The best restaurants

21/12/2024: It tastes so bad, it's like feeding pigs. A bunch of people who can't even cook Chinese food come here to cook food for a group of people who don't even know what food and taste are. Can it be delicious? Indian songs are playing in the store, and the kitchen is run by Chinese apprentices, Middle Eastern Indian busboys, and a bunch of Muslim, Turkish, and Middle Eastern waiters. This owner is even worse than a food market in poor rural areas in the northwest of China. ! !

19/12/2024: A proper & tasteful Chinese restaurant exact in Dublin city center. Very good taste, prices & quantity! Usually busy in evening & weekends! Good place for friends and family in terms of sitting. I would recommend it. Little expensive but value for money!

07/12/2024: Supermacs is soo good i would sleep and eat it. Its always cooked at perfect capacity never undercooked or overcooked its just perfect i would do anything to eat in here whenever im hungry. My collection took about 10 minutes this is soo good😍

01/01/2025: This use to be my favourite takeaway spot, meal deals offer great value and the portion sizes are generous so there’s more than enough for two people. Food is excellent and very tasty however, several orders placed had items missing such as dips, prawn crackers and drinks.

06/12/2024: We are yet to eat in at this restaurant. But the takeaway service is super. All the food arrives in the traditional take-out box's you see in the movies. Not sure there's anywhere else you can get them like that unless their very dedicated to the authenticity of the food they are making. Good thought put into their marketing. We got the mega night in meal deal, with food left over from two it was all very fresh and what is great about this place is they highlight the calories you're getting from the menu so if your considerate of what you're eating it saves you some time. Would absolutely recommend trying this place. - 3 delivery's since writing this review. All three of them had something missing, prawn crackers, dips drinks etc.

22/09/2024: I had a bad experience at Hennessys Bar as the owner and Staff was very judgmental towards me and other people also there is a smell from Hennessys Bar a lot of people complained about the smell & the owner should have his Licence Removed and Place Shut Down for Discrimination towards people with Different Backgrounds and the Rudeness of him and his Staff along with there poor Bar Service and the Security Bouncers don’t look like much and they are also Rude and Judgmental

18/08/2024: Great pub, always a great atmosphere, pool table, one place in Tralee where you can drink a blue moon - unfortunately they never have oranges

01/11/2024: Stopped by here for a flat white . Absolutely loved the coffe the ambiance is also very cozy and the staff is courteous. They have cakes , chocolates and teas as well.

10/11/2024: We visited for a late lunch on our way from the Cliffs of Moher to Galway and it was a very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was great, it was a truly the most authentic Irish experience we had in our 10 days here.

04/11/2024: Stumbled upon The Irish arms after a long day exploring the Burren having travelled up with the kids from Cork. Stopped on the way down from Aillwee Caves, and being honest, it was the first restaurant/bar we came across and had a big sign out saying that food was being served - so we stopped. The place was dead, like, very empty except one other table who left after us. Not sure what the other reviews mention about the service - the server, at least when we were there was really friendly. Service was quick, and efficient too however, this is really where it stops. The menu is quite limited, and the food was a little bland. It wasn't bad - but, I wouldn't say it was special. The turkey was very bland, dry (even drier than turkey usually is.) Kids chicken nuggets were obviously frozen, but generic frozen type. You could tell it went straight from a bag in the freezer to the fryer. The decor of the place is quite nice, traditional but you can tell its centred towards tourists, primarily those coming from America or visiting the Cliffs of Moher. We're sorry afterwards, because we seen other places serving food further down in the town. Unfortunately, we won't be back anytime soon.

30/12/2024: My first time of visiting the city cork we decided to have our breakfast outside the hotel because we didn’t wake-up on time for the hotel breakfast so we decided to have breakfast around and we found the ÓBriens Cafe around the street and we decided to eat there and we are so dissatisfied and disappointed with The scrabble 🍳 eggs we were offered the egg was dry and cold no taste at all could not eat it even my partner that has no issue in which ever ways eggs are prepared, he could not eat his as well. Black tea was served instead of green tee very disappointing. The younger Waitress got some attitude problem she was not in the mood to attend to costumers. The cappuccino was okay, atmosphere was also okay

04/01/2025: Got a hot chocolate and chicken goujon and cheese roll. The hot chocolate was nice but the roll was lacking the roll they have is a soft roll rather then a a nice crispy roll. And it was just bland. Unfortunately the filling couldn't save it taste wise. Will go back for the hot chocolate if I was passing but not the roll. And they added crisps put just trew some in the bag with my roll.

19/12/2024: Very very rude staff member working behind the counter, most of the staff were lovely but we had an incident with one very rude member of staff and will never be back. Never been spoken too like that anywhere ever. Shocking behaviour.

14/01/2025: Came here on the weekend with family they were super busy and staff was very busy especially on a weekend busy times , and i ordered 30 wings platter extra hot but there was no sauce on the wings and i didn’t get my two sides of rice but i got the one i paid extra for so i ordered 3 rice but got only 1 , service was slow the water machine was giving out dirty water, , next time i should come on less busy times because staff can’t get the orders right. Kids meals were delayed they had to eat my chicken wings until there food arrived, they should hire extra waiters for busy times

31/12/2024: Manager needs to be sacked asap running the place to the ground. Had a missing order and told the girl it was missing and she said she would be right back with it. Waited about 30 minutes till I went downstairs and she was there chatting with another staff member when I complained her and the lad were both going back and forth blaming eachother which was very unprofessional the manager just stood there looking at me like I had 10 heads honestly looked like she was on a different planet could tell she was under the influence. I requested a refund not knowing she was the manager at the time. The dark girl dealt with the situation professionally we had a chat until she mentioned who the manager was I was surprised . I went down to have another chat with her “Petera” she says she was completely and utterly rude. Never again will I step foot in there Nando’s is enough!

17/10/2024: Incredibly rude Manager micro manages everything, upsets staff and killing the atmosphere. staff not let to use their own initiative. Leaking roof in dining area. Wi-Fi range is terrible. Food is bland tasteless Booked table but was put up at bar counter to eat by arrogant manager whom later was drinking at bar with other guests!!!! ?Great staff but terrible manager. Manager needs to keep away from dining area and stop micro managing. Will not come back here again. Depressing function room out the back. This place is a gold mine if run correctly with right management and again food needs proper freshness. Nothing to get excited about. Old gents and ladies hotel!

20/09/2024: Food was cold, had to return, received same dinner back blasted in the microwave.

21/12/2024: Got a burger and it was like a sponge the bone was like it got put in water or something disgraceful

28/09/2024: It was a delivery from nutgrove to ballinteer and food arrived fast and was excellent. Hot, so I would definitely recommend.

18/09/2024: Food was brilliant and woman taking my order over the phone was also lovely. Their delivery driver, however, was not lovely. When she spoke to me on the phone asking me about the location of my house she was extremely rude and wasn't much better when delivering the food to the house. Opened the window of her car basically saying "I amn't moving from my car, come get your food if you want it" and couldn't even say thanks when I handed her the money. Not great to say the least.
