The best restaurants

11/09/2025: We attended the Tigin both days we were in Galway. The staff were friendly, classic pub vibes, so thought we may as well go back again! Saturday night was super busy with the Soccer and the crowd were good fun. We went back the next day for the womens rugby. Great selection on tap.

20/08/2025: Based, based, based pub. I thought the food and drinks were incredible. I just had to meet and thank the manager personally. The friendly staff who were excellent gladly introduced me. I thanked him and he said wanna hear something funny? He then told me something hilarious. He said caribou closed which is pretty funny. Then he told me they said they were gonna build a hotel here but then they just built a better pub. WOW, dinner and a show!! Beautiful cocktails, lovely staff, city centre location.

26/02/2026: The flavour of the salad is exceptional. I find myself thinking about the salad all the time, could never replicate it! The seasoning on the chips is tasty and I love the bao bun. Homemade lemonades and cocktails are great. Nice price for lunch deal. The fact they have vegan and meat options is great for everyone and in terms of flavour I give this spot a 5/5.

30/10/2025: Update: I made payment for soaps and my money was refunded to me. No reason was given, no response to my message. It may be because of my last review but this experience was worse than the last time. I made payment of the 3rd of October, 2025. The customer care service and response needs to be worked on. More information about delivery(delivery company) used too needs to be given to the client or updated on your website/whatsapp welcome message. I had a terrible experience of being ignored without any update from the person I was chatting with. When I complained the message I got was such a terrible message, where the person responded like she was doing me a favour. You really need to do better. About the product I ordered, there is no doubt about the authenticity of the product I got it. It was exactly what I wanted. It was original, especially since a lot of fakes are in circulation and the price was the best price I saw anywhere. I hope in future I can get more of the product I got and be able to edit/update this review to more favourable experience.

05/06/2025: Went to Inish fushion this evening with family. 04/06/25. Can't fault anything at all with the place. Very quaint and homely. Food was delicious and served by very friendly staff. Great choices on the menu. Definitely worth trying again to test some more desserts😊. Reasonable priced also.

23/10/2025: We were over in Newmarket Motors collecting a new Xpeng G6 and ‘The Daily Grind’ was recommended as the place to go to for a good lunch. The great food was matched by the welcome and service making the whole experience. We can also recommend the carrot and fruit cakes both taken home 😀 In fairness the recommendation did come from James Moylan in Newmarket Motors and the cafe is owned by his mother. Overall collecting the car and the lunch capped off a great day trip from Dublin.

04/02/2026: I recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my cousin’s 22nd birthday. We were drawn in by the menu and the convenience of having a karaoke bar downstairs afterwards. Unfortunately, the dining experience was extremely disappointing. I called the restaurant two weeks in advance and paid a €250 deposit to book for approximately 20 people. During that call, I specifically asked if the deposit could be refunded upon arrival, allowing us to pay the full bill at the end of the meal, as collecting deposits from everyone beforehand would have been inconvenient. I was assured this would be possible. I called again the week before to confirm this arrangement and also requested one long table, both of which I was told could be accommodated. Upon arrival, our group was split into two separate tables as they could not provide one long table. While this wasn’t a major issue, it set the tone for the rest of the evening. We arrived at 6:20pm, ordered shortly after, and our food did not arrive until around 8pm. When it did, it was cold, and several items were missing. At around 7:15pm, one of my friends politely asked about the delay. Our waitress, Monia, responded rudely, stating there were only two chefs working and sarcastically asked if we wanted her to go into the kitchen and cook herself. This response was unprofessional and unnecessary. Many of us were unhappy with the food and barely ate. When the bill arrived, we were given two separate bills, each with its own service charge, totalling approximately €70. Given the poor service and food quality, we agreed that the service charge should be removed. The deposit had also been deducted from the bill, which was not what had been agreed upon in advance. I calmly pulled Monia aside to explain this. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, she turned to someone she knew at the table and spoke in Arabic, saying “Why did your friends come here? Don’t bother ever coming back.” I understood what was said, and I found it extremely disrespectful, particularly as it was said under the assumption that I wouldn’t understand. She initially refused to refund the deposit, insisting that we pay with it deducted. Multiple attempts were made to refund it to different cards (including a friend’s), none of which worked. She blamed my phone rather than the card machine. When I offered to accept cash, I was told that wasn’t possible. I then asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was “busy” and “doesn’t deal with issues like this.” She also stated that since the service charge had been removed, I should “cut my losses and pay the bill,” and made a comment suggesting she knew from the moment I walked in that I wouldn’t pay the service charge. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Eventually, the manager did come over and, to his credit, resolved the issue by refunding the deposit in cash. We went to the karaoke bar downstairs afterwards and had a great time there, which was the only positive part of the night. I would avoid dining here, particularly while Monia is working. This was one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had and it completely overshadowed what should have been a special birthday celebration.

07/01/2026: Always a joy to shop here but I just had to sit down and give a 5 star review of experience there this morning. From the moment I entered the shop where the trolley was already pulled out for me, to the man who helped me at the killadoon milk dispenser, to the friendly girl on the checkout and finally the lovely John who helped me load my shopping in the car. I can't praise this shop enough except to finally say that the quality of product and selection is always the best. Thank you so much Supervalu Churchtown ☺️

11/03/2026: A friend and I went for a beer and some food. Classic fish and chips, done right. Very friendly service. The leather sofas, furniture, and bar create a really nice atmosphere. It was quite crowded for midweek.

If you choose to dine here, im sorry to say but expect delicious food and efficient service. ​but i have to say that The Heart of the Hotel: The Staff ​What truly sets the Camden Court Hotel apart is its incredible team. The staff members are consistently warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and any request was handled immediately and with a smile. Their friendly disposition makes you feel valued, not just as a guest, but as a welcomed visitor. ​In conclusion, the Camden Court Hotel delivers on every front. If you are looking for phenomenal value, luxury, and an atmosphere that feels both central and peaceful, look no further. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and eagerly anticipate my next stay! They even have reusable hand towels in the bathrooms of exceptional cleanliness! Talk about an economic friendly modern stylish friendly welcoming hotel that has it all!! No thats just the Camden Court Hotel

07/12/2025: Sadly not the best stay, double bed made of two singles but the joint was awful so no point. The pool is nothing like the pictures with only 3 beds so you can’t relax there. If you get a room near the front you’ll be awake all night with traffic and people about. Better choices out there
