The best restaurants

07/09/2026: We visited Wabisabi Sushi and Noodle in Cork around lunchtime. Overall, I found the food fairly average — nothing bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. For my taste, the dishes lacked a little brightness and depth of flavour. The wasabi also seemed quite watery and not very distinctive. What really impressed me, however, was the absolute cleanliness of the place. The staff were exceptionally attentive, polite, and clearly made an effort to look after every customer. Their attitude towards customers was genuinely excellent. Would I recommend this place? I think yes. It is certainly worth visiting once and forming your own opinion. If you are nearby and simply want a decent lunch or something to eat, this is a perfectly reasonable option. The prices are fair and affordable. However, if you are looking for bold flavours, culinary delights, unusual dishes, or a truly memorable dining experience, I think it would be better to look elsewhere. Personally, I found the food not expressive enough, so I probably would not make a special trip to come back again. Overall, it is a good place for a casual lunch, with fair prices, excellent cleanliness, and outstanding customer service. I am giving 5 stars purely because of the way the staff treat their customers. Their attentiveness, politeness, and level of service truly deserve it.

06/09/2026: Great little place, good value, service and food. You get server a little green tea as soon as you sit down, which is a great gesture which you don't often see done, making browsing the menu and eventually ordering all the more pleasant

22/07/2026: I had a wonderful stay at the hotel🤗👍❤️ ( Room 236,July 19) The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help(Reception lady’s are the best😘☺️) My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained(Thank you accommodation team👍🤗) The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options( The staff is always smiling and kind (A special thank you to the handsome young man at the hot breakfast buffet! He always starts the morning with a warm smile and puts me in a great mood😃 His friendly attitude and positive energy made every breakfast even more enjoyable🤗😘☺️) Thank you for your excellent hospitality !!! I truly enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return in the future again😘🤗❤️👍 KARINA❤️

29/06/2026: Wanted to like this hotel. Good breakfast, decent location. They told us we “upgraded”: to a room overlooking an active construction zone. First thing in the morning and then throughout to day there was jackhammering, drilling, shouting right outside our room that rattled the window. They cut off the power which killed the hot water during the shower. Far from a peaceful and relaxing stay. Manager Harry was terrible, tried the “gotcha” of asking if we had reported the problems when they occurred. He had no answer when he learned we had, not even a free drink or comped breakfast offered. Even if the construction is done, their attitude about how to deal with problems will remain.

15/09/2026: Jan 25 - Dined in their new extension today 4 brekkie. Wow, amazing breakfast !!! Quality food, served hot 🔥 the breakfast bap with potato sides and 2nd dish of hot sausage, poached eggs and tomato sauce on some of those potatoes. We hovered it up. Planned a sweet treat to finish, but we were full for the day. Lovely young , kind, and polite staff !!!! Highly recommend. Forgot to take photos of dishes (excuse to to back) Sept 24 -Sat outside for an almond hot chocolate and a protien ball on Friday in beautiful September sunshine. Everything was delicious.

11/08/2026: A real little French boulangerie, croissant et chocolatine (should we say "pain au chocolat" ;-) ), are really tasty. I have enjoyed the quality.

06/08/2026: Quite an expensive bakery. We ordered two chocolate croissants and a loaf of bread and it cost us 9.80 euros.

25/09/2026: We stopped here on a tour on the way to Cliffs of Moher. It was a cool stop where the owner came out quickly talked about his chocolates and history. But when we all went to buy their coffee beverages and baked goods, everything was basically sold out. Then by the time you get to the till they tell you they don't accept cash. I waited in line for so long that I wish they could have kind of made that known to the line that wrapped to the outside. By the time the last baked good was gone I didn't care and the staff wasn't that welcoming. Also, wanted a tip after telling you it's no cash when you reached the front of the line. The bathrooms didn't have toilet paper and everyone had to wait for a certain stall. First time this happened on the whole trip.

07/09/2026: Great place of food to eat, very good quality food and very good . I recommend anyone who comes to Castlebar to eat. I always choose this place to eat my Fish And Chips.

23/08/2026: Fantastic night in fantastic surroundings with the Connaught Rugby pitch in the middle and supporters stand overlooking the back straight of the track, great racing with great views!!

23/08/2026: Completely closed down for at least the next 2 weeks it seems. With no warning posted online its quite disappointing. Especially when the marina market is so much more conveniently located with better selection and quality.

25/08/2026: The food was delicious. We had the lamb shank, prawns and the vegetarian thali. The flavours were authentic and the prices were comparable.

03/09/2026: The food is amazing, the staff make you feel like family. This is the place we go when we want to recharge and refuel. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend it- thank you team Mango Cafe and look forward to returning very soon

14/09/2026: Had some chicken biryani. Huge portion, fresh flavor, excellent chicken, perfectly cooked rice. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Meat samosas and Cobra beer was excellent. You can't go wrong, especially if you're looking for a change from pub food. Must try this.

13/06/2026: Staff are amazing, best pint of Guinness around, great atmosphere, really reasonable prices. Couldn’t recommend enough !

20/07/2026: So tasty, and best value for money ice cream in Dingle in my opinion. Raspberry sorbet so flavourful and not icy at all, and I couldn’t believe how thick and creamy the Nutella ice cream was. Lovely cones. Delicious 🍦 ⭐️
