The best restaurants

19/11/2025: We made a two and a half hour round-trip to visit Diva Boutique Bakery, and it was absolutely worth it! The Reuben Sandwich was magnificent, the Savoury Danish was incredible, and the mince pies were delicious. We also tried the Falafel sandwiches and a vegan dessert: everything was fantastic. I’ll definitely be going back because it’s that good!

22/09/2025: A seriously top-tier bakery, quite possibly the best cinnamon bun I've ever eaten, phenomenal. Really good coffee too, highly recommended.

03/09/2025: Absolutely amazing little gem. We stopped here on our way through and it was absolutely amazing. Very good value for money, amazing cakes, scones and exquisite crepes. The name tells it all, its small and cosy and has loads of character. The coffee was amazing and the service was absolutely top notch. Would 100% recommend to anyone passing through or staying in Athenry.

25/08/2025: We stopped here on the way back home from Westport and I have to say one of the best cafes I have been to. Coffee massively on point it was epic hot chocolate epic and a special request for an iced chocolate was not problem. The crepes were out of this world I had the streaker wife had the nookie and the kids had the ham and cheese all were amazing and the boss lady and locals in the cafe were so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're ever in athenry I know we will be back

28/10/2025: This restaurant has been in my sight for a few years but never got the chance to go until last weekend and by God did it live up to my expectations and hopes and what I've heard the food was amazing the service was fantastic the restaurant itself is so cosy and warm I love the ambience would definitely recommend to anyone if you haven't been to go as you will not be dissappointed

04/01/2026: Such a fun and special activity in Dublin! When I travel, I love doing things where I can have fun but also really learn about the heart and soul of the city, and this was absolute perfection. It had the ideal balance of literary history and the usual pub crawl fun. I learned a lot and met so many cool people both on the tour and in the bars themselves. I come from a theatrical background, and I was super impressed by the actors’ talent and will be highly, highly recommending this tour to everyone I know who visits the city. Such great value for the cost, too. Thanks for giving me an Irish experience that I’ll never forget.

23/11/2025: Attended this great event last night and can't recommend enough. Frank and Finbar are fabulous. The performed excerpts of plays and poems and stories with great charm and character. The pubs and sites on the tour are all well chosen and add to the atmosphere. Well worth the money and your evening too.

27/12/2025: Absolutely fantastic experience loved every minute of our stay. We got married there this December and they had beautiful Christmas decorations out around the house. The bedrooms were amazing and the hot tub and sauna were well used by everyone who came with us. If you are looking for a place for a wedding a party or just a family weekend away this is the place to go as it was amazing.

18/11/2025: Great week staying at The Springfield Castle! We rented out the entire castle and were able to really spread out and enjoy the castle and grounds on our own. Karen was quick to respond to questions and requests. Lots of fun day trips from this location.

17/11/2025: A great place for a pint near the train station. The staff was very kind and open, so that's a plus, and the price was totally fine.

15/01/2026: Great pub, still in the centre but seemingly away from the maddnes further down the street. Just a proper homely pub, great staff, always friendly and helpful, atmosphere terrific, and of course a fine pint!

10/01/2026: What a wonderful hidden gem of a place and dog friendly too. We had a great evening in the bar, lovely food and a good night's sleep and it was as easy as a breeze and clean and tidy. Thank you Sheila and team. We look forward to coming back soon.

20/09/2025: Absolute hidden gem. The keepers Arms is a perfect location for anyone looking for a peaceful night away in the centre of some amazing tourist attractions. Its at the foot of the cuilcagh mountains and in the centre of the cuilcagh geopark with some amazing sites to see. And to top it off its DOG FRIENDLY! Sheila and all the staff couldnt make us feel more welcome and was so kind and helpful during our stay. Lily my dog was made feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Even has great pints of guinness too! Bar food served in the evenings was really good and lots of it and very affordable. Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked for you and lily wasnt left out either ❤️ Little garden area for anyone taking there dog out in the night. Really couldnt recommended the place more. Its a home away from home feel. And please call for the best price 🙏🏻

01/09/2025: Nice little Deli that is reasonably priced for Dublin. Got a ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Really good. Will be back.

07/01/2026: Very very good. The toasted sandwich on sourdough was delicious with fresh salad and dressing and chips. The Americano coffee was the best I have had in a long long time. We were greeted at the door with a lovely welcome. All the waiting staff were the same so friendly and helpful. The place was spotless comfortable and spacious. Will be stopping here again.

19/12/2025: Busy, popular, bakery cafe. Would recommend it to anybody in, passing through or near Ballinrobe.

18/01/2026: We traveled as a group of eight and found The end keeper to be most accommodating, very service oriented. We had a wonderful Irish breakfast every morning and warm and hospital service the property is very clean The location is central to many sites. One of us plans to return to recommend this wonderful to our friends Joel V

18/01/2026: Mary was the absolute best!! She is very professional yet so friendly and accommodating. She was there when we had any request and fulfilled them without hesitation and with a smile. The breakfasts were consistent and delicious! We will definitely be back as we visit Ireland on a regular basis. Renni D.

04/12/2025: Four of us were travelling back from Galway to Dublin on 19.25 train, starving. We called The New Village in Tullamore and they took our order and met us on the platform so they literally delivered our food to the train. Very tasty, great portions and obviously amazing service. 09/05/2025: Stani was so accommodating to my last minute request for a cake. 1 week before. We emailed a few times and she took the order. Arrived to collect on a Sunday and it was amazingly done. Loads of detail on the cake. We expected this to be a chocolate biscuit cake ( as i hadnt specified a preferance and that is the norm usually) but when we cut in we were delighted to see a 4 layer chocolate sponge and chocolate buttercream icing. The cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it so much at the celebration. It was well presented and
