The best restaurants

23/08/2026: We came in for dinner prior to flying back to the states. Food was great. My wife had the St. Tola's Goat cheese Mousse and the 8oz fillet of beef and loved both. I had the Korean chicken burger which was great. My wife loved her Capall cocktail. Sagar took care of us and was phenomenal. We stayed at a different hotel and ubered in but will stay at the Carlton Hotel next time because of the Runway 28.

09/08/2026: We had a lovely meal at Runway 28! The ragu and hake were delicious, the cocktail menu was so cool with the Irish folklore and the service was amazing. Shout out to our waiter Sagar!

10/04/2026: Been coming to busy bees for years and the staff are always wonderful! It's clean and well organized even when very busy with birthday parties. Liz was absolutely incredible. My son is very shy but she was so great at speaking to him he was absolutely delighted with himself playing in the play center. We booked a party and couldn't be happier with how it went. Staff were top rate but I can't thank Liz enough for being there for the parents but also with the kids who were celebrating. Recommend to any parent looking for a party place.

07/06/2026: Fabulous hotel. Perfect location and we had a beautiful room overlooking the marina. Staff were amazing and we were well looked after. Breakfast was perfect 👌 Highly recommend 👌 We would definitely stay here again.

26/07/2026: Great pub. We didnt eat. There's a pool table, drinks were great, service friendly, great atmosphere. Some outdoor tables with brollies for when its raining. Toilets on same floor. No stairs which is important sometimes! Lovely place

06/08/2026: About the worst Irish coffee I had in the entire island. Tastes like water and whiskey not coffee at all.

10/07/2026: Had a great time. In for the World Cup matches, and the tennis. Great atmosphere and plenty of TVs around the pub. Good selection of beers, and the food is lovely. Fair play to the staff. And that terrace, what a sun trap ☀️😎

27/07/2026: We had a fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The food was absolutely 100%—fresh, delicious, and cooked perfectly. Every dish was full of flavour and exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to our server, Jasmine, who was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. She made us feel well looked after and really added to the overall experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will happily return the next time we’re here!

13/07/2026: Im staying at this hotel for 8 weeks due to work commitments from the UK. The hotel is fabulous, the staff are great always friendly and talkative. I would like to mention Jasmine in particular she always speaks and is very polite.

24/09/2026: Always great service with a good varied menu which is value for money

17/09/2026: Menu is simple. I ordered the steak sandwich rare and they did bring a rare steak sandwich, which in itself is rare. Restaurants rarely do the steak rare properly. The deserts are very good too. Would come back.

31/08/2026: Got takeaway out Giulios Baldoyle today 29/08/2026 , Breakfast Bagette two battered Sausage Chips and Chicken nuggets, a simple order took it home. I opened the Breakfast Bagette and oh my God the smell of what only could be described as shit hit the back of my throat and the mess in the roll I could not describe, it went straight out to the seagulls, this was followed by their battered sausages that were horrible and the reheated chips followed. Nothing worse then chewy Hard chips. Put me right off my food and ruined what should be an enjoyable take away experience paid with your hard earned cash, the bill for this shocking onslaught of horriable food was 24 euros. Will not be back ....

03/08/2026: I don’t like leaving bad reviews but feel this one deserves it. The worst chips out of a chipper I can remember. Just pure grease. Ended up throwing them in the bin. Will never go back.
