The best restaurants

04/05/2025: Rip off for the amount of food you get, or there lack of. Paid €8.50 for a cod, don’t get chips or anything with that. Doner kebab meal came with probably 2 strips of meat and a small dribble of garlic sauce for €10.95. Food taste, wise was bland. Shocking prices for quality. Do better

13/07/2025: Bouncers there are awful and xenephobic. Denied entry purely because I’m not Irish. I don’t drink alcohol so I wasn’t drunk. No reason given for no entry except for ‘not tonight’, two nights in a run. But they would then proceed to let plenty of others in after me, different bouncers on both nights so it’s clearly a venue policy. Venue looked dead from what I could see, crap.

17/03/2025: Had a meal here on St Patrick's day, the lady serving us was fantastic. Checked back with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was nice.

09/02/2025: This may be a nice hotel! Booked on a well known hotel website and paid before we arrived to stay. We anticipated staying in a hotel room in the hotel with access to bar for a cosy relaxing hotel stay etc. It turns out, that the only staff member on duty was the night porter, who seems a lovely positive good humoured person and he assisted us by turning on the heating in our room. Earlier in the afternoon as I checked in I was told at reception, that the hotel bar and the hotel was closed for the evening/night as it was the night of the staff party. The room in 'the annex' in which we stayed was spotlessly clean and modern. The annex is a separate single storey building in a lane way to the rear of the hotel not physically connected to the hotel; therefore more akin to an air bnb letting. There was internet, coffee facilities, no bottled water, we drank water from the bathroom taps. It's fine, modern decor, clean, reasonably comfortable standard double bed with two pillows per person : however, definitely not what we expected when we booked and therefore we'd not be rushing back! There was car parking adjacent to the annex/room.

06/06/2025: Very nice coffee. Nice location. But the bathroom is a serious disappointment. In fact, after visiting the dirty bathroom, it put me off eating anything here.

02/12/2024: Took my family up here for brunch only to discover that it was CLOSED despite saying it’s open for business on here. Went next door to the furniture shop that leads into the restaurant and there was one staff member there that said it’s closed because they can’t find any chefs to work for them. I had checked the opening times on Google maps to confirm that it was open before driving 30 minutes out to them. Would have been a very disappointing trip to Moycullen if it wasn’t for the amazing Galway Cakery Cafe next door. This place used to be a regular spot for me and the family until the new management took over.

08/10/2024: I has the best food ever. Had the burger it was amazing.. himself had salmon. He loved it.. lauran was great.. got a free brownie for my Birthday.. such a nice gesture.. well done everyone it's a lovely experience..

19/07/2025: Asked for chocolate chip cookies and got white chocolate cookies with rotten crunchy see through things not what I ordered payed 4.50 got no compensation.

24/07/2025: I got food poisoning after eating there few times and i saw a staff that wasn’t wearing gloves and she just throw things in the burger with her hand. Very unclean and unhygienic

19/04/2025: 100% will be ordering again food was absolutely fabbb highly recommend the chicken in black pepper sauce and the fried wantons.. And the delivery service was A+++

06/08/2025: If I'm there reading a book or talking with friends, I love this place for the shisha but also the quality coffee and snacks. Easily one of my favourite places to go in the evening to relax. I love the atmosphere that's calm and only bettered by the other patrons who seem like they're there for the same thing

10/03/2025: Food from Chutni has always been incredible however, the lack of follow up from the establishment after one of their drivers was threatening to my friend for parking in a public car park is horrific. I have contacted Chunti twice in relation to this, both times being promised the owner will contact me but after 6+ weeks I have yet to hear from them. Their driver threatened to have my friends car clamped because she parked in the public car park, much further down from the establishment. I explained to him that having lived in the area for 20 years - a clamping agency has never been employed/ enforced there. There are also no signs up within the car park stating clamping is in operation also. The establishment staff assured me that there is no clamping agency enforced in the car park, advising me that the driver only works for them every so often - which is untrue as he is seen there almost daily when they are open. Really disappointed in how they have responded to this. If it was a group of males the driver would have minded his own business however, he decided to intimidate young girls, one who is also heavily pregnant.

04/06/2025: Pablo’s service at this café exceeded my expectations, far above what I’ve experienced at other cafés in Dublin. He was incredibly attentive, his English was flawless, and he even helped me navigate the app with expert ease. His patience and kindness truly stood out! The ambiance is cozy, with perfect background music at just the right volume. However, some chairs are broken (legs wobbly or missing), making them unusable, this really needs fixing. The food is okay: light with a mix of Italian, American, and Irish options. Nothing extraordinary, but decent. Overall, a lovely spot with exceptional service (thanks, Pablo!). If I could rate it 9.9/10, I would—just a tiny step away from perfection!

14/04/2025: Café pobre y extremadamente débil... Costó más de € 17 por 2 cafés débiles y 3 croissants, tomé los cafés de vuelta y me dieron otra inyección que los hizo un poco mejor, muy decepcionante.

03/04/2025: One star less because a coffee and a pecan pie is €7. Four € for coffee and €3 for a small pecan pie. It’s a bit on the expensive end.
