27/08/2025: Absolutely delicious fresh breakfast menu. Very friendly atmosphere as well.

03/08/2025: Brunch time on a Friday! Place was very busy, but the staff did a great job keeping everyone attended. I had the small breakfast with a very nice coffee and the brown bread is DELICIOUS.

22/09/2025: We were quite a large party for the restaurant, 13 in total but they were very accommodating. The occasion was a birthday. The party included a 93 yr old, 2 type 1 diabetics and 2 people on restricted diets for health reasons. The menu was varied, lots of options for everyone and the staff were very helpful. The food was excellent, everyone was very happy with their choices. Highlight included chicken in porcini mushroom sauce (main) and the calamari (starter); younger party members had pizza and loved it. The atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant; no rushing, attentive staff without being intrusive and good value for money. Highly recommend if you're looking a great dining experience in Newbridge!

29/09/2025: Great morning spot. French Toast with fresh fruit, bacon, snd maple syrup was yummy. Hubby had omelette and potatoes. The vanilla latte and mochas were also tasty and even seconds to go:)

18/04/2026: Saturday morning, fast seating at inside table, great service and generous portions (panini and latte). Local dine in cafe and central location in heart of town. Limited menu but quality food. Recommended.

01/06/2026: The hotel in a hole never mind the rooms are far to warm. You air con does not work ( i had the same issue with the clayton airport hotel. my husband ended up sleeping on the floor near the window.) That needs to be fixed. Its very uncomfortable. We stayed in room 152. There was nothing in the room. Usually you would see a folder with information in it, nothing! There was no robes. It just seemed like there was no care for the people staying in the hotel.

01/06/2026: It is a bit far from Galway. You can get the 401&409 there. It has a great swimming pool and a gym. The breakfast was immaculate.

07/06/2026: We honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place than Bradshaws to host our wedding. From the very first time meeting with Margaret to the day of the wedding, Margaret and Padraig and their entire team went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. Nothing was too big or too small for them. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without worrying about a single thing. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted warm, welcoming, and full of character. Bradshaws has that perfect feeling of a traditional pub with a stylish event space, which made our wedding feel relaxed and special. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the setup looked and how comfortable and relaxed they felt throughout the day. The food was fantastic with big portions and was absolutely delicious that we still talk about it. If you’re considering Bradshaws for a wedding or special event, we can’t recommend them enough!

07/06/2026: Myself and 4 friends had a meal in this restaurant last night and all I can say is wow. Everything from start to finish was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and it was such good value for money. I would highly recommend this restaurant. 10/10. We will be back.

28/05/2026: Just passing through town, saw this on the map and wanted to try it. I was surprised to see how absolutely delicious the food looked and even further surprised that I had the best lasagna I've ever had. It was hard to pick what to eat as everything sounded so good. The appetizers I had were also amazing, bread and vegetable soup and fried brie. I definitely recommend this place, and am sad to say that I can't come here more often since I'm just a tourist.

21/11/2025: Lovely hotel with nice staff, but it's over priced I believe for the quality of the rooms, TVs without modern smart facilities, etc. I also paid €28 per night for valet parking, but valet really means you just have to queue at reception to give them your key, give them 15mins notice to get your car back and both times I gave notice I was waiting much longer; once because they were busy and had another car to move first (I don't see how that added so much time) and the second time because there was a delivery truck in the bay - it's far too expensive for the service.

28/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, highly qualified staff, very little waiting time. The pancakes are excellent, the hot chocolate is outstanding and comes with a super cute personalized design. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, but the Italian guy, Enrico, is truly exceptionally kind and courteous

18/12/2025: Top notch brunch and breakfast as well as coffee! Hands down best French toast experience I’ve had during my trip to Galway and probably ever! Flat white is on point and the value is great for portions. The smoothies are also excellent. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

30/12/2025: This restaurant was great find for breakfast/ brunch. Great menu and nice to try something different than the fry we went in for. Had amazing ham hock and creamy mushroom with poached eggs which was amazing and the service was great. All staff so friendly and we had the pleasure of tasting some of the owners sons chocolates (Bon Chocolatiers). Amazing and I left after buying a selection. Will definitely be back.

17/11/2025: One of my favorite restaurants during vacation. It was just recently renovated, and has a wonderful view of the river. The food was incredible and the entire wait staff was very lovely and sociable. They gave us free samples of chocolate that the owners’ son made, which was great! May have to visit again in the future. I ordered the Spanish fried egg with chorizo and potato hash, the shakshuka, and the bread and butter pudding.

18/05/2026: Have only done takeaway from Dawat and the food is always consistantly very good. Everything is always tasty not too spicy(well the dish I get) and hot, just very well flavored.

01/06/2026: This was an amazing experience. For only the second time having oysters I have to say I’m really enjoying them more and more. This restaurant has very fresh oysters and many ways prepared. I definitely enjoyed them. Also the normal fish was very fresh tasting. Absolutely one of the greatest places to eat.

01/06/2026: By far, this was our best dining experience during our time in Dublin. I had the best chowder of my life and the main dishes exceeded expectations. Most notably, my husband ordered the sole, and it was the best seafood we both had ever eaten. We were also able to sit at the bar and see our meals being prepared. It was a wonderful dinner experience, and next time we’re in Dublin, we’ll be visiting again. Thank you!
