02/06/2026: Great hotel rooms very modern location amazing. Service was good. Was in a package but found the residents menu was quite limited mainly fish,only one chicken dish and 1 meat dish which was steak which incurred a supplement . Though good we got was good.

10/05/2026: Stayed with a large group this weekend. The hotel and staff went out of their way to accommodate an early start for an event we were taking part in. Location is stunning. The food was outstanding.. special mention to Justin and Rihanna They were so lovely and enjoyed themselves along with the group in the evening ❤️👍 Home from home. look forward to a return visit soon

16/05/2026: I always pass in front of this pub and was curious about the place because it always has black lighting, and I really like places with that atmosphere. I came here on Friday alone and, unfortunately, I forgot the older gentleman’s name, but he was very friendly to me. I chose a table, had some lovely Irish food, and enjoyed a glass of red wine. To be honest, I had appoint online with my master’s supervisor, and the gentleman kindly helped me with paper and a pen, and later brought me some water. Lovely, lovely man. The place is quiet, and the design is rustic yet elegant. I recommend this place if you like elegance, quiet and Pub with food and drinks. There are table and bar for enjoy. The location is perfect in Rathmines.

14/03/2026: Great food, service, and atmosphere

07/06/2026: Across the board the nicest food I've had in Limerick and I've lived here 37 years. Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were attentive and we had no long wait times between courses. They clearly have a well oiled machine between kitchen and front of house. Food was presented beautifully on the plate and so full of flavour with high quality ingredients. Would absolutly recommend for a special occasion as it is a pricey dinner, but without a doubt you do get what you pay for. Treat that someone special with a stop off here.

31/05/2026: Lovely meal. The halibut dish was the highlight. It was excellent. I don't recommend the Red Lentil & Wild Mushroom “Bolognese.” It was pasta heavy when it could have focused more upon lentils and mushrooms, and the vegan pasta is a bit stiff as well. The service was lovely

03/05/2026: came here for an early celebratory dinner with a friend and left disappointed. i've never had a magret de canard (duck) this disappointing. we couldn't finish the meal and decided to go find somewhere else. at 30 euros a plate, the portions were also abysmal. the service was horrid. we were the only table having dinner (another was having just drinks) and we were largely ignored for a while before placing our orders. the waitress noticed we did not like our meals and loudly went about telling the cook this, which we could hear from the dining room. friend and I had to go get food elsewhere after in order to save the evening from disappointment.

05/05/2026: I used to order from here often, especially the rice, and it was always great. Lately, though, the quality has dropped a lot. The rice is bland, overly sticky, and seems like it’s not even freshly made - more like porridge than proper rice. Not sure what changed, but it’s disappointing, especially considering the price. I won’t be ordering again and don’t recommend this place.

08/06/2026: By far the best bar in Cork. Great selection of Irish whiskey, good food, and Danny the co-owner was a really nice guy. Food 5stars Danny got me hooked on Red Breast 12yr Irish Whiskey. 5stars

29/05/2026: I am pretty amazed to read that this Place only has 4.2 stars. I found it to be completely charming. My Irish Coffee was out of this world. The other clientele were extremely friendly. Highly recommended 🙏🏾

01/06/2026: I was actually here for a pottery workshop and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Everyone else in the pub seemed very happy.

20/09/2025: Wonderful bakery right next door to our Airbnb, went there often. Excellent meat pies and pastries.Fresh bread and they'll make you fresh sandwiches. Enjoyed everything that we tried here over our two weeks. Favorites were steak pie and cottage pie. Fair prices.

11/06/2026: I’ve been here a few times and the stuff are always beyond helpful and friendly! I came in with a pram today for food, and Jeremy, our waiter, held the door open for us and made sure we had a table with enough room for the pram. He was so helpful throughout our meal, asking if we needed drinks topped up and if our food was okay. Jeremy really made our day! As always staff went above and beyond and were even doting on the baby 😂 100% recommend and will definitely be coming back!

03/01/2026: We’ve been regular customers up until this visit, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. We waited around 30 minutes just to place our order, and then another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. It was disheartening to see a table seated after us receive their starter before our food was served, with no explanation or apology offered. When the food eventually arrived, it appeared to have been microwaved rather than freshly prepared, which made the long wait even harder to understand. Overall, the experience fell short of what we’d come to expect. We hope this was a once-off, but unfortunately it has made us reconsider returning unless there’s a noticeable improvement.

06/05/2026: This is a grand spot for a spot of food but everything prepared from the food to the drinks tasted like it came straight out from packaging, from frozen, or from a pre-mixed cocktail. Nothing was objectively bad but to have paid almost €80 for two taco plates, sharing some nachos, and two margaritas felt like a bit of a rip off given the quality. Staff were lovely, and thanks to them always

03/05/2026: Excellent place for authentic Mexican food, the staff is super friendly and fast, and the flavor of the food reminded me of my native Mexico. The manager, Luis, gave us the best service. 1000% recommended.

12/04/2026: This restaurant has everything that makes a great place to eat. From the entrance staircase to the beautiful tall. Dinning room with an amazing old atmosphere. The food is terrific and the staff are fantastic. A+++

27/03/2026: This is the jewel of Wexford. We are Australians and have travel to Thailand. I have found the venue - in the old YMCA building. It is a great use of old big building. Just a note - lots of stairs. The food was 11/10 for flavour and value for money. We met the owner and he gave us time to chat. Give yourself a gift and book a dinner.
