16/03/2026: Large, beautifully designed restaurant with a small bar area right on the main road/highway. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Good selection of drinks and food. The food was really delicious and everything arrived very quickly. We would definitely come again.

09/11/2025: We had a fantastic morning coffee here! This is a lovely little cafe to visit, where the staff are very welcoming and helpful; the coffee is also delicious and strong, accompanied by a perfect carrot cake recommended by one of the baristas. There are many different areas in which to sit, each offering a different atmosphere and comfortable vibe. The music was a nice, upbeat addition, and not so loud that it was hard to chat. I noted the premises is dog friendly, which makes sense given the outdoor area. The front of shop is bright and seating is well spaced throughout. The baristas brought the coffees to the table, my flat white was good and strong which was great for early in the day, and good value for €3.70 and the carrot cake with walnuts was top notch for €3.80. They have a wide selection of individual cookies, cakes and other treats on offer, as well as some more filling options.

05/11/2025: The best cappuccino and espresso in Mullingar. The Brazilian asai was nice. Lovely place, an amazing atmosphere and music. I recommended it.

18/12/2025: My 8 year old daughter says that "the hot chocolates are the best!" I'd share a similar sentiment for the coffee. My 4 year old sons commentary was that "the Santa on my coffee cup is cool" which is the final touch to probably my most comprehensive and ground-breaking review on Google.

25/10/2025: Amazing little pub. One of a kind in Waterford. Absolutely fantastic craic pouring your own drinks. Management and staff always super friendly and accommodating. Get there early to secure your seats!! Been coming here since college and even now years later I still come by when I’m out and about. Always a great time in Jarrz🩵🤍

22/10/2025: The kimchi stew was the best. It tasted just like the fermented kimchi stew I used to eat in Korea! The side dishes were also excellent. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was trendy and clean. I'd love to visit again!

22/10/2025: Best Korean food I've had outside of Korea. The free side dishes were a nice touch and really good. The kimchi jiggae was fantastic, exactly what you'd get in Korea. Bibimbap also great and the portions were very good, we both came out really full. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommend!

08/03/2026: Recently stayed at the Marine. Derek, the manager really helpful even letting us know where we could have a full Irish Breakfast at another location close by. Room was very comfortble and fabulous Vista of the sea and old castle. Ideal spot from where to re-visit Ballybunion.

15/03/2026: First stop on this quick trip to Dublin, a double pint to start off well: a Murphy's Irish Red and a Norsemen Irish Lager, their own. Both were very good, perhaps more so the lager. The friendly bartender explained to us how to pronounce the correct Irish greeting: Sláinte.

09/03/2026: We had the Tourist Menu and the price was reasonable for Dublin. The beef stew with Guinness and mashed potatoes was very good, as was the fried chicken with whiskey sauce. They have live music, and soft drinks were included with the set menu. There's also live music in the evenings, and if you're lucky enough to be there on the right night, they'll play traditional Celtic music starting at 7:30 pm. Highly recommended.

16/03/2026: The food was tasty, but it's very expensive and the portions are tiny. The sushi comes in 4 to 6 pieces, and for the same price or less you can get 8 pieces at nearby places... I really don't recommend it.

20/02/2026: My partner and I visited on our trip to Galway to get some drinks. What a great place! Staff was great, Roland was amazing, recommended us some places to go in Dublin (which were great as well), and gave us some lessons on gin and some laughs. There are some board games available too for some entertainment. Bar is clean and has plenty of personality. Great selection of beer as well! Highly recommend stopping here

23/10/2025: What a fabulous spot! Lovely atmosphere, relaxed and cosy. First time here although my son has been encouraging me for a while! We booked on-line which was very straightforward. We parked directly outside the Lodge itself. Parking there is limited enough and tight for turning. There is also the option of parking on the main road and walking up steps (maybe 15). There's an outside area which would be a great spot on a sunny day or well wrapped up. You can see the kitchen from there. You step inside to a bar area where you are warmly welcomed and directed to your table. There are various combinations of seating available. We sat at a high table for two. Menu is mainly curries and burgers but also battered fish and chips. The cuisine is very authentic so the curries are full of flavour and spice. It was too hot for my palate but I blame myself for not checking and requesting it with less heat. The flavour was amazing though. My oh's fish and chips was good. We shared a Malva dessert which was delicious. I had a ginger beer, very refreshing, and my oh had a glass of French Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent and perfectly chilled. Service was attentive and professional. Our bill came to 67 euros. Just to note that sides for the curries are extra. Beautiful location and setting. Great amenity for the local area and beyond. Well worth a trip there. Enjoy.

04/03/2026: We ordered a variety of things, and everything was delicious. Although the burrito wasn't very flavorful. I especially liked the daily specials; the pasta was excellent.

19/10/2025: Love, love, love the food served there. Sadly only managed to get to eat there once while we were on holiday in the area, as cafe seemed to be closed on other days we tried.

28/02/2026: Great family run business and polite staff and great food and handy little shop to pick up shopping and a very large car park it's conviently situated in the Castle Connor area on the Ballina to Sligo Road 👍
