in to give their names / confirm booking. Just gave us a bad vibe before we even sat down to eat. Overall not a great experience here and wouldn't be rushing back.

03/02/2026: Oliver Dunne restaurants proprietor Acting Manager Assistant Manager "Gaspar " attended to the probel eventually I was asked to leave my seat at The Morehampton after spending over !€100 On food and drink with my partner A guy was screaming loudly on his phone while I was trying to enjoy a quiet couple meal in "the restaurant" part Meanwhile an abusive single guy sitting over his one pint told me to "shut up" when I asked him to have his loud video call with earphones. I felt intimated and was immediately moved to a different table, it was beyond shocking despite fact ambience and decor was typically good, lovely lounge girl and fabulous food, this took away from the experience and I will endeavour to write to the owner Oliver Dunne.

The quality is exceptional, and the attention to flavor and presentation really shows. Guests are always thrilled and appreciative, which motivates the chefs even more to continue innovating and delivering excellence. Beyond the food, The Morehampton is a true community hub. 21/02/2026: Rude security wouldn't let me wash my hands before eating a burger (with my hands!).

15/02/2026: We were not informed about the extra price of the garlic cheese price, but how else would we check it if menus are non existent here. Rude customer service and it’s really cold here.

13/02/2026: I get food from here regularly and food is always lovely and fresh but when I went to pay it was 50c more than usual and I always get the same thing. I didn’t question I just paid and looked after and I was overcharged (i checked Deliveroo as well) I know it’s only small but I have found this recently around cork places they put on these little charges hoping no one will notice and it all adds up. It’s already expensive enough without adding secret charges

04/08/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved the Meat Lover Pizza from Mumbai Spice! The 16-inch size was perfect, packed with delicious, juicy meat, and the bread was soft and fresh. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I’m very satisfied and will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend it to all pizza lovers!

09/03/2026: Bar was full of fox hunters, they had just been back from watching their dogs rip apart foxes. Found out afterwards this is where they meet. Did not like the atmosphere.

02/02/2026: Very friendly landlord, pub has a great atmosphere would definitely visit again. Camper stop is Basic but had all we needed.

16/02/2026: Complete and Utter Disgrace of an establishment. I ordered a pizza and it was burnt all around the edge. When I called on the phone to let them know I was told "It's not burnt only the crust is burnt". As though the crust is not part of the pizza and it's completely normal to eat burnt food? When I complained that the food is unedible because it was burnt I was told "It just looks like that because it doesn't have any sauce it's not burnt" and "do what you want". When I got to the place with my pizza I was literally given out to for the pizza being burnt and told "There was nothing wrong with it because the bottom of it was fine". Again it was burnt. Staff members did nothing but watch the situation while the OWNER herself told me to shut up and spoke to me like I was an inconvenient idiot. These people will give you burnt food like your some kind of animal and then shout and curse at you because you don't want to eat food that can cause cancer. The owner herself is angry, unprofessional and mentally unhinged. To think you would tell a customer to eat burnt food and curse at them when they complain COMPLETELY DISGRACEFUL avoid, avoid, avoid
