The best restaurants

28/08/2026: I work locally at Aldi and we have all popped in here for work nights out, when we get the chance. Wood Fired Pizza...what are you waiting for! We have reserved spots here and always very relaxed and accommodating about it. Lounge staff are very good. Always happy to take your order and appear just as your thinking of another one lol Security lads are decent. No BS with them and they will talk first NP. Had a disagreement with another customer there about my camera. He accused me of taking pictures without people's permission. Unortunately I didn't have my portfolio handy, as I was drunk lol. I asked for the security and they arrived promptly. Obviously they did not accuse me of anything but asked me to leave for the disruption. I had no problem with that and I think my puctures tell a very different story. Naturally I have permission to take pictures and share them with the world. At this stage, I expect people to ask as they know I can take a half decent picture lol

14/06/2026: Great location. Room was ok nothing special. Needs better signage as I walked past it a few times.

10/05/2026: Average rooms. Clean and tidy but small and basic. Customer service was friendly and kind. Waited nearly 15 minutes for reception because they were busy (understaffed maybe?) Location is very central however the hotel is above a techno nightclub that plays the same beat until 3am and it’s incredibly loud. You might as well go down to the bar because you’re not sleeping. Would not recommend for anyone who is trying to have a decent night sleep. If you’re here to party, get hammered and pass out, probably won’t bother you but if you enjoy sleeping, don’t stay here.

16/09/2026: I have to say, I’m really disappointed with the new layout of McDonald’s. I have some great memories of going to McDonald’s as a child. There was something about walking in, being greeted by smiling faces at the tills, seeing the staff working behind the counter and watching your food being prepared. The whole place felt open, welcoming and full of life. The new layout seems to have taken a lot of that away. With the back of the restaurant completely closed off, you no longer see any of the preparation of the food, and the restaurant has lost that sense of interaction between customers and staff. Instead, it feels more like a standard takeaway - people standing around waiting for their order numbers to appear, then collecting their food and leaving. Maybe it’s more efficient, and I understand that McDonald’s has changed with the times, but for me it has taken away a lot of the character and atmosphere that made McDonald’s feel different. It just feels very lifeless and soulless now, which is a real shame. McDonald’s was a place that holds a lot of childhood memories for me, and I miss the feeling that used to come with walking through those doors.

23/08/2026: Constant issues with this McDonalds. Today I was waiting over 5 minutes to place an order in the left drive thru bay while I watched 4 others get served in the other lane before a kind customer said that I should be next, only to be told "Oh I can't serve them as another person has that headset". Notions that they just thought leaving a customer just sitting there was acceptable. Outside of that, they frequently get orders wrong, in particular toppings.

18/09/2026: Stopped in on our way home travelling through, we were seated immediately, so thought we were on to a good thing looking at the menu, 3 other groups who entered after us had their orders taken before us while we still sat there waiting to give our order, eventually we had our order taken I got the roast beef and my husband got the lasagne with chips and salad. While there seemed to be a lot of staff working, it seemed like only one girl was really covering the whole situation. Our food came out quickly once ordered, roast beef dinner was really good, but my husbands lasagne arrived without the salad, and I knew by his reaction he wasn't mad on it, i tasted it was so sharp tasting of tomatoes, I said to him to say it but the salad, but he was just not bothered as we already had waited enough, it was at this point we noticed a couple who were there before us and still had not been served their food, so it seemed completely unorganised as such. I hope it was a really bad day for them, but definitely would not be a place I'd chose to go to again.

13/09/2026: Have often got food here over the years, but lately the standards have clearly dropped, ordered 2 curry’s both had a miserable amount of chicken in them, one was extremely runny like water, the last few times we have ordered we’ve noticed that the curry barely ever has more than a few pieces of chicken, you’re essentially eating rice and chips with a ton of sauce, which doesn’t reflect the cost of the food…. Pretty disappointed in this place

08/09/2026: Nice food, and great coffee(Nicks). Unfortunately the older counter assistant (owner) was not the most pleasant . Younger staff/waiting staff much more attentive pleasant

27/08/2026: Lovely coffee and raspberry scones.

01/08/2026: Best pizza in the town. Nice greasy cheesy pizzas, the tomato base is delicious, and they make the best cheese and garlic chips. Always covered in sauce!

20/06/2026: If I could give no stars I would , absolute dump full of rough people , every night is a night dedicated to a certain type of person with only there music , multiple storys of women coming out of there being harassed and touched by men and not being held accountable , absolutely avoid at all costs unless your into that sort of thing , place should be shut , I will never in my life step foot in the door again 👍

01/09/2026: I was really hungry after my long shift and thought to takeaway from this restaurant. So I went through their menu and thought of ordering Spice Bag as it was the safest option I feel instead of trying something new. So I took the spice bag and when I opened it to try It was really dry and there’s nothing spice in that just some chips and salty chicken like no onions and any other ingredients like what we expect in a normal spice bag

30/08/2026: Always great service and good food.

01/07/2026: 15.50 for a small bottle of coke and a fresh cod. Hadn't the decency to throw in one or two chips. Chippers in rush and balbriggan much better. Has to be the most expensive chipper in dublin. 5 euro for a bag of chips and a whopping 12.50 for a fish on its own. Daylight robbery.

19/08/2026: They were 3 years ago very discriminat, the bartender was, he said no more drinks for me but I was clearly sober, had just walked in, so how can I be drunk cause this was my first place, I never lie lol ... so I never went again, before I go often at 22, idk if they are still discrimant if you are not Irish cause I'm not but I talk English very well.
