The best restaurants

06/02/2026: We were taking delivery and they arrived 40 minutes late. But the food was great

16/05/2026: We had a great stay at Kerrigan’s. Our room had an ensuite and the room and bathroom was very clean. Our stay included breakfast, we were expecting continental, but had a choice which included bacon and eggs. Young Kara who checked us in and showed us our room was extremely helpful, she’s a little star. Thank you Jo and Graeme.

21/06/2026: Friend asked for a glass of water and got refused, I walked to the bar and a barman GRABBED ME BY THE ARM AND SHOUTED that he wouldn’t serve me water (after I bought two pints). Multiple patrons were shocked

24/03/2026: Food was very nice. Unfortunately staff member "Kasia" very rude. No smile, no hello. Wouldn't take my 50euro note, as she didn't have change (mostly unlikely as my order was over 15euro).

04/03/2026: I don’t usually leave reviews but I absolutely had to mention this lovely experience in Costa coffee in the mill maynooth. I was having a pretty bad day and went into this store to get a coffee and the loveliest young girl served me, her name was Alex and to say she cheered me up and had me leaving there feeling ten times better then I did when I went in is an understatement. I was a moody mess when I went in there and this lovely girl was patient and kind to me, I didn’t even know what I wanted to order I was flustered and probably a bit snappy 🙈😬 and she took the time to go through different options with me with kindness and patience, I actually told her that the service industry needs more people like her, I wasn’t the nicest of customers yet she still was so lovely and kind and it made me immediately switch gear and snap out of my mood, I apologised for my behaviour and she just smiled and said “oh gosh no,please don’t” I said thank you so much and as I left I felt 100times better and I just wanted to share that because I wasn’t very pleasant when I went in I’m embarrassed to say but this girl Alex was so lovely and sweet regardless and she really made my day better and also without knowing it she made a big impact on me and I appreciate so much the people that work in the service industry, I’m sure it’s not easy so I’m really going to make a bigger effort going forward to be friendlier instead of just ordering with a snappy face on me 🙈 I was even much happier for having had such a pleasant interaction. I hope all that makes sense! I just wanted to credit this wonderful staff member. I will 100% be back to this store.

01/06/2026: My first and last time in here on the way to Dublin. When I walked in I saw all tables covered with dirty plates, cups etc. When staff took it from my table after a while didn't even wipe off sticky dirts from the surface. It was disgusting sitting there. So irish.

13/03/2026: Stopped in for a quick tea and snack..friendly staff and good food

21/05/2026: Not open 24 hours, Google maps says it open 24 hrs, just off a flight, staff inside all right but they said its closed.

02/05/2026: Parking lot is always busy with Taxi. Many tables dirty. They call to collect the order when it is absolutely not ready yet. Very inconvenient service. This point is not following McD’s standards.

01/07/2026: Was travelling all day, said I’d stop and get some grub, the food was nice I have to say that but I ordered a chicken burger meal price on show around the €12 mark, wasn’t until a couple of days later and I was going through my phone that I noticed I was charged nearly €19, as I said the food was nice but definitely not worth being overcharged

28/09/2025: Thank you, I come early in the morning and do abit of work from my laptop before library opens. The staff is very friendly! The milkshake is amazing:-)

19/06/2025: The are rude including the man there, he was so rude that I will never order anything there again or anyone I know. He told me to order the uber to pick up my food and said the food was ready. I ordered the uber, the uber arrived and the food was not even ready. Instead of him to apologize because he is costing me more money. He started speaking rudely to me and telling me "you listen". Just imagine! Well, very poor customer service even at the restaurant. I went there to eat a couple of times and the food takes over an hour to get ready even if you book ahead. Today, I ordered at 15:00PM and the food was not ready till past 17:00PM. And they open at 15:00PM so I’m wondering why it took so long. The man is rude, great food, but very very poor service.

12/06/2025: I’d highly recommend. Very affordable price for the food and beautiful aesthetics. Staff was very friendly and professional too. Solid 8/10. Would definitely go back.

11/05/2026: My friends and I went after class to play pool, this man kept "pretending" to follow us to the bathroom as a joke and it must be a common thing to do in this establishment because the staff and rest of customers who I assume are regulars laughed loudly. Is not a safe place, you are only welcomed if you are a creep old man.

20/05/2026: Was in this evening and I’ve had an unpleasant experience man at the till with food in his mouth while talking to me taking my order. Normally order off a young man Mati I think his name is not sure very polite young man must’ve just caught him on his day off

09/05/2026: Best pizza in Gorey. Always hot and delicious. Also lovely staff. We get the 7 pizza deal for large parties and it's also the best price in town

20/05/2026: FLC used to be my go to fast food place from the last couple of years but in the past few months the quality is deteriorated and I’ve consistently been given reheated food. I was a huge fan of their burger and chicken because the taste was better than any local chain and always delivered fresh but my recent orders have left me disappointed. I am writing this review in the hope of getting the old quality of FLC back please.
