30/12/2025: Nice atmosphere with all the Christmas shoppers in and out. Friendly service and very clean bathroom.

14/12/2025: Great turkey and ham dinner. The mash especially was delicious!

25/02/2026: CLOSED Under renovation. Very poor for Avoca Head Office not to update listing to inform people making the trip as the business is marked as open.

20/01/2026: Cafe/eatery with a spectacular view, shop.

07/10/2025: The Ros Cafe is definitely our new favourite brunch spot!! Every day they have signature meals and sandwiches that are absolutely delicious!! Their matchas are to die for and you can get hot or cold drinks if you like! It’s a small spot so it’s intimate and the staff knows your name. After brunch you can have their home made pastries for dessert. I’m here almost weekly and it’s going to be your new favourite brunch spot . Definitely going back!!

12/12/2025: Worst customer service I’ve ever come across. Cancelled our online order without telling us as they were “too busy.” Won’t be ordering again or visiting again.

30/11/2025: Huge thanks to the team at Little Richard’s. I had a tiny issue that needed sorting and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They took it seriously, fixed it quickly, and were genuinely super professional from start to finish. It’s rare to walk away from an issue feeling looked after, but that’s exactly how they made me feel. And their pizzas? Absolutely exceptional. A real treat every single time! Thanks so much again!

26/01/2026: Quiet pint and watched some horse racing waiting for wife to finish shopping. Bar staff were grand, chatty and gave some local food recommendations. Lost my bets on the gee gees. Dont tell the Mrs!

01/02/2026: Perfect service! The woman at reception noticed I was cold and offered to bring a radiator to our room. Very welcoming, a wonderful experience, and there's parking at the hotel. If we're passing by, we'll definitely stop by again! I also had pasta in a white sauce with mussels and prawns; I highly recommend it! (corrected: I ordered a starter, but feel free to order a full portion)

31/10/2025: we had a meal there today as it was my son's graduation. The waitress was very friendly . my salad was nice but the turkey dinner my son had was just not great with big chunks of veg and mash was a bit dry. my partner asked for a ham sandwich which was very unappetizing and visually just two big triangles of bread wit ham stuffed in the middle. the dinner cost over 18 euro and we just expected a bit better value for money. it wasn't busy there and just thought food is not visually great and could be more appealing.

01/03/2026: Went to this restaurant on a Sunday left waiting over an hour only to be told they couldn't find our order even though I enquired about order after 35 minutes of waiting absolutely terrible service

27/02/2026: Went for lunch with our small baby and staff member Rebecca could not have been more helpful, great service which made things so much easier for us. Food was tasty and portions were big. Great to have a vegan option. Lots of parking too.

07/01/2026: Absolutely unreal. The fish and chips are the best I’ve had in years, and the curry sauce is on another level—never tasted chippy sauce like it. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Genuinely worth the drive to Limerick just for this place.

06/03/2026: Before and after a soccer match in the Aviva both times the experience was very enjoyable.Proper old style bar staff even though the pub was bouncing and they were busy not afraid to make eve contact so you new you were next to be served.

28/02/2026: Ive visited twice now and each time has been a Friday evening after 8. -The atmosphere is great for conversation and not too crowded. -The staff were friendly and attentive. -The pints of Guiness were wonderfully creamy -AND THE BRISKET ROLL IS THE BEST SANDWICH IVE HAD IN DUBLIN Ive had a dream about that sandwich after each time I've eaten one. Proper crust from the rub, not overly smokey and the roll is a perfect match for holding up under the juices of the brisket without falling to bits and being too firm to bite or chew. It's a place that will be in the rotation of where I'll visit when I go into town. If that sandwich leaves the menu I'll never be able to return for the heartache that will come with its memory will be too painful to bear.

08/03/2026: Must try!! Best ingredients from West cork on a plate. Had the Ballydehob eggs with Salmon. Incredible flavour 🧡 Matcha Latte 💚 With family and their food was wonderful also.

04/01/2026: This is a great place to stop on your way to or coming back from the westerly extremes of west cork. Great food and coffee that tastes like coffee. Mince pies to die for. Keep it going!!!

29/09/2025: Our second visit here and we had a lovely coffee with sandwiches. Toasted special and goats cheese sandwiches which were delicious. Staff are so polite and friendly. Well done to all involved.

09/09/2025: Awesome is a gem in the heart of Carrickmacross, serving coffee from expert roaster (roasts coffee in house), delicious bakes and always a kids hot chocolate for the little ones. Staff are top class, in a town where there is no shortage of coffee shops, this one stands out.
