The best restaurants

04/10/2025: Dora has catered for us on several occasions over the last few years, my sisters wedding breakfast, my daughters birthday, my sisters baby shower and the biggest one was my daughters communion party. I can’t begin to say how wonderful the standard of food and service was, let alone how cost friendly the catering was compared to other services. If you have any type of event coming up I couldn’t endorse Dora’s catering more!! We have just booked again for another party we have coming up and know I can rely on her and the team for their seamless operation and delivery of amazing food x

02/10/2025: Dora May catered for a recent lunch we hosted. We selected catering for 20 with 2 mains and 5 sides, and also platters of sandwiches and desserts. Dora took all the stress out of the day, turning up punctually and supplying cutlery, napkins and plates which i was not expecting. All the food was delicious and everyone complimented it. I will happily recommend DoraMsys and will definitely use her again.

28/10/2025: A regular trip for evenings out as a couple is great here. Or a trip as a family to try some thai food. I usually get the thai green curry which is rich and creamy and delicious. I typically get the highest spice rating and this is afaik the spiciest place in Newbridge, if you have a higher spice tolerance for an Irish person it's lovely, otherwise temper your expectations. Staff is always wonderful and typically you can walk in to plenty of tables.

25/01/2026: Ballycommon bake house is a beautiful coffee shop in a lovely location, staff are efficient & very friendly, today I had the ham & Brie which was amazing so tasty & I will definitely be back again for the same, I would highly recommend this spot

Yasmina went above and beyond to take the stress out of planning everything from the cowgirl themed activities and dinner to the hotel stay, all of which were excellent. She was patient, pleasant and helpful throughout which meant that all we had to do was arrive and enjoy the experience. We all had a brilliant time

I simply told her, “I trust you — do what you can,” and she absolutely delivered beyond all expectations. The cake she created was perfect inside and out — beautifully designed, full of creativity, and so much attention to detail. It was for a special 25th anniversary, and she captured the poker theme flawlessly — from the cards and chips to every little decoration. Everyone was amazed by how stunning it looked, and even more impressed by how delicious it tasted! You can tell she puts her heart into every creation. 27/10/2025: My first experience with this bakery and I've absolutely zero regrets. They made THE BEST cake! Every guest loved it. A wee bit pricey but at the end of the day it's worth each penny of it! Keep up the good work!

29/07/2025: My friend and I went there on a Saturday evening without reservations and the whole place was booked, but we managed to have our pints at the bar and the staff were super friendly about it. The interior of the place is so cool!
