The best restaurants

01/02/2026: DO NOT GO HERE INSECTS IN FOOD Myself and my boyfriend ordered two subs each today and after my boyfriend took a bite of his we noticed small grey insects crawling out of the food. We called them up to let them know and the person on the phone was horribly rude kept saying "what's the problem" after telling them there's insects in the food. He said "well then take a picture if that's true". We'd already threw the food out in the bin because I was horrified. Honestly a horrible attitude to have from the staff and I've gotten sick from the thought of it all.

01/06/2026: I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I felt I had to share my experience. I arrived around 9pm and asked if there were any rooms available. The receptionist told me to wait, which was fine, but then he seemed to completely ignore me while he got on with other things. Every time I tried to ask a question, I was brushed off or ignored. In the end, I was left standing there for about 20 minutes before he finally told me they had a room available. I had no issue with having to provide a credit card for security purposes, even though I had already paid cash. My problem was with the attitude and lack of customer service. It was frustrating and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying guest. The room itself was quite old and tired-looking. There was a very stale smell when I walked in and the curtains were broken, which didn’t give a great impression. There was also loud music coming from the function room that continued late into the night. While it wasn’t ideal, it honestly wasn’t the worst part of the stay. For €120, I wasn’t expecting luxury, but I did expect a higher standard of customer service. Overall, it’s a budget hotel that’s seen better days, but the poor service was by far the biggest issue. A warm welcome and basic courtesy go a long wa, and unfortunately that was completely lacking during my stay. I wouldn’t stay here again.

16/06/2026: These guys are the best. Only once from probably 100 visits the quality was bad. They were very professional and its still on of my favourite places. All staff super friendly and great food. Highly recommend

26/09/2026: Very disappointed that coffee is only served in plastic cups these days. Otherwise the coffee is decent.

20/09/2026: The workers blatantly ignored me for like 5 minutes while I waited at the counter in front of them whilst they were chatting and very much not under staffed. I had to ask one of them to be served and once I did she was rude. The food however, was great.

30/06/2026: They manage to strike a balance between the traditional charm of a fast food joint and the quality of a restaurant. Their highlights include quality of the ingredients and the staff's attentiveness.

28/04/2026: Absolutely disgusting the worst I have ever seen. The chips yuk barley heated the donor had 4 pieces of meat no curry sauce for the crap chips. Honestly people not worth a visit.

08/08/2026: Called earlier after calling every other Chinese in blanch to get a shredded beef with sweet chilli sauce. Something that is not on the menu. Dragon in where the only ones to make this dish for me in there exact words we don't have on the menu but we will make it for you. Amazing service. I haven't had this dish since moving out of my home town ten years ago and while eating this it tasted exactly the same as I'd did ten years ago 10 out of 10 cannot fault the taste and can't fault the customer service very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

14/09/2026: Not impressed got 7 inch pizza veg was raw on it ordered beef box got a plain chip got a spice box absolutley in eadible (dog even refused it ) pizza max bundoran you need to up your game food absolutley rubbish $/40 euro down ended up having to cook food

05/09/2026: Went in here asked for a large kebab meal wat I got was a load of bread wrapped up like a Christmas present I've picked more meat out my tooth wit a tooth pick never again unless u want to lose weight lol

27/07/2026: I got breakfast here the sausages were nice the toast was lovely And the rest of the food was alright to be fair the seats were very dirty And the tables were greasy I might come back for just sausages and toast!

01/08/2026: I order from this Starbucks every day. Every single weekend the workers do not even try with the coffee compared to the week days. I pay for extra cream and syrups and every Saturday/Sunday the coffee is undrinkable due to not adding the things I’ve paid for.

18/05/2026: The best Starbucks in Dublin! Lovely staff, lovely coffee, you guys should try white mocha with oat milk, Neslin is an excellent staff, super friendly 10/10

29/07/2026: All the takeaways in this town run and worked by non-nationals BUT Yvonnes is owned and run by local IRISH people and their burgers etc are lovely. Definitely the best place in Ennis for takeaway food

08/04/2026: I asked for fresh fish, and it very clearly wasn’t. There was the thinnest piece of fish and it was mostly batter the whole way through so in the end wss totally inedible to me. The chips were ok. Ordered some chicken goujons which were the only redeeming part. I started to read the reviews after I had ordered - so I regretted my decision fairy fast!
